Don’t ever apply here- I was emailed to come for an interview and all I was told was to come there at a specific time which I did. As I got there for the interview they made me wait in the busy restaurant for 20 minutes and then they finally came to me and asked if I have my passport in an INTERVIEW- not even got the job yet so don’t need it- when they didn’t even tell me I needed to bring anything in the email which they should know to do as a manager and then left me again for another 10 minutes only to come back and say that I have to have my passport with me and they asked me to go home and get it after I had already come in late in the evening but agreed to come the next day again for an interview. I came in again today for the interview with my passport again and tried to ask one of the workers to get me the manager so I could do my interview and I was given a very blunt response saying that I’m not allowed because I’m under 18 ( they knew I was under 18 in my last encounter ) and wouldn’t let me speak to the manager even though the manager was the one that told me less than 24HRS ago to come again. When the manager was free I told them what I had just been told and he told me that I’m not allowed to work even though their application says I am allowed to work there and so did the manager the night before. As a manager you should know how to communicate properly and treat people fairly, not give out false information and drag people along for two days, passing the blame of the issue onto one another. If you knew that this was the case you should have called me or emailed me before hand and not wasted my time further. Please go and train on how to actually be a manager and not just have the title. The one star is generous.

If only there was a choice for no stars. Horrible management- dragged my daughter around for two days for an “interview” even though they knew they couldn’t hire her and one staff even wouldn’t let her speak to the manager who told her to come there in the first place. Some rude staff and managers don’t know what they’re doing- all they know is how to pass the blame to each other . Please never apply here they don’t care about you.

3 times I asked the cutlery to be changed, due to stains all over them. I can clean this better using my tshirt. Asked for the manager and all I got was " it's watermarks what do you want us to do" how about clean them. Every other restaurant is capable. All I received was attitude. Not hygenic at all. Not happy. If I get ill expect a occupiers liability claim 😡

Not as busy as others and bigger toilets, food and staff are just like their standard.

Food arrived at 5pm, 10 minutes later a reserved sign for 6pm was slapped on the table, we thought ok that's fine we will be finished by then. 10 minutes after that our plates were quickly taken away be we were finished and we were rudely told the people for the table had arrived, no apologies or no other table found for us. Then found out wether spoons had made a mistake and the table was actually booked for 5.30pm. wether spoons then decided to send the people to the table before we were even ready, so our drinks that we had just bought had to be left behind and the worst part of this event is my 3 year old son had to leave still hungry as he was unable to finish his meal!. I will make sure that myself, my family and everyone will know will never use this wether spoons again. Disgusting

Saturday afternoon, approx 45 mins for food to arrive, and when it did, burger was overcooked, and bun was burnt .

The food was great. The staff was amazing. Made me feel very welcome. And young lady called Marcia was especially nice. Really nice big smile very polite, a great personality , just what a pub needs . I go to a lot of Wetherspoons around the country due to my job. This is by far the best, Keep up the good work, I will certainly coming back to this great welcoming pub ,,

The place is amazing, and customer service is 5 stars however this time was no straws having Sainsbury’s next door, I asked for pizzas to my kids, if you see underneath the pizza is raw, need to review the formula for the dough and time of cooking, even you sell pizzas don’t offer or don’t have pizza cutters that’s really bad services even when there are not really expensive. I love the place but there are few things to improve.

Fantastic Wetherspoons. We got a full English Breakfast & we didn't wait long. It was lovely 😊 Staff very friendly & efficient. Parking did cost us but only £2 (not Wetherspoons car park). Very clean inside & ladies toilets were nice 😍

One of the legion of Wetherspoons found across the UK. It's a more modern building than some but warm and clean. Food typical for spoons good value and reasonable portions. You know it's not prepared from scratch (hard to at the price) but good range and tasty.

Visited on Tuesday 8th October 2024. One steak was all grisle the other two not much better. Worst experience in a Weatherspoons . Lots o food left on the plates. Mentioned to the male waiter that it was an awful he said "sorry about that". The chef needs sacking for sending food like that out of the kitchen. Also whatever happened to serving food on warm plates ours were cold. Puts us off Weatherspoons or good.

Always busy but with quick bar and food service. Had a burger, chips and a G&T for £8! Basic but tasty and great value.

The main course was amazing properly cooked and this would make me go back. The only downfall was the desert I had sticky toffee caramel pudding and it was ice cold and the so called hot custard was ice cold too. Which disappointed me really but can’t have everything perfect

Nice staff, friendly atmosphere

Standard Wetherspoons pub. Prices are spot on in this credit crunch. Drinks OK. Only irritation was the uncleared and uncleaned tables. Sticky sticky!

The Wetherspoon mobile app is very suitable for any traveler and those who are not good at communication. The staff here are very friendly and energetic, and you can feel that they respect their work (at least that’s how it appeared to me). I had breakfast and dinner here for two days. The prices and food quality are reasonable, and the environment is clean.

Saturday 3rd August 2024 This is a really well run weatherspoons It had today a very good range of guests, real ales on offer The beer thet was on handpumped. I drank were excellent The staff today were really good at their jobs, and the drinking area were well looked after and clean Well done, all involved

An excellent pub once again from Wetherspoon's. I popped in for coffee so I can't comment on the food. Nice building, plenty of space, clean toilets, good service, massive selection of drinks and unbeatable prices. The only problem is the lack of free parking during the day (which isn't the fault of the pub, but is still a problem nonetheless). Apart from that, top notch!

Fantastic evening! Fantastic staff! I haven't visited a place with more welcoming staff who you were able to have a laugh with. Nothing was too much for them they all went above and beyond. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening here and will return again.

