Definately not high class and not for elitists. Family driven, noisy gym and people who just would rather work in the cafe gym than at home/office. Too busy and at capacity. For one of thier best DL's in the northwest, It isnt great at all. Just average. for 220GBP a month.

The food was barely warm & the cheese & onion pie was cold & hard definitely won't be going back, seems like they have kids running it now who are probably paid peanuts.

Lovely small cafe, staff, food and ambience all very good. Very reasonable prices.

Excellent stay & breakfast. My room was lovely - spacious with a big, comfy bed. It was clean & in good condition. The soundproofing was very good, and they had soft-closing doors, so no loud banging. The shower was great & plenty of hot water. Tea, coffee & biscuits, and there were extra refreshments, including fruit in reception which you could help yourself to, which was an extra I don't normally see & I really liked! The breakfast was really good. One of us had bacon, egg & avocado on muffin and the bacon was beautifully cooked with crispy edges and the eggs perfectly poached. I had the French toast with Greek yoghurt which was gorgeous! All the staff were friendly & helpful. Highly recommend!

Extremely poor. Absolutely nothing special. Surprised Marco Pierre White has put his name to this place. Friday night and maybe 3 tables in says all you need to know.

Been going to the lighthouse fish bar for years and it’s always 10/10. The staff are so friendly and the new additions to the menu are a real treat! Highly recommended the fish and chips with curry sauce.

I really enjoyed this visit just as I do every visit. The staff are all so very helpful and polite. The customer service is amazing. Especially Mike. The food is always cooked to perfection and Christmas dinner certainly was. The tables were beautifully decorated. The meals were plentiful. And the drinks were nice also. The restaurant /pub is so clean and well decorated. I would highly recommend kings ransom to anyone.

Nando's is one restaurant that my whole family (3 kids) enjoy and that we all agree on when deciding to go out for a family meal. My kids should basically promote Nando's because we eat there so often and they love the perinaise especially. Nando's...

Couldn't afford lunch at most other places and the usual fast food places get dull and unappetising. Spudulike, lush baked potatoes with loads of topping was ideal. Slightly too much topping though!
