This is an utter gem having visited for a light lunch on Saturday 8th June. The toasted ciabattas were so imaginative with a salad/coleslaw optional extra. My husband had a slice of orange cake with a summer fruit compote- all delicious in a lovely pocket in the old part of Heysham village. We highly recommend this super independent cafe. Nice to come to an independent cafe too!😁

Haven`t been to Heysham village for several years, but we called in on Friday, & found this pleasant cafe/tea room. It was hot, so we sat outside, we ordered sandwich & panini, & coffees, we were served by a very pleasant lady, who was only too happy to help, our food was delivered, quickly to our table, the sandwich & panini, were well filled, and on the large side, plenty for a hearty appetite. I felt they were good value for money, & quality ingredients used, All in all, a very good experience.

An absolute treasure of a cafe well worth a visit. At the south end of the bay stretching up to Morecombe and the Lake District on a clear day the views from the cliffs are breathtaking. All the produce is cooked in house, the baking is outstanding, imaginative and totally delicious. Salad boxes or home made panini's and focaccia for lunch grab and go, tea/coffee/milkshakes. Local ice cream - its all here. Car park opposite and walk along the cliff tops just out the back, with Roman Tombs to view.

Hi there, we tried curiosity corner and found it ok, I've been to many cafes and found there wasn't much on the menu for me. It was mainly sandwiches and cakes not much cooked foods for example english roasts dinners, fish and chips etc. I was very disappointed that there wasn't any ventilation as I walked in there was condensation on the inside of the cafe down the windows and it just smelt of food, just food smoke everywhere. My clothes smelt of food after that, if I've of known I wouldn't of bothered.

Visited this on the sort of day where you crave a hot chocolate - as someone with a cow’s milk intolerance this is a very rarer commodity. Having established they had not just one type of non-dairy milk but 3 I asked about their hot chocolate blend. As expected, I was told that it had dairy in it however I was also told that they could make the a special hot chocolate using cocoa. It was delicious so too marks for wonderful customer service. They were so helpful we went back later and had our lunch there which was very tasty. I would thoroughly recommend this cafe for both its food and great service.

Recently had lunch here with the family and was quite happy. I had one of their Greek salads - the portion wasn't huge, but just fine for lunch. Very fresh and tasty. The rest of the family were happy with their choices, too. We had 3 cappuccinos afterwards - they come in very large cups and tasted OK. On the whole, this is a really nice pit-stop for those on the way to the Isle of Man - or of course for anybody visiting Heysham beach/St. Peter's church.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat, reasonably priced and very quick service. Food was delicious (especially the coleslaw) and a great portion size. My partner and I believed the only thing missing from this vintage-inspired tea room was a bit of music to add a little atmosphere - the record player in the back room would have been perfect! But ideal for a quick bite to eat and drink :-)

Stopped for a cup of tea whilst in Heysham for the Viking festival. Cakes looked delicious. We just had drink this time due to time of day, staff seemed friendly, could have been served a little quicker, the lady in the counter wanted to finish cleaning before servicing me and instead some came from the back to serve.

Tried to have breakfast there on Sunday with mum and 8 year old son. Although the door was open was rudely advised they were closed when we tried to enter at 9:30 am.

Curiosity Corner is the sort of cafe you dream of stumbling on: pleasingly decorated in seaside blue and white, with strings of bunting above a counter laden with delicious home-made cakes. When we visited there was a delectable, many-layered Victoria sponge, a dark and treacly liquorice and blackcurrant loaf and a variety of scones and other cakes. We had a light lunch of home-made soup: a greeen vegeatble and a beetroot, leek and potato; both served with - yes, home-made - toasted foccacia.Excellent value, delicious food and a really nice retro feel. The perfect seaside cafe.

Nothing here falls short of 10/10; I enjoyed the food, dessert and a coffee all served in the nicest dinnerware! All food/cakes are cooked fresh in the morning by the owner and it doesn't get much better - except for the friendly service and welcoming vibe!

4 of us had a great lunch and were spoilt for choice with great combination fillings for ciabattas. Brilliant soup and foccacia that were a meal in themselves, but unfortunately no room for fantastic array of cakes. Solved the problem by taking lots of cakes home for later. Great service and lovely people running this cafe - recommended when in the interesting village of Heysham and its surrounds.

Called in to the cafe today for lunch but unfortunately they don't allow dogs in so had to take our custom elsewhere. Odd really with the number of dog walkers out on the beach / prom they seem to be missing out on a lot of available trade.

We had a meal here today and although the food was really nice the lady who served us was less than friendly . I tried to make conversation with her but she wasn't really interested. Also they need to make sure their toilets are cleaned regularly, not the worst but definitely not the best. It's a shame because the food we had was really nice.

This restaurant was recommended to us for Sunday Roast and did not disappoint. We had pork belly, and the Sunday roast beef. Yorkshire pudding was perfect - crisp and stuffed with some roast beef. Se
