Been coming for years and a 45 minute drive each way. Very disappointed, prices have been hiked, changed their waffles from Belgian to home made dry and not very nice, £9.80 for a squirt of cream which was melted mush, 2 small scoops of ice cream, ridiculous price. Lost another customer. Why change what was clearly working. Not good at all,🤔

Lovely food, good service, it was packed but communicated really well and did everything they could to get people seated and served as quickly as possible. Only down side is not dog friendly which for its beach location is a bit of a downside as had to leave the dog in the car which isn’t ideal. I’m guessing they don’t want wet dogs inside which I understand but pubs and cafes in the lakes cope and it’s always wet there!! Still rated 5 stars though as lovely place👍👍

This cafe uses young, sullen, girls to serve you. They were pulling annoying faces behind the counter, which really put me off. I ordered a gluten-free ham sandwich and an orange juice. The sandwich arrived with a salad garnish. The bread was dry, in bits, and must have been a little old. I really just ate the ham and nothing else. The orange juice was, possibly, THE CHEAPEST, have ever had. This unappetising rubbish cost me £12!!!

Just wanted people to know this place does not accept macmillan cards to allow you to use the toilet in an emergency, my husband was refused access to a toilet yesterday , 12th August, despite asking about the menu first and then asking for the toilet. Because his need was urgent due to his condition he just said forget it then. The owner then came out and shouted at my husband saying you've just upset a member of my staff. I explained that he was a macmillan card holder and that his need was urgent but she still didn't offer assistance, just said I haven't got time to talk to you, so we left in a hurry. We are two old age pensioners by the way.
