Have been to Blue Mountain tonight for the last time as it closes in 2 weeks. We have been going for over 10 years and they have served the best steaks, tonight was no exception with an excellent Tournedos Rossini and my wife said it served the best Key Lime pie she had ever had. It is a shame that it hasn’t had the support it needed and is unfortunately closing. All the best for the future to Amanda and Colin.

Absolute gem of a place. But unfortunately, closing soon. Varied menu all looked so delicious. I had steak and was given one with the stilton which I haden't ordered but I said I would try. It was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, could not fit in dessert. Washed down with a lovely Shiraz. I so want to return really hungry so I can have three courses. Try it before it shuts in August 😭😭😭😭

Have been a couple of times and have been very impressed. Delicious Sunday lunch and good value for money. Lovely friendly people.would definitely recommend.

If you find yourself in Morcambe, you could do a lot worse than take a healthy 25-min walk (or 5-min drive) along the promenade to the Blue Mountain Bar and cafe for most excellent food. Beers on tap, delicious wines and a large, eclectic menu, all cooked to perfection. Excellent service with a warm welcome, and as I went at lunchtime I was delighted to see that they offered the same menu as the evening. All topped off with one of the best sticky toffee puddings I've ever eaten. Just go.

Ate at the Brazilian night, the atmosphere was lovely, we had a great time and full as always. Hopefully there will be more themed nights in the future as we really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic evening, great food as a special night of Brazilian food, meat bought to table and cut, buffet for complimentary food and a great desert buffet. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were great and so glad we went. Check out their events on Facebook. Definitely go again as a great place.

Friendly welcome, lovely little restaurant…and the food? Absolutely delicious! I had the fillet steak, honestly the best I’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly and melt in the mouth tender, amazing flavour. My husband had the Chicken Au Poivre, again, delicious. We will be back soon!

Had a LOVELY meal at the BLUE MOUNTAIN in Morecambe! I had Hake and my mother had Steak, we had veg and chips to accompany the dish. I thought the Fish was very nice and my mother said the Steak was cooked to perfection! I’m attaching some pictures of the meals and I would say, that this place is worth a visit if you like very good/tasty and nicely cooked food!!! I have to admit that I ate the starter before I took a picture of it, it was very nice. I think they were crab fishcakes, lovely!

Night out with the BF. Exactly the same as it was the very first time I came here years ago. Same nice lady taking the orders and same lovely food. BF had a steak that he said was "amazing". Whole place is ace.

Been coming here on and off for twenty years and though the people have changed the place is still busy and the food is tasty. They specialise in steaks and the portions sizes are famously huuuuge. We had a fillet (special occasion meal) with wine, didnt bother with starters as we knew the steaks were big enough. Has really super views of Morecambe Bay.

Morecambe Delight . The Blue Mountain is most certainly one of the best eating places my friends and I have enjoyed . The food was so well presented and all fresh ,and served with a very welcome approach which can often be rare . We will certainly be back , well done Amanda and the chefs and waitresses .

We have been today for our Christmas Dinner there was eight of us in our group cannot praise The Blue Mountain enough. The food was delicious the service was excellent it has made our family Christmas complete .Thank You so Much Lindsay Garnett.

Great food all dishes cooked perfectly nice clean establishment I think a better wine choice just my opinion but the wine we had was still fabulous great place to visit would definitely visit again.

Went here for Sunday lunch on our Anniversary. Wonderful! The people are so friendly (including their little dog) My husband had battered sausages with gravy to start - huge portion of 8. My chicken & mushroom soup was delicious. We both had the Turkey roast dinner. The best bit was dessert. He had key lime pie with ice cream and I had apple pie 😋😋 Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Service is always very good here, unfortunately a major drop in food quality since our last visit 6 months ago. Bought in Paté, bought in desserts, poorly dressed salad, deep fried (in old oil) Rossini croutons, no cream in Dianne sauce, frozen chips, even the fillet was incorrectly cooked... I could go on. Charging top rate prices for bought in poor quality food "cooked" by a passionless and potentially unqualified chef isn't acceptable, left feeling robbed and disappointed - £240 for 4 people. An explanation would be appreciated, we did ask about the Dianne sauce (basically gravy with mushrooms) - no comment or apology; "I'll go tell him", was the response.

