The Cafe Place in Trafford

Horrible food, got takeaway, no butter on toast, think they forgot to plug toaster in ,toast was that underdone.

Very nice and clean Cafe with delicious food and drinks. I loved the fresh rose on the tables. It’s a cosy place. Caring staff who are happy to serve you.

Great food and lovely people , we are only here for 3 weeks but this is our number 1 place

Service is superb, veggie breakfast options, black coffee was perfection.

We found this lovely cafe when coming to Altrincham a couple of weeks ago, and again today, we have to come here now and again and we’ll be sure to visit The Cafe Place each time, we had different meals each visit and the food was lovely and well presented, prices are great value and the staff are nice and friendly.

I had the big English breakfast with a latte. Cooked perfect and tasted soo good! Latte was spot on too!

Just put an order in .taken my money then cancelled my order. Not very good business this

Had a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Both were great .

Went in for a full English. Cotst nearly £8 . The beans were grey .the tomatoes and mushrooms were all dried out like they've been reheated all week the cheapest sausage possible it was minging and the HP Sauce had some sweet drown rubbish in the bottle twisted discussing. The coffee was fine . I ate bits of if but feel horrible now . Avoid at all cost

Placed an order on just eat was left hanging for 10 minutes for it then to be rejected. I can appreciate you may be busy but turn your online orders off manage this better.

Ordered 3 hours ago food is still a no show they rang an hour ago and said they are really busy but they will make it and send it straight out but still no sign of food, my mums diabetic so had to eat because the wait was too long won’t be ordering again surley a 3 hour wait is a joke ??

Food was great, dude was a bit rushed but polite.

Food was well cooked better didn't really like the ingredients but that's my own preference others seemed to enjoy it over all it's a nice place

I like this cafe. Simple straight forward and the coffee is piping hot. Not had the food but it is very reasonably priced.

I literally never leave anyone a bad review so the fact I have shows how awful this place was. We paid an absolute fortune for the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Initially ordered a £8.50 breakfast for two people to then to be told once paying for it, they didn’t have it. We were then offered a £6.00 version instead. Had to ask for the difference refunded as they didn’t even bother to offer. We asked for coffee with oat milk and was made with cows milk- good job we didn’t have milk allergies. There was no sugar so completely left the coffee and wasted £5. No offer of toast preference and came with white which again wasn’t eaten. The whole thing was a rip off. So so expensive for the bare minimum. Left feeling absolutely starving and like we hadn’t eaten anything. Staff weren’t great either. I wouldn’t go here even as a last resort.

Enjoyed a nice lunch , like this cafe very much.

We ordered around 11.45 didn’t coke till 2.25 we kept ringing they told us to wait

Waited 10 minutes to get served and I was the only one in the cafe, waited a further 20 minutes for a tuna melt sandwich @£4.50, I came with no lettuce or onion, just a small baguette with a bit of tuna in and a sprinkle of cheese. Would not recommend.

Nice place for a quick bite and a coffee.

Very good value. Jacket potato with two filings and a salad for £3.95. A 3-egg omelette with a salad for £2.95. £1.50 for a good sized cup of tea. Good service, tasty food, would definitely visit again.

Opens on the main road where no way to park. You need to go around to park your car

Had a rainbow burger, loaded fries and waffles and mind blown. Delicious! Actual fresh pickles. Delicious patty! Nicest guy. Great place. I'll be back....

Had a quick breakfast and coffee here. Nothing to complain. The omelette was done well with good amount of cheese. The coffee was quite cold though. Good variety of menu available if you want a full breakfast.

£8.50 for a breakfast and does not even come with a drink RIP off. Bacon was dry cooked hours ago and reheated Egg was full of black bits cooked in dirty oil Sausage was beautiful give you that £10 and left feeling disappointed

I was very happy with my cheese, tomato and mushroom omelette, it was great value and came with a nice side salad. My partner had the veggie breakfast which looked like less good value but I'm assured it was tasty all the same. I appreciated that they didn't overcharge for hot drinks like most cafes and takeaways do. I was impressed with the lady who served us.

If there were an opportunity to give it zero stars I would have done so. Simply ridiculous. A 2 hour wait for a breakfast delivery when ordered through Uber Eats. I understand it to be a busy period in the morning hours but if the capacity cannot be coped with just reject the request rather than accepting it and making the customer wait for 2 hours just for the breakfast to be served. Absolute shambles. Simply poor service. Will never order anything from them..

