I loved this place. The food was super fresh and super tasty. This is a small place with limited seating but I recommend giving it a try you won't be disappointed.this was just what I was looking for. Healthy tasty and friendly. Wish it was closer to home I would use it all the time.

Lovely setting, delicious food and friendly staff. A perfect finale to a long weekend away. Would definitely recommend.

This is the PERFECT pub for Sunday lunch. It is simply amazing. My nephew rated his cheeseburger “10 out of 10 - and more!”. Thank you.

As in all of Simon Rogans Restaurants - Overall Perfection. Service - Faultless , staff trained to the highest levels , knew everything about the food down to the smallest detail. Friendly and welcoming , perfect. Food - Chef is amazing , love his cuisine (overseen by Simon rogan) and some really unusual combinations ( Celeriac , Pickled walnuts , scotch bonnets , Miso). Memorable food (which is rare these days) and exciting to eat.....top maks to chef Mark McCabe. Ambience - Romantic , stunning decor that really doesnt get any better. Prices - A great way to experience Rogans food at a very reasonable price. £95 for 10 or so courses. Drinks - Can end up bumping up the prices. My tip would be to go for "wine by the glass" rather than the wine flight as you`ll get more. Would i return ? - 100% YES. Overall - Definitely one to experience. Michelin star definitely on the way.

Superlative food. Eclectic and interesting decor in lounge/ bar areas. Restaurant itself over modern and over lit. Some staff didn’t seem very happy, but overall we enjoyed our evening.

Absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. Close to all amenities and bowness just around corner. It does need a update but for location and price i could not fault it.

Visited the restaurant as a hotel guest, the staff were attentive and helpful, there was no judgement when we wanted to order things in an unusual order, prepared a cheese plate to take back to the room :) Beautiful views and lovely decor and atmosphere. We will be back, great little find.

In an area such as Bowness which is always very busy especially at New Year. It was great to be able to book a table as a lot do walk ins only and you can't get a table. The greeting was excellent and friendly banter. Shown to our table. It was starting to get really busy. We ordered the taco sharer with a bottle of red wine. The wait was not long considering how busy it was. We absolutely loved the sharer everything was cooked great. We loved the tacos. I would just like to mention the Manager. Considering how busy it was she went out of her way to talk to us and made us feel really welcome considering how busy she was l, top marks. We really can't fault the visit. We enjoyed it that much we went back another two times during our week.

In April 2023 on Easter Sunday I went to this chippy and the staff was being rude to me and playing tricks with me and the staff had no manners whatsoever but chips and gravy was fine

We stumbled across this gem on a whim whilst in the area. I can only say positive things! The starters, mains, and desserts were cooked really well, and we all cleared our plates. There was a brilliant menu with a variety of dishes that suited all three of us. Very hospitable staff and a nice ambience.

We called in at the Cornish Bakery to pick up some provisions before a day’s walking in the lakes. What a gorgeous little bakery with friendly, welcoming staff. We would recommend the almond and cherry croissant, as well as the chocolate twist. We also grabbed some lunch to take with us and recommend the spiced cauliflower and onion bhaji pasty, as well as the chicken masala pasty - both brimming with filling and delicious, unusual flavours. Couldn’t fault the food, the staff or the venue - a great spot to sit in, or grab some tasty snacks to take with you!