Omg had the mix grill and ended up in a meat 🍖 coma .. there is enough on the plate to feed an army and the meat is cooked to absolute perfection. Brilliant small restaurant would highly recommend the food was delicious my husband had the fish and chips was massive and the fish was so delicious and moist,I had steak and ale and mushroom pie WOW the meat was so tender and plentiful I asked for a spoon to make sure I could get all of the gravy as well and the puff pastry on the top was delicious . Highly recommend you book though because they are always busy .There little dog was in the restaurant but no bother it just greeted everyone then went in it’s basket to sleep so cute .We will definitely go back when we are in Morecambe again.

We visited Blue Mountain on Saturday 29th July. We were in Morecambe for a family wedding and took the chance to get the family together for dinner a few nights before the main even. There were 7 of us, all adults and we'd booked ahead based on Tripadviser reviews and we weren't disappointed. The menu was great, lots of choice. Everyone found something they fancied and most of us tried something different, we had starters and mains and we all enjoyed what we chose. Staff were lovely and service was excellent, no waiting. The restaurant was very comfortable, we had a table for 7 with plenty of space. I'm happy to recommend Blue Mountain, treat yourself. We'll definitely be back.

Had a great meal here on the 28th of July for my birthday

The food was mixed ( fish and chips excellent, gammon was poor. The restaurant is in need of updating. Frank Sinatra playing in the background sets the stage.

On the 22th July we went as a family of six for an evening meal , the food was absolutely top quality and enjoyed by everyone, the staff were very friendly and could not enough for us and the atmosphere was great and played happy birthday which was a nice touch. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone

Visited with friends. Nice surroundings and even with the rain the view was great. Food was cooked to perfection, and have to say it was the best steak I have ever had. Staff so lovely and friendly, a truly great evening.

Went there tonight, everything normal when we ordered our drinks. Chose the Award winning Mixed Grill, priced @ £33. Small portion to be honest. Small piece of steak, 2 mushrooms 1, 3 inch Sausage 1 fried egg. 3 very small pieces of chicken ( not much bigger than the sausage in total. A mediocre piece of gammon with a large curl of fat on it. A burger which was no bigger the 4x 2pence pieces. Bitterly dissapointed with the portion size I started eating it. 15mins later the chips arrived, a very small dish of chips arrived to serve 4 people. My wife was still waiting for hers at this point. I mentioned to the waitress that the service had gone down hill since i was last in. She looked incredibly shocked. Wont go back, cross it off your list, youll be dissapointed. 0/10 for service and food.

Lovely bay view location, intimate and welcoming restaurant. Booked one night because of good reviews before leaving booked in for another evening because the offering for both choice and execution was first class. Would recommend for everyone willing to pay that little extra for the best

As usual when we visit Morecambe this restaurant is the first we book. We have never been disappointed from the oner who always gives you a warm smile and a friendly welcome along with all her staff members.The food is a very high standard along with the Lemonchello liquor which they produce and I always order 2 bottles to take home.Keep up the good work and if you are visiting Morecambe make sure your book this restaurant

Brilliant little place, the fillet was cooked perfectly and was tasty, and the mixed grill was a really good size and everything on it was brilliant. The mustard mash was great too. Happy with our service too

An well located restaurant with bar area. The menu was extensive with vegetarian and fish options as well as steaks and chicken dishes. So catering for all tastes. The service was excellent, being attentive and very friendly. A real jewel if you visit Morecombe.

The food and wine never disappoint, there is such a varied choice and the hosts make every attempt to accommodate individual needs. We honestly cannot find another restaurant in Morecambe or Lancaster to meet the standards that are displayed here. A definite must visit, exceptional value.