Ordered via deliveroo an hour later and 30 minutes past delivery time no food contacted the store spoke to what sounded like a young girl who wasn't interested 1 bit and stated the delivery time her end was an hour, when I stated well its been over an hour and no food she said sorry that was it then hung up on me! 20 minutes after the phone call (85 minutes after ordering) the food arrives no apology from the driver (who isn't a deliveroo driver - works for the cafe place) got the food in which was just placed in a carrier bag and was not transported in a thermal bag! the food was all mushed and cold not ediable at all! I rang the cafe place gave my order number and they hung up on me - great customer service! Will not be ordering from them again terrible service all round

My partner and i visited here for a quick bite to eat, we both opted for the roast beef barm with onion. This actually turned out to be a bordering on stale barm, one piece of minute steak YES MINUTE STEAK certainly not roast beef. It was covered in cheap nasty margarine and about 3 tiny bits of onion. There were a family in the corner complaining about how long they'd been waiting. There was a lady waiting over 15 minutes for 8 takeaway coffees. It just seemed to be a complete shambles. The girl who was serving us needed a good shot of charisma, when my girlfriend asked for sugar, she threw two sachets on the table. The whole experience was a complete shock from the food to the service and then the price £4-50 for a minute steak totally unacceptable.

Really enjoyed the big breakfast and omelettes. Nice coffee too. Convenient location for the local big shops and far nicer food than the other popular options in the area (KFC and McDonalds) nearby. The food is decent, good value and well presented. We ate in so can't comment on take away or delivery.

Terrible cheap food. Ordered scrambled eggs and salmon and guess what i got … worse than home cooked food and a cold slice of aldi salmon. If you really want to try salmon and scrambled eggs go to uplift healthycafe. They will give you 6 eggs with big portion of salmon for 5.80 while i paid 10.50 for food like this… Never again!!!! avoid at all costs

Small breakfast. Egg toastie and two hot drinks for under a tenner! Coffee and tea excellent. Toastie hot and filling. Breakfast great quality. Bit of a wait but all done to order I think. Very friendly and efficient young server. Will return if in area

Waiting for car service at nearby Manor Garage, looked for a place to work on laptop. Coffee and tea cakes good, internet brilliant, was here for nearly 2 hours got loads done. Be fair to them and don't just buy one coffee if you spend over an hour here- its not a free office :-)

Stopped here for tea and teacakes whilst out on a walk with our dog. Lovely friendly waitress, she even brought a bowl of iced water for our dog xx Very good prices and beautifully presented.

Genuinely the nicest fry up I have ever ordered for delivery. Great value for money and all the food was cooked to perfection and delivered hot. Sausages meaty with a nice bite to it, unlike many other placed that use Richmond soggy sausages that are like biting into a wafer. Eggs, hash browns and mushrooms all Peng. Will 100% be ordering again.

Yesterday, Mrs and I bought our breakfast and I must say it was the best. It was prepared with love and care. I was feeling like eating home cooked breakfast so fresh and delicious. The Cafe Place is really clean and staff are well mannered. The menu has wider choices. Honestly I tried other places in the area but this one is gold mine. Definitely I will visit again. Highly recommend others to visit if you are looking for a delicious breakfast.

So clean fresh hot coffee great food and lovely staff. When you walk through door you get a good feeling with bright clear menu loads of choice in hot cold food and drinks. Well worth a visit

Highly recommended! I work quite close to here and I usually go there to grab a cold/hot sandwich or a panini for lunch - I've only had amazing experiences. I've found the food to be delicious and the staff to be amazing, kind and with a good sense of humour. I've never had breakfast here but I have heard a customer say that the food was perfect and another saying she will try to come again.

not recommended horrible coffee sausage was frozen from inside not cooked properly and even chief don't know how to cook complaint and they said this is how we cook.

Visited for the first time today after taking my daughter to her ice skating lesson. I am vegetarian but i am also a very funny eater, but Sarla(?) Was very friendly, approachable and accommodating. She put togwther a vegetarian breakfast with all my favourite things. Excellent service and she was wonderful with my little girl too. We will be visiting again. Everything i look for as a retail customer service manager ... amazing thank you

Firstly there were fans in the cafe that were absolutely filthy! Not good in a place where there is food. Either give them a good clean or renew them. Could do with a good clean within the cafe too. Food ok for the price but nothing special! All the sugar pots, and sauces need cleaning! Staff very unfriendly except the waitress. You need to take these points on board so your customers have a better experience. 5/10

Very affordable prices for quite good quality. Of course you can improve, use more fresh jacket potatoes, reduce the size of cappucino (just make it twice smaller and keep the amount of coffee, only less water, you’ll get richer taste and the volume closer to italian cappucino). Keep an eye on furniture state. Staff was really friendly and professional.

Fab cafe, only popped in as spotted sign whilst passing on a sunday morning on way home from a camping trip. Really glad we did, superb customer service, great choice on the menu, lovely big cups of coffee. Food (a Big English Breakfast and an Omlette) yummy! Highly recommend, we will definitley be back!

The best breakfast I’ve had in Manchester by far, all the food is really nice here. They’ve tried to make as much as seating as possible and the girls do a great job getting food out quickly at peak times. Honestly have tried most of the menus and the portion size and quality has always been wonderful, they’re very accommodating and friendly.

Found this place whilst on a bike ride along the canal. The veggie breakfasts were spot on and they sell lovely big mugs of coffee which is pretty rare, I find.

I had read the reviews and thought I'd give it a go. I only had a jacket potato with tuna and cheese- I couldn't complain at the size of it for the price and thought they were quite generous with the cheese and tuna. (had already had a few bites before taking pic)
