Nice pub, friendly staff and good beer

They got our orders wrong twice, not sure what happen that day that nobody was paying attention, food was ok, somethung that you eat once to try ir and never again, so thats how you feel here.

Nice and clean, service was good, but it was very quiet. Food looked lovely.

The food was oh so great and excellent but on the contrary the service was DISPICABLE, I was groped and shoved and ordered to collect the condiments. This not only physically hurt me but also mentally scarred me. Would not recommend, definitely will not be returning after bruises left on my shoulder.

Worst experience I ever had..I’ve been to so many Wetherspoons but it’s the most worst one whenever I visit there no stuff is available and the staff isn’t welcoming I’ve decided to not visit there again.

Excellent value for money. Excellent service. The ultimate burgers were just lovely. Clean. Cheerful. Lots of staff. Nothing too much trouble. Happy to recommend!

The environment is good, but the price is slightly higher than that of restaurants in the same group.

I ordered an adult alfredo pasta menu for £10.60, my girlfriend ordered a portion of gammon, the pasta was served to me in the same quantity as for a child, I'm going to pay right now and I'm not going to eat it, I was told that the portion seems small for normal, then I was told that it's normal and if I want I have to buy another portion, I've been here a few times, but this will be the last.

Absolute very poor meal for the price we paid. steak pudding what had been microwaved for to long and then about 8 chips and peas and gravy just poor value for money I will never eat there again...

It's just a weatherspoons, but in a nice location without some of the usual customers so feels a bit cleaner and nicer

Needed tea on the way home from a visit to Manchester and spotted this place. I usually prefer old buildings that JDW restore, but thus was a lovely new build, named after a bridge over the canal. Easy to get to, plenty of parking and great usual standard of food. As my niece said - isn't it ridiculous that you have to go to Wetherspoons rather than a fish and chip drop to get decent fish and chips!

The presentation of this food was horrible like it all be thrown into a plate ! It was so fast which I can’t complain about but at the same time it was rushed ! We then ordered puddings . My crumble an custard was mushed together like a plate of porridge. Won’t be coming here again !! It was supposed to be a Father’s Day meal. Left unhappy.

I'm a regular eater here. I usually go after a long 12 hour shift for some dinner and a pint. This is definitely one of the better Spoons. It is not smelly, or sticky like some. It's not even full of old men with red noses from 8am until close. Maybe because of its location. It is joined onto the Ski slope by the Trafford centre. The food is always good. I usually opt for the mixed grill, and although the cuts of meats do vary in size a lot, it's usually well cooked and filling. And the prices make it not worth buying the stuff, and cooking it at home. Although they prices have snook up in recent years at all Wetherspoons pubs. It used to be £13 for a large mixed grill with a pint. Now it's more like £18. Depending when you go, it can be busy or quiet. Weekends get busy, and evenings. I think people use it before and after skiing or 5 aside football quite a bit. In the afternoons though, it's generally ok. Occasionally you'll get a party in there or kids birthday, so they tend to make a mess like they do. Food arrives quickly tho. Even on busy days I've not waited longer than 20 mins. There is the usual large variety of drinks, shots, wines, cocktails, beers and ales all at a good to reasonable price. There is also a log fire at the far end which is nice in winter. Like most Wetherspoons, they have TV's and speakers set up, but never have them on. The speakers seem like the most pointless things there to be honest. No background music or anything. Occasionally the TVs are in for sports events. The toilets are usually clean and up some stairs....not the usual labyrinth of corridors you get in some Spoons. The disabled is downstairs by the bar, although lazy people will use that too. Parking is usually ok and is free. And there are outdoor seats too which gets very busy when the sun is out as you get a nice sunset from there over Barton Bridge. The staff are efficient, without paying any particular attention to regular returning customers like some places do. It's like they reset their memory for faces at the end of each day 🤣. I have seen other regulars in here quite a lot, and it's usually for food and drinks. Not just usual drunks. So yeah, it's a good one to try out this 👍🏾.

When ordered food the server didn't listen and took the order incorrectly, when the food was delivered to the table and we told about items missing, and we received a shrug of the shoulders and the reciept pushed into our face by the waiter with 80's mullet and the statement that it's not on the receipt.

