I get my lunch every saturday from Lisa at the Ormkirk market, always tastes lovely, and served with a smile, love her passion for food.

This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to for a meal out. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. It was a real treat! The offer menu that they run on certain days is great value for money, with a wonderful range of dishes available. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I hope we will be back again soon.

First visit - loved it. Sunday lunch beautifully presented and delicious. Great atmosphere - although the music was a bit intrusive .A family with wailing child arrived about three quarters of the way though our meal -thankfully seated at the other end of the restaurant. While it didn't spoil our experience - a gentle observation: If one is spending Michelin star prices one does not want badly behaved children to spoil the experience.

Had the most amazing afternoon tea. Staff were lovely and very attentive and food was great, would highly recommend!

Travelling from Ireland to Stafford recently and had the pleasure of coming across the Rufford Arms. Myself and 3 others ate a beautifully presented and equally tasty evening meal. The Fish and chips was fresh, tasty and plentiful. A great menu to cater for all, even my sometimes hard to please son! Excellent value, service and everything was performed at a very high standard which is hard to get these days! So much so on our return journey we decided to stay over night here and enjoyed a beautiful Sunday roast beef diner. The rooms here are immaculate and come with modern TVs and all the mod cons you could expect. I would definitely stay again and recommend, excellent standards all round, excellent value, excellent food and service.

Absolutely lovely café and staff. Everything made to order and fresh. We had the full English breakfast, my husband the veggie version and it was delicious! Lovely setting too. Would highly recommend

Visiting my daughter in Ormskirk but this meant a 4 hour journey from the South East. We obviously arrived late, hitting traffic on Good Friday but we were met by Freida who was lovely. The room was welcoming, clean and a home from home. Me and my son went into nearby Burscough for something to eat and I can definitely recommend Lost and Found for an amazing meal at a great price, parking was nearby. I would recommend booking online as it was popular with locals. There are also a lot of other places to eat. We stayed two nights, the breakfast was lovely with a lot of choice and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. I can't recommend this place enough. There is a camping area if you prefer that. Will definitely book again for our next visit.

Lovely country setting. I only experienced the outdoor seating. Nice food and warm ambience. Poached eggs perfectly cooked, but should have been a little hotter.

Came for a family lunch before the Pantomime. We have been to Miller & carter a few times in the past and was never overly impressed but this time wow i cant fault it at all and we will defo be back! My husbands pork belly starter was delicious as was my Halloumi fries and our daughters loved their garlic bread. Main meals hubby had a dirty burger which he said was amazing, i had 1/2 rack of ribs that just melted in my mouth and fell off the bone, the kids both had clear plates also... service was amazing waitress was called Mel and she made good food recommendations and also recommended a thirst quenching drink for hubby as he was thirsty and didn't want a beer lol :) She was very pleasant and attentive and nothing was to much trouble! Will defo be back and will defo recommend :) - Some good lunchtime offers would be good :)

Food and drinks were great as usual. All the staff were helpful, we got served by Antony who was lovely. Would highly recommend!!

With no water in our village due to an accident and damaged pipeline, cooking at home wasn't so appealing so we headed off to our favourite bar and restaurant, the Corner House. The place was busy and technically full as many people had the same idea, but the staff rallied round to make room for us and despite them being run off their feet, the food and service was still absolutely fantastic. Congratulations to Luke and the rest of the staff, you really pulled it out of the bag... and this is exactly why we go back there time and time again. We couldn't recommend it more, 5 stars every time.

Was really looking forward to lunch here, but I was sadly disappointed. The drinks order was incorrect as was the lunch order itself. I would say that the food was mediocre and nothing outstanding. Also encountered being presented with the bill just minutes after you've ordered! Not impressed!
