If you want to go on the karaoke the same face people how get him a drink always get up he has borod money off alot of people in the pub he borod500 off old jone and has not paid her back he needs a good hidden

Really run down old pub used mainly by locals. Very cheap drinks and friendly staff. Pub smells quite bad due to age and probably year's of smokers. In competition with wetherspoons across the road and loosing.

Good night on a Sunday for the Karaoke. Eddie still doing the rounds just like the old days in Pumphrey's. Canny bar for a drink and a sing song or just seeing people making a fool of themselves singing just like I do. All good fun.

My twin brother Stephen and I had just visited The High Main Pu ( Wetherspoon ) across the road and decided to drop into The Butchers Arms Pub opposite and what a great find. A lovely pub, well kept,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, great decor and furnishings including beer advertising enamels adorning the walls, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub,a cool pub indeed. We were here on a Tuesday afternoon, we ordered a beer each, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we just kicked back ,chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My beer was really good, a crisp, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, on a hot afternoon a totally refreshing brew, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and being out and about with my twinny. We both really enjoyed our beers in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and for a first time visit to The Butchers Arms Pub we had a great time. The Butchers Arms Pub is easy to locate along Shields Road. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till 11.30pm. A wonderful pub,most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Butchers Arms is a no-nonsense pub in the Byker district of Newcastle that offer a decent beer and spirits menu and was one of several pubs we went to when we visited Shields road. Across the road from the High Main a very busy Wetherspoon pub'the Butchers Arms is housed in a traditional pub building with its name emblazoned above the entrance of the superb pub. The inside of the Butchers Arms is fantastic with a well kept multi-roomed interior which has many interesting fixture's and features throughout the whole pubs interior. We went here after having a fish and chips meal and a few beers in the Wetherspoons and decided to go in here for a few beer's. When here we had a Birra Moretti Brewery Pale ale a superb beer which were served in perfect condition and well priced.This is a superb local pub with friendly staff and a well priced drinks range and is well worth a visit and is very easy to find from Morrisons bus stop it's a minute walk.(This is my first review of the Butchers Arms). Its been years since I was last in here but its my Grandas local. This time I did not have a woman 40 years senior to me follow me around with a cordless microphone singing the Thong Song

A proper pool table, an outside area for smokers, and much more character than the wetherspoons opposite.

Cherry on top of my favourite street in the North East. Great for matchday pints.

Great atmosphere play bingo 15:00 to 18:30. Still have the whelk man come around with his basket.if you you enjoy a good proper pub ,this is the one