This place is a little gem food cooked to perfection i salute you the first time in 50 years that food was cooked to what i asked for and was the best I've had for a long time

Consistently good food here. Tasty and well cooked. Staff friendly, but issue with the boiler and so pretty cool inside hence the three stars for atmosphere. They did sort it eventually, so full marks for effort.

Had a meal with my family here today 23/10/22 for our Daughters birthday. What can i say apart from, fantastic. Staff were lovely and very helpful, we were slightly late for the meal, as we live 45 minutes away, and M6 is painful, but they didn't rush us and totally made us feel welcome. Food was lovely. I would definitely recommend. And will hopefully return.

It isn't what it used to be. The staff are fantastic and service is quick. The food is good but not as amazing as it once was. Steak was cooked perfectly but the sauce was too thin for my liking and the mash potato reminded me of Smash. Would I go again? There was 3 of us, starters of potted shrimps- lovely. 3 Fillet steaks we ask for Rare (they are 9oz nice big steaks) and they came perfectly cooked no gristle no waste tasted amazing. Plenty of lovely mash, fries and veg. Hubby had the apple pie said best he had ever had. The staff are attentive and friendly.

My favourite dish, the fillet steak Rossini had been disappointing for the 3rd time, instead of a nice thick Madera sauce once again it was like gravy. Priced at £26 on their website it was actually £31. The wife who always has a chicken dish was again also disappointed. Nowhere near as good as the previous owners. We won't give you another chance.

When their dog poos all over the dining room floor it kind of puts you off your food and ruins the evening. No apology or discount gestures given. I love dogs but surely it's not hygienic to have one in the kitchen and dining room of a fairly expensive restaurant.

Went here last night with a group of 33 people from work, we all pre ordered beforehand. My steak arrived it was over cooked, the veg arrived about 5 to 8 minutes later so the steak was cold by this time, i also ordered onion rings which they totally forgot. I asked for them, when they arrived they obviously just cooked them as they was read hot just how would have expected all my food to be. Nobody came to the table to ask was everything ok. I didn't complain on the night as i didn't want to spoil anybody's evening. I definitely won't be returning or recommending the Blue Mountain to anybody. Maybe they just can't cope with large parties to be served all at the same time. So moving forwards for the restaurant maybe don't take large parties, and then they can just concentrate on giving quality food and service to individual tables.

Unfortunately I suffered horrendous vomiting and diarrhoea during the night after the meal. Don't think I'll be coming back even though they accommodated us without a booking. Kind of wish they hadn't.

Visited for second time after lockdown. Agin food was great. Chicken was hot and tasty. Veg selection was delivered with the chips and mash, the mash was really tasty and the chips. The portions were so plentiful we could not finish them.

We last went here about 6 plus years ago and it was really good. However, owners change. We went this evening as a party of four. It was really cold. I never took my coat off. The waitress did apologize for the cold as we entered, but it didn't improve. We had steaks and 3 of them were inedable. One should of been pink but there was no pink to be seen. The only positives are the mash, veg and chicken. It is so over priced. I don't mind paying over the odds if the food is good but this really wasn't worth it. Even the lady on the next table left alot of her steak. It was full of gristle, tough and inedable. The waitress knew we weren't happy, as the plates had a lot of steak left over on them and she never asked us, if everything was ok. Don't waste your money, and if you do, take a blanket. Tip for blue mountain, either change your chef or buy your steaks from somewhere else.

Went here for a family meal and loved it. The steaks tasted amazing. Also got to meet the owners dog, it was the highlight of my evening. Such a beautiful little dog. Definitely recommend as a great place for a meal. Steaks are 😋😍🤗

We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary at the Blue Mountain restaurant this evening together with a gathering of 20+ family & friends. Everything went wonderfully, the meal provided by the chef was perfect, our hostess Amanda & her staff were most welcoming, and provided us with excellent service.