Very disappointed in the breakfast menu, or lack of the items we wanted. The menu is an extensive one, but when ordering the menu became a lot smaller! There was no fresh fruit for with the yogurt, no option to have brown bread instead of white, no pancakes and no syrup for lattes. On the whole a disappointing start to the day. There had been an evacuation of the premises as we arrived, which ended within 5 minutes. Not very busy but several tables had not been cleared and seem to take ages for someone to clear the items away. The environment is also looking old and tired, could do with an update.

Just walked 45 minutes to get here and for some strange reason it's shut no explanation no note on the door nothing I am a massive Spoon's fan and this has ruined my friday thanks Spoon's also it's 14.00 absolutely no reason to be shut

We decided to have a Birthday dinner here after iFly. Most of the tables were dirty. The table we sat at was sticky and crumbs everywhere. Didn't see any waiter sanitizing or wiping down. Filthy. Waiter looked like his battery was run down. Gourmet burgers were nothing to shout about. BBQ sauce was out of a bottle stone cold. Nothing great. Would rather go to a Beefeater.

Stayed at a Travelodge nearby which does not have a restaurant so this Wetherspoons was very convenient.

1 of the better spoons I've been in , breakfasts were ok edible you get what you pay for but the place is nice and clean.

Went with family. Food was generally good. Chips were crispy. Chicken was tasty. Food was hot. Service was fine. No complaints. Atmosphere was okay. A bit busy and rowdy but probably much calmer when there are less people in.

Was very busy with the rugby on, not the pubs fault but did kill the atmosphere a bit (had been soft play with young kids and just wanted a chilled bite to eat). Overall a good wetherspoons although got food before drinks due to the rugby lot

Food came quick considering how busy it was. Couldn't fault the food it was spot on. Needed more floor staff as there was a lot of tables that had not been cleaned from previous customers. Lots of parking and easy to get to.

From a distance, the building looked like a car showroom, but inside was clean and modern. It was not my favourite spoons in Manchester. However, the food and service were fine.

Service very slow, order was wrong queried it with the manager who didn’t want to take ownership and tried to push it on to me. ( then, her excuse was they were busy😐oh please. Won’t be returning to this one there are better other Wetherspoons. There was some delightful person outside driving past in a car with kids, and girlfriend sticking his middle finger up at anyone coming out of Wetherspoons. Very childish behaviour but what a great role model to those kids.

Visited here yesterday, upon entering, it was nicely decorated and clean. There was a delicious smell in the air. Bethan greeted us and apologized for the slight queue and she would be with us soon, which she was. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable and the food was well presented. Bethan remembered what we were drinking on our second trip to the bar. Very good customer service considering how busy it was. The toilets were immaculate. If they had been slightly untidy it would have been forgiven as it was busy, but all staff were on the ball. Very good pub, we will visit again.

Visited the Chill Fatory but was too busy then decided to pass by JDW and try out the traditional breakfast, never had I eaten such a cheap breakfast so delicious at this price! In under £8 breakfast and tea! Great experience

A bit like a British homes stores cafe. Despite the modern building.. Kids and chips everywhere and uncleared tables.. Not the staff fault. But the staff shortage fault..

What is wrong with this place? You walk in and are met with a cloud of thick grease smoke that pervades the whole length of the dining area, clearly something wrong with the extraction system in the kitchen. The carpets and floors are sticky and threadbare in places, stuck down with hazard tape. Can't anybody clear or wipe a table properly? Hot food, well that's what its sold as but arrives semi cold and then the toilets... In summary it needs a full refurb.

We popped here for a drink before skiing at the Chill factor. We decided to have breakfast, a pleasant surprise for both price and quality with quantity. I would recommend this place for a bite to eat or just a drink to unwind.

Had a breakfast there was no bacon got hash browns as a sub , shame the wife doesn't like them. The food was cold! Never again!

Waited half an hour for food (which is a long wait in wetherspoons when it's not busy) before I asked what the wait time was. The waitress went and asked then cam out with our food. Some was red hot, some was only just warm. If we had not been hungry and wanting to get off to make our journey home I would have sent it back. Will go again on our next visit but will I form them and to make sure it is hot this time!

Good experience with good people

Nice clean pub and great for using chill factore/ playfactore. We went Sunday morning but they didn't have much stock of anything for breakfasts. By the time we could order something that was in stock they would no longer do breakfasts and wasn't helpful so had to spend more on a brunch with chips didnt want. Got a brunch instead and had bacon missing off 2/3 plates but the food we did recieve was hot and tasty. Think we would stick to going for normal menu food than risk breakfasts again.