Mediocre food and rude staff. Party of 8 and the staff informed us AFTER we ordered, that the table was reserved and we'd have to vacate by a certain time. Toilets were overflowing and staff told is that we'd have to make do. I had ham, egg and chips. Ham looked grey, egg was like rubber and luke warm chips. Maybe an off-day, I'd try it again if I'm in the area.

I was visiting friends with my son an we decided to go here for a light snack and a drink. I can’t complain about the service that was quick a foot was nice and hot however, everything I touched was sticky the menus the table the condiment bottles and then my son got chewing on his hands that someone had stuck to the table. It wasn’t the best experience and I doubt I’d visit there again.

Not too bad for a small Wetherspoon's. I had a very good Peerless ale: Citruvian for £2.63. Very small outdoor seating area with some shade and sun.

Normally cannot fault the afternoon deals put on in all Wetherspoons outlets. Usually ~£2.70 cheaper when eating between 2 and 5pm. Pub was very quiet and ordered our favourite fish and chips plus garden peas and two pints of lager for <£17. Arrived within 10 minutes, fish nice and hot and not too greasy however chips and peas were quite cool and not pleasant. Complained and got a full fresh meal with an apology. This time everything was piping hot. Again no one came to clear away the plates in over 30 mins. or ask how our replacement meal was thus slightly disappointed.

No ice for 3 weeks, staff member dreadful attitude when enquired if problem resolved. A large company as Wetherspoons is should have it sorted immediately. Generally staff very good , one member dreadful attitude , lets the rest down .

My dad's been a regular here for years but this evening some manager threw him and my mum out because they complained they food was served cold and they had over half an hour wait without it coming back reheated. They accused him of shouting at her. He explained he has hearing aids that make it difficult to hear through ambient noise. This person was obviously was on a mission to prove a point and chucked them out despite other staff, customers and security defending him. I'll be interested to hear what they have to say in response to my complaint and that of my other family members. Dad knows most staff by name and just wants a quiet few drinks and food. He's not in the business of downing shots and laughing like a hyena so I guess he's no longer their target audience. Put your managers on disability and discrimination awareness training and teach them to listen to valid feedback rather than throwing their toys out of the pram. From what I understand this manager got so worked up she threw out other paying customers who defended my dad. Class act. UPDATE: got a poor response from customer service basically saying tough, the licencee can do what they want, they consider the matter closed. Punchline is they hope I visit them soon 🤣🤣🤣 I'd rather set fire to a ten pound note

Entered really clean really professional so I thought! Stood at bar bar tender serving someone so I waited till they finished then another person came to the bar a bar team member walked from the kitchen and ignored me and went to the person after me, the one who saw me but was busy then finished then walked away fair to say I don’t normally have an issue but there was five people on the bar and 3 people needing to be served so no excuse so went somewhere else sort your staff out as I am a lover of the spoons but this was my first ever time in this one and it’s also now my last no wonder your staff turn over is so high because your staff pick and choice who to serve clearly the fact I wasn’t wearing trackies or had coke on my nose means I am not wanted in your venue

Great pub. The food was very tasty. We visited twice in 2 weeks, Saturday 18th May and Wednesday 29th May. Excellent friendly service from Alex both times. Will hopefully return when using Manchester Airport again.

First time ever had a bad steak day. Will give steak here a miss for a time. Also Wether spoons have dropped the 5 bean chilli replacement not good. Unicorn staff second to none .

The staff don’t look happy and they take that out on the customers. Some will Stand and go through coins for certain people and staff but to wait to be served is a joke……. And these people of staff members are a joke to!! They don’t no the meaning of life to force yourself up to even venture out!!!! It’s so demeaning. Least I try

Big improvement in the way is now cooked from previous kitchen staff .need reintroduce full 6oz burger more succulent than 3oz ones and a better burger bun that doesn't disintegrate when trying to eat the burger sirloin steaks a lot nicer a better supplier but bit of s rip off to charge over £11 quid just for steak and chips where is the peas mishroom tomato that used to be added instead of adding onion rongs as a gourmet dish charging extra for the privilege would be nice to see a new menu with salmon or s good variety of quality fishcake would be s nice healthy option

One of the staff bring drinks to the tables didn't seem happy to be working there but I found it quite rude when has was delivering our drinks and told us "A smile would be nice." in rather moody and frustrated tone as he delivered drinks to the table. We were pleasantly chatting among ourselves and we would naturally of thanked him for the service as we alway do but I feel the need to say he was just rude.

Great place. Facilities were good. Service was fast considering it was packed for Saturday. We attended as a small LGBT walking group but all enjoyed our alcohol and food. Id absolutely eat here again.

Enjoyed a very reasonable priced lunch

I met friends for a catch up in the afternoon, it was quiet which was good for us to chat. The range of beers is good and great prices. The building is newer than most Weatherspoons so lacks any interest or character.

Have previously had a decent visit. This time it was not so great. Cold breakfast, congealed beans. It seems the kitchen has gone down hill, I hope they read these reviews and fix it.

I visted here today (Friday 12th Jan) having been here before on numerous occasions. As Spoons go, this place can be hit & miss, particularly where real ale is concerned. Personally they have too many generic types for me & not enough locally sourced brews. That said, those on offer are usually of good condition. The pub generally is looking a little tired, stained carpets, with a few tatty tables etc, the toilets too are reflecting a similar feel. Ok, It's not dirty, but a make over wouldn't go a miss. I had the fish & chips today, which I have to say was one of the best ive ever had. This is my second sampling of this dish & on the previous occasion it was as equally good.

Very slow service and no apology. Order was wrong as one breakfast was missing an egg. The other breakfast’s eggs were rock hard. Beans cold. Toast wasn’t toast, but very slightly warmed bread. I know Wetherspoons is not meant to be the Ritz, but every other breakfast I’ve ever had in a ‘Spoons has been fine. This was just grim.
