We're camping at the Archer's Farm site and decided on chance to visit the cafe having seen a queue form.Wow ! This did definitely not disappoint ! Well designed inside, very attentive staff and a great menu. The food was delicious and we were more than tempted to stay there all day to try out a few other options. My only complaint? They eventually close. I'd love to dine there on an evening too .

It was a bit chilly so they gave us a blanket just a QuickTip book in advance if you remember very busy. Lovely walk after free parking lovely views we will be back Thankyou

This is a very popular place, by locals and visitors alike and there is a reason for that. The food is brilliant, matched by excellent service in a wonderful location. Based on the shore, you can have a lovely sea side walk (weather permitting) before having a wonderful meal or snack at Archer's.

Came across this lovely cafe by chance on a coastal walk from Morecambe, sat in “The Dog house” a fire heated barn for dog walkers, bacon barn, sausage barn , chocolate cake and a brew, couldn’t ask for more. What a great place

Just queued with my wife for at least 20 minutes to then be told only one of can come in! Even tho the girl admitting people in had seen us both queue up for said duration. No signs anywhere to say only one person allows in for takeaways. No menu outside so how do you choose what you want!?? Very poor from a place that I used to hold in high esteem. Covid is not an excuse for poor planning and logistics! Won’t be going back. Poor

Great campsite! Despite the difficult wet ground conditions at the moment, the place was everything we could have wished for.On arrival we were welcomed with a friendly smile (which goes a long way in my book) the site warden is a really nice chap, nothing too much trouble (again, goes a long way with us). Hot showers! Lovely view of Morecambe bay, hassle free happy camping, simples! PsDidn’t use the cafe, so can’t comment on that but will do next time.

We were staying as a family group camping on the site and decided to visit the cafe for breakfast on the last day as we had heard good things. After lots of being messed around with tables - could only have 6 per table but we had more children with us than adults so we were told we couldn’t stay/could stay/couldn’t stay eventually we were allowed to eat! The food was quick and tasty. I had a mini breakfast and the toast was forgotten I asked and was told I couldn’t have extra...I wasn’t asking for extra. We ordered drinks at the table and ended up going to the counter. It was very busy so assume that was the problem with communication so would try this place again but was disappointed.

My boyfriend and I have recently visited Archers on a number of occasions and have been very impressed after every visit, especially given the covid circumstances at the moment - which they adhere to very well and it’s definitely a well cleaned place that follows guidelines which is always good to see! We’ve had a few options to eat such as the breakfasts, burgers and paninis/ciabattas and are yet to try the cakes which look amazing (we are just always too full!!!). Only comment I would make is you have to pay extra to have mushrooms and tomatoes on your breakfast which isn’t a big issue for us and always happy to pay extra if we fancy it. Overall really yummy and tasty food, really friendly staff - especially one lady who was greeting people at the door and doing the track and trace, very happy, smiley, enthusiastic and welcoming. Didn’t get her name but joked about customers not dancing and singing in the cafe, always good to see a friendly staff member. Makes the place rememberable, so will definitely re-visit many more times. Thank you!

My husband decided that he'd like to go for afternoon tea for his birthday as a change. We'd been told that Archers was a lovely place by our neighbour who's been several times. They do one time for afternoon tea, that's 2.30. The place is well thought out, the menu looks delicious and the staff are lovely. We had a choice of cafetiere coffee or several types of tea. It was served a few minutes later followed by the sandwiches and cakes. All were delicious and we were given the choice of a refill of our drink but we were both too full. We'd definitely go there again and would take friends as well.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch at Archers Cafe on a miserable rainy day at the end of February - well worth visiting! We both ate the lamb burgers and were not disappointed. Very tasty, nice proper baps (not brioche buns which seem to be a trend at present) with fresh side salad. The service was swift and friendly (and it was very busy when we visited), the dining room is cosy with warming fire and background music at just the right level. Prices are reasonable and what you get is definitely worth it. I would recommend you visit!

Attractive Cafe that’s description hides the fact that it’s more of a nice Bistro come Tearoom. The venue is tastefully decorated, clean and rustic. They have a wide ranging menu supplemented by wall mounted specials boards. It is all a bit on the expensive side for this part of the country however. They should provide full table service to justify the prices, instead of the downmarket practice of telling customers to ‘grab any free table and go back to the counter to order’.

