I had the worst lemon top ever! I’ve tried lemon tops from other vendors in Redcar, Saltburn, and Whitby, and they were all outstanding. They featured the perfect blend of sweet, velvety vanilla ice cream paired with deliciously sharp lemon sorbet. However, this lemon top tasted like a washing-up liquid. It was a melting mess that left a lasting bitter aftertaste. My partner had to throw theirs in the bin because the taste made them gag.

Santa experience and coffee shop. Santa experience was amazing with a wonderful walk through toy land ending with a sleigh ride and Santa visit. Then a coil to choose a toy from a shop full of a wide variety of good quality toys. We then had a gingerbread latte and festive sandwich which was delicious. Staff are lovely and prices reasonable. It's been a magical day for our boy

Stopped here for a cuppa and a sandwich, tea was nice and hot. I like very strong tea and that's what I got. Sausage sandwich was lovely, fresh bread bun, nice sausages and plenty to fill the bun and a little more for good measure. Lots of local produce available to buy from sweets, biscuits, fresh eggs. I would recommend

We've been comping to the Ramblers for year whenever we're up in Wooler. Cam up this weekend, first time in a while and we walked up to get out normal latte and a slice of cake. Unfortunately it's no longer there and has closed down. So, so sad to see. Was a great little place, very friendly and welcoming.

What a lovely place. Booked for my partners birthday treat. An overnight stay and tasting menu. Firstly the room was beautiful - large, tastefully decorated. Great on- suite. Big comfy bed and fine views over the South Tyne valley. Clearly some serious money has been spent on this place. Staff helpful and delightful. I can't remember the last time someone offered to carry our bags up to the room. The man behind the bar who checked us couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and special. In the evening after a drink at the bar we were seated at our table and enjoyed a brilliant tasting menu. Clever food beautifully presented. And the wine list! Extensive and at surprisingly low prices for some very high end wines. Great sommelier who was not in the least bit pretentious. And the waitress was friendly, funny, professional and very efficient. A totally brilliant experience. And after a good nights sleep a proper breakfast to send us on our way. Can't wait to go again!
