Amazing place to meet up with friends and family, staff are awesome. Jack is one of the friendliest bar staff I have ever met, very welcoming and asked for my name after the first couple of times I came in. Excellent service and atmosphere 10/10

Been to watch the euro's and had such a good atmosphere all the way through. They had a players card competition all through the finals with prizes and forfeits depending how Yr players did which was a good idea to do! They also had a predicted goal sheet were you got to choose which minute a goal was scored with the winner winning all money put in. The food was amazing, I had a cowboy burger and nachos!! A must try!!! They have free pool on Tuesdays and some really good nights on the quiz on Sundays followed by card bingo which is a good laugh to join in with!!! Defo a great pub to go in and have a great time!!! Plus its dog friendly if Yr out for a walk n fancy a pint!

Sam and Colin hosted my surprise 60th birthday party...it was an unforgettable amazing night. they massively went over and above. to make sure everything was perfect..as always..they totally transformed the place ...I won't ever forget 22 June 24 they made everyone feel 'at home and presented the most amazing buffet with lots of selection ❤️😛Compliment to the Chef and Staff.👍👍 Annette M.....Birthday Girl xx

Clean and tidy, staff are very nice. Food was ok but nothing like photos on menu. We did get one of the meals changed but still not what we were expecting.

We've recently moved into the area and we eat out about 4 times a month so decided to try the Eagle. Staff are absolutely lovely, we took advantage of two Morettis for £7 and the beer was a gorgeous pint. Got a kebab each, doner and chicken. The chicken was lovely I'm told, but the doner was really poor, how that is on any menu I don't know. It was vile. The flatbread it was on though, it seems there was something wrong with that because we were both ill all night, and the flat bread was the only thing we'd both had. Will come in future for drinks but never again for the food unless something changes, it was awful.

I needed somewhere local to accommodate extended family with children and an elderly mother in law with mobility needs and dementia. Who is also a picky eater!! Was expecting bog standard food as it’s an Estate pub which we frequent for drinks regularly . We know the staff are very accommodating and always go out of their way to help. Even providing dog treats on the bar for our dogs and crayons and colouring books for our grandchildren . However for a party of 10 the chef surpassed himself. The pub was already full to the brim on a Friday teatime as usual . But all our meals came out hot and together. 2 of our part tried the ultimate southern chicken burger and were very impressed. Me and my daughter had the fish, chips with mushy peas and I must say that that it was the best fish I’ve had in ages. Compliments to the Chef!!👍 The 3 children were super happy with the ice cream sundaes and are planing on dragging grandma next Friday .Great value , Great service .Very pleasantly surprised with whole experience. Will definitely not underestimate the local pub for family get togethers ever again .10/10 from me

Absolute must go to pub if you are looking for the perfect atmosphere in my opinion. Very friendly bar staff who greet you with a smile, like they actually want to be there and the energy they give off really sets the mood for the pub. Lovely regulars who are always up for a conversation and great prices considering yarm is down the road. The food is fantastic and i recommend the spicy beef burger (not too spicy, but enough zing to get taste buds going) overall great experience and will be back and spread the word.

Seven of us managed to get together to have a family tea in celebration of my birthday. The service here was excellent; they made me feel very welcome on my special day. I ordered a Cowboy burger that came with fries, although I prefer their chips (chips = delicious). Had the meal which was tasty and filling. I’d recommend coming again to a place that makes you feel at ease. Excellent all round! Well done Colin, Sam and the team. You were all amazing!!!

I went to The Eagle for lunch with my husband. We both had Cowboy burgers with chips. Food was delicious. Chips were very tasty and burger was lovely. Meals were nice and hot. Enjoyed them tremendously. Would definitely recommend

Came here after being recommended by a friend. Chose to bring the family and have a burger and a few drinks while here. The food was very good, atmosphere was great and staff and service was second to none. Would recommend a visit here if in the area!

We go here regularly for a roast dinner or even just a few drinks and it’s always amazing. Staff always make sure any dietary requirements are catered to and are spot on when it comes to knowing about allergens etc. Portions are always generous and you can tell the food is cooked freshly to order. Any other food we’ve had has been fantastic too, but the roast dinners are next level. The owners are always super friendly too.

Called on the off chance, just delivered a motorbike to a customer. The staff were friendly and welcoming, in particular the guy behind the bar and the chef. Food was well cooked and hot. Top marks .

I heard that they had a new menu so I decided to try the Salt and Chilli Chicken Kebab, I’m don’t really like pitta breads so I asked if I could get it all inside a baguette instead and I was not disappointed! The meat was tender and juicy and really nice, baguette was toasted perfectly, I did as for chunky chips but I got fries instead understandable as it was very busy during my visit. They have a lot of new items on the menu that me and the family will be coming back to try. Friendly bar staff served with a smile, great atmosphere, definitely recommend coming to try their new menu!