This cafe is is in a lovely location, is very comfortable and serves great food at a reasonable price. Owing to this it is very popular and you are effectively privileged to to get a table. The staff are friendly but they don't need to work on customer service - the cafe will almost always be busy. At lunch time today (Sunday) I counted 23 people that came in but left because of the queue whilst I was waiting for a table. Hence, if you don't like waiting and demand great service, don't bother. If you are prepared to wait and to fit in with their system you will be rewarded with great food. That said, it would be helpful for the staff to acknowledge people as they enter and explain that they are happy to wait but there will be a lengthy delay.

We arrived at the very nice looking Archer’s cafe which was busy and we were seated on a bench next to another couple to wait for table to become available. My grandma used to visit this place alot and always told us to visit but unfortunately could never remember the name of it (red something) whilst out with my mum deciding where to go for lunch we thought we would try and find where it was. After taking a wrong turn down a lane we finally found it and I'm so glad we did, it was very busy when we arrived but we managed to get a seat. The place is a little gem it's beautiful inside. I had the pulled beef sandwich with stilton it was great my mum just opted for a bacon sandwich. A latte and cappuccino. Drinks came fast and food not much after. I thought we would have been waiting longer with how busy it was, but we are never in a rush so wouldn't have minded waiting either. We found everything to be fantastic and even had ice cream, we took these outside as right on the sea front so great views. Staff were friendly even though very busy, sometimes dont find this in some places when so busy and hot. A regular for years, the last couple of visits have been incredibly disappointing. For example, the chips used to be lovely, chunky home cut ones, but now they are skinny fries, fried to death. The ones served to me today were almost black - they looked like re-fried chips to me, possibly from yesterday. You used to struggle to get seated here, but not anymore. I'm obviously not alone in thinking the food has taken a decided turn for the worse.

My friends and I have visited Archers a number of times but have not been lately. You do have to get there early or you won’t get a seat as you cannot reserve a table. It is off the beaten track and it is right by the sea shore. The cafe is set in an old barn and it has been tastefully converted. Lots of twinkly lights are everywhere and you have three booths that hold around four people plus other tables and settees in two separate rooms. There is a lot of meat on the menu, however my friend who is a Pescatarian had the Scampi which she exchanged the chips for a jacket. I had the gammon and jacket which was delicious. There was lots of cakes to choose from but we were very full with our mains. (There is also a specials menu) I noticed quite a lot of people queuing up to get a table, however if you book for Afternoon Tea you can reserve your table in advance for 2.30pm. The food prices were average. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can sit outside in the summer and they have various little animals and birds for children to see.

Just had lunch here with my two children and have been left very disappointed with the service. Children's menu is very narrow - nothing that doesn't involve bread/chips. My children wanted a jacket potato but at 6yrs old don't need a full one to themselves so I asked that one be split for two children's meals - no other cafe I have ever visited have found this to be an unreasonable request - but at Archers it seems that this was too much to ask! The jacket was simply served with an extra plate and I was told that the kitchen was too busy to cut it in half for me!

Set on a farm Archers cafe sits on the edge of Morecambe bay with good walks. On this occasion I had a catch up with Friends for lunch, and once again the food was locally sourced and scrumptious, the staff are a delight ....casual and attentive. I can definitely recommend Archers cafe.

Good wholesome food starring their fabulous salt marsh lamb, farmed here, delicious home-made cakes and my favourite south lakes ice-cream. Homely, Cosy fires on cold days, good service.

Just returned from having a very enjoyable afternoon tea. From the smile on the waitresses face when she welcomed us to the white tablecloth , the traditional tea cups, the flowers on the table all was well.

Myself and my friends went for afternoon tea and oh my goodness me. What a delight. Two of us had the gluten free option which was amazing. All the cakes seemed to be home made (even the gluten free ones)

I have had lunch here several times with my husband and friends. The food is nice and cafe itself is lovely. It obviously has a good reputation as gets very busy at times with people queuing for tables. Also in a nice location next to the beach so a great stop off after a long walk.

Popular cafe/restaurant. Classy! Only had coffee so lucky to get a seat before the lunchtime rush! Good views across the bay to the Lake District. Attentive friendly service and good coffee. What more