Sat outside with my dog but apparently this is against company policy. Blonde haired woman with glasses comes out with a scowl on her face and very rudely says no dogs allowed even seated outside. Very bad attitude from her which was uncalled for. Very odd to not let dogs sit outside.

Not a cheap day out. But with JDW, you already know what you will be getting. I had 12 pieces of chips with my meal. Having a real fire brought character to the pub.

Been a few times but the meal I had on Thurs was awful. Chips were lukewarm and I think were made using packet Smash potato mix! Tasted terrible. Everything else on the plate could have done being zapped in the microwave! But to top it all, every single mayo squeezey bottle was empty….all 15! Staff are always quick and good but letdown by poor ingredients and chef’ing!

My wife and i have stopped here before but this time we came with friends. We were stopping at the Travelodge, so came here for breakfast. The place was full as the local Rugby team coaches were here. The service was still good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was fresh and piping hot.

Brutal ! Didn't have what we asked for ( told 20 min later ) , understaffed , put to the bottom of the list , coffee and hot chocolate were horrible. I would never go back

Me and a friend had a breakfast in there it was lovely...I had the big breakfast 😋 it was tasty and filled me up nicely.

Absolutely shocking. Went in for food, ordered at 10:45 at the bar. The server didn’t say what time they close or gave us a heads up. Food came at 11:15 n the person told us we had to hurry up. At 11:25 he asked us to leave when I was still eating. Disgusting service.

The food was delivered within 15 minutes of ordering but I was given no Tennessee sauce and the Waiter dropped my wife's food, he apologised and took it back to the kitchen . My sauce was replaced. 15 minutes later the waiter returned with my wife's food but, it was cold. He apologised again and took her food away again. He returned 10 minutes later, third time lucky but, me and my son had finished our food. Terrible service for mediocre food. We will change to another Weatherspoons next time.

Clean and more family friendly than most Weatherspoons

The pub itself has a nice atmosphere, but the food was really shocking. I know it’s cheap but even so. I had the Tennessee burger and both burgers were over done and dry as a bone. Luckily the Jack Daniels sauce added some flavour. My partner went for the 3 light bites and had the “halloumi” style fries, chicken wings and the garlic bread. The wings were all dry and the garlic bread was basically a fajita wrap that was dried out that much it was like a cracker.

We called in here on a recent Saturday morning for breakfast. We found it to be good value for money with good tasting food, and good service from the staff too.👍🍽 🍵

Ordered a curry was no chutney at the stations asked the waitress said she would go and see ,never even came back and said there is none had to go to the bar and ask and sha was serving someone else I'd been forgotten about very ignorant never even apologised very bad costumer services.

As after 2pm the afternoon deals were available and place was reasonably quiet. Although this venue is much dearer than Altrincham or Bury the Fish & Chips is the best value. At just over £20 for two meals plus alcoholic drink it is still reasonable value. After ordering was told it could be up to a half hour wait as only one chef on duty. However meal arrived in <15 mins and was of a good standard. Chips and peas were at least hot, but chips were slightly overcooked. Again no checks made if food was OK, plates were at least cleared away quite promptly. Not the best but certainly not the worst Wetherspoons venue.

Only had coffee £1.50 refillable.

Wow. I'm blew away! The food, the service, the atmosphere! Just wow!! I would highly recommend the 11" pizza. The best dessert is the cookie crumble. Its vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and pieces of cookies! The cool thing is, you're right next to city airport in Barton so you can see lots of planes. I am interested in planes right now so I love to visit 🤣🤣

Barman and Chef very helpful organising my request for veggies instead of rice with curry. Wasn't made to feel a nuisance. Table waiter also friendly and helpful attitude.

Visited here with 4 adults for breakfast prior to them flying abroad. 4 of the party really enjoyed the items on the breakfast menu, & the unlimited tea/coffee offer once you paid for the first one. However, criticisms were that the food & drinks - all coffees - were warm, rather than hot, & that the portions were very small, & over cooked. Other than that, the place & its loos was very clean, free ample parking & nice, quiet atmosphere.

It's a decent wetherspoons but nothing special

Food was tepid service was ok but staff lòoked bored and tired no warmth or enthusiasm .

Walked in here , no one to say hello or greet you so sat anywhere. Tried to order via app but didn't work. Food server had no good customer service skills. Dropped the food and then scarpered after I politely asked to get more sauces / condiments. Food was really good but the whole experience in all was doom and gloom. Please polish up as it wasn't very welcoming.