The place was nice, busy and loud but nice. Allowed dogs which worked well and food came quickly. Staff were helpful. When I couldn't carry drinks, staff came round and helped right away and took to table for me. Very friendly. Very nice place and will be back

A lovely visit on Friday for lunch,quiet and the food was delicious…I had fish n chips…crispy batter and flavoursome chips… a dog friendly pub with doggtowels to dry your pet if needed and treats on the bar…water bowls as well very clean and organised bar,amenities clean and well looked after..

Another evening visit to a great local pub. On top of that a free evening of live music. Although extremely busy because of the entertainment, the time spent at the bar ordering food or beer is taken care of, swiftly and efficiently by the professional and happy bar staff. Ben and Jack whom everyone quickly gets to know are just a few of those to mention. However all of the team deserve a mention as they all have a part to play, which makes it work so well for all concerned.

Staff disinterested, food was obviously frozen and cooked in microwave. Attempted to complain to management who were just rude. Will not be returning- avoid at all costs. Used to be a lovely place

Attended the Halloween disco and the kids absolutely loved it! It was arranged by management, £10 per child which included the disco, prizes and a kids meal. We were reserved a large table for our party of 13 which was ideal. Will definitely be booking the Christmas one!

Could do with a good good clean, was thinking I had to share my food with the massive cobwebs in the window As we left they obviously saw this review, all the staff staring at us , manager running around telling people off , telling customers about it which made them stare , after we left then they went straight over and wiped it off with his bare hand , how about using a cloth to clean it and that wasn’t the only cobwebs -very dusty in places and desperately in need of some new curtains with actual tie backs rather than pieces of string . Awaiting another response as I won’t be back

Cheap food of fair quality surfaces are perpetually sticky

We went for Halloween last night with our grandchildren and paid £10 each for our two grandchildren . Our grandson who is only 5 yes old is quite shy at times and doesn't like dressing up, Unbelievabley !! because he didn't have a costume on he was left out of getting the gift that all the other kids got ..Not nice !!!!!, Colin in answer to your reply My review was not unfair it was actually polite Firstly when we arrived the table we booked had been given to someone else, The only game we noticed was musical statues The one picture round was not even collected before we left just before 6 o clock Still beggers belief that at £10 per child you couldn't have the heart to give a little boy a gift not good value in my book I very much doubt I will ever visit your pub again Sandra

This is a proper pub with good beer priced well and very good food The staff are polite and well mannered, which doesn't cost anything but means a lot I live in Yarm centre and I wouldn't visit any of the pubs there So I recommend this pub '

Terrible service today, booked a table of 12 and was told this was fine. We waited an hour and a half for Sunday dinner after ordering, landlady was very rude and told us it was our fault for not preordering despite that not being an option given to me. Furthermore, a vegan member of our party was given meat sausages despite clearly asking for a vegan meal. Also the menu specified that the vegan dinner came with no mash or Yorkshire pudding and hers did so they clearly have no knowledge/do not care about dietary requirements. We asked for a refund as she wasn’t going to eat it as it wasn’t vegan and the staff immediately became defensive and rude, thankfully a lovely member of the bar staff sorted it all out. Food was cold, broccoli was grey, beef was tough and overall wasn’t a nice atmosphere, won’t be going again!

Two lovely young ladies on the bar . Erin and Isla maybe ? Forget the Second Ladies name but both went above and beyond for us on our recent visit ! We use to go to the eagle pub years ago and loved it .. started going again and still love it . Food is great.. staff are really freindly and professional would fully reccomend.

Came in for some food and I was not disappointed. I was served by the lovely and welcoming landlords who made sure we had a relaxing and comforting visit. Food was fantastic and I certainly would not go anywhere else. If you haven’t tried The Eagle Inn, then please do, you won’t be disappointed.

We come in here quite often it’s a lovely place to sit with family and friends, the staff are always friendly and welcoming and attend to anything you want/need. The food is also high quality but affordable and most certainly worth a visit. You can even catch a tan sitting in the beer garden sipping on your favourite drinks and did you know there is a duke box so you can listen to your favourite songs while relaxing! Don’t miss out on this place, it is a 10/10. Special mention so Sam H he is a real credit to the team and will do everything he can to make your visit the best it could be.

Another delicious meal at the Eagle for Mother's Day. Thanks to all staff on making Mother's Day so special with their fine dining, fresh flowers and beautifully set tables. It was perfect! The staff are always so accomodating and nothing is too much. We will be booking in again for Easter weekend and without doubt visiting in between.
