We visit regular with our dog, he loves this pub and always drags us in after his walk, staff are really friendly and clare always bring our dog iced water especially when it's hot, lovely friendly pub.

Extremely slow service as they are dealing with takeaway orders at the same time. Waited over 35 minutes for burgers. Not McDonald’s I know, but it’s pub food not fine dining. Table’s filthy. Food came over a seriously protracted timescale. The server seemed to have no idea what was to be delivered to the table. Food. Grey chicken strips for the kids. Brack burgers were very poor quality and left a film of fat on the palate. Toppings overwhelm the burger. Probably deliberately. Seriously over seasoned chips making them inedible apart from the few that managed to evade the spice shovel. Overall, an experience never to be repeated.

I booked the lounge for a party, on Saturday 2nd March. We were welcomed by Andy the manager who made sure we had everything we needed. The buffet was delicious, lot's of choices. Staff were lovely, couldn't find fault with anything. Would highly recommend booking for a special occasion. Thank you so much. Sue & Mick

I cannot comment on the food as my party did not have any. Met to exchange Christmas greetings and gifts on Christmas day. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The service was fantastic. The pub is very clean, and despite its size, has a very friendly, cozy feel to it. By the time my party left, the pub was doing a very brisk trade; obviously very, very popular!

Went for group Christmas lunch and some music & dancing. Private room. Everyone had a good enjoyable time

Called in for lunch with my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter. The staff were just starting to sort out the Christmas decorations. Lucy was so excited and the staff were really lovely with her allowing her to join in and help decorate. She absolutely loved it. The food was great and they even put Lucy's in a box to bring home as she couldn't eat it all. I would definitely recommend as a friendly place to eat a good meal.

Brack burger is spot on. Staff are good too and 100% of the time haven’t killed our mate who is allergic to diary nuts and life in general. Spot on.

Since the Jubilee added brack burger it has went from a pub I would pass-by and give no second thought to the pub I now frequent in my area. The beef burgers are honestly the best burgers I have personally ever had, however contrary to this I honestly can't recommend the chicken burgers as they lack any seasoning or flavor. The jubilee is also a great pub to catch a game or go to on a nice warm summer day due to their outside seating area. It's definitely worth a pop in.

Brack burgers here are my top burgers in Newcastle. Loaded fries and halloumo fries are too die for too. Everything is spot on. The burgers patties are perfect combo of juicy and texture. Toppings are beautiful (fav is pb & j). Service at the jubilee is nice and friendly, and drinks are very reasonable Recommend

I called in to kill some time while I was looking after my friends dog. First sign of a good pub is when they allow dogs! It was about 1.30pm so quiet. I ordered a soft drink and a fish finger ciabatta (is that how it's spelt?) which tasted really good. The staff were all friendly, my dog was offered some water and a member of staff came out with some treats for her.

First time back since Covid and the staff were as welcoming as ever, it was like we'd never been away. Had a burger which was one of the best I've had, very very nice. I've put 3 stars for atmosphere as we were the only people in on a Wednesday lunch time.

Wanted to try the Brack Burgers and actually its great cos nice pub with plenty of space, not too busy when we went and Burgers were top notch. Halloumi strips and Loaded fries are great sides too. Would defo come back here to try some of the other ones on the menu 👍

This place offers the best burger in Kenton. I had a spicy chicken burger "Some Like It Hot", it was one of the best I have had recently. Furthermore, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is great, whether you are with family or you are just attending to watch a football match. There is a spacious parking area outside and a lot of tables to sit outside as well. I cannot wait to go back!

BRACKBURGERS - Banging!! They absolutely nailed the meal and for just shy of £15 in total excellent value for money... couldn't stop talking about how good it tasted Great friendly staff and owner/manager I would presume 100% recommend trying out they food here 100% would go again... worth the travel! Popped in on the off chance and was pleased I did. Service was perfect the full visit, especially the young lad with the coloured hair. Nothing was too much for him to do. Will definitely return.

Food is nice - staff are really lovely and. It’s great apart from the other clientele in the beer garden who think it’s ok for their mutts to run wild and piss on peoples coats and bags and not been babe the decency to come come and apologise.

Visited after work for a couple of drinks, went to toilet, no toilet roll in either toilet, no soap in dispenser. Considering covid, I find this unacceptable

My pal wanted to give this a 2 or 1 star – cus he was disgusted by the food quality. We had Sunday lunch – and I must admit it was mediocre. My Rib of Beef (see picture) cost £12; I could have bought two Big Daddy steaks from Aldi for less than £5 each and they would be miles better in taste and more value for money. The cabbage was not even seasoned and tasted really bland. The only positive is I enjoyed the Lime & Soda. Still – I don’t want to knock a business that’s struggling with COVID; I can only say that it’s a pub; what do you expect? It looks like the drinks is where it shines. Go there to drink – and not to eat. Ill give it a 3 - even though my pal says 2.

Entiendo que es domingo, pero tal vez si el personal hubiera mencionado la demora, podríamos haber tomado una decisión si nos quedamos. consultamos la demora dos veces, ya que a las personas que nos seguían se les servía un almuerzo dominical tal como había ordenado. Mi hija solo quería un sándwich de carne y papas fritas. El joven se disculpó y dijo que el sándwich no es algo que esté en el menú. Mi respuesta es por qué tomar el pedido si no hay bollos o pan. Extraño. El almuerzo del domingo es sensacional y no una papa de verdad. Muy decepcionante. Es una pena como una excelente ubicación. Una hora de espera no es aceptable

As this is a Greene king pub I thought it would be nice, however it’s far from that. Place could have done with a clean and the refurb has took the pub character out. Please inject some character.

It’s cheap and very fast service but the lady serving me ... well no smiles or happiness. The younger staff were far more enthusiastic. I’d been told it was great for kids and there is a large outside area, which I’m sure will be great. The food ... Nachos were covered and I mean covered in salt ! 4 teaspoons at the bottom of the plate. I told the staff. “ oh that’s strange “ but nothing done about it. Food is cheap there but I’ll never go back again.

I came here May 1st for lunch with my Fiancee and we were very disappointed with the food. We waited 15 minutes for our starter witch wasn't up to the price we paid for it. We then had to wait another 25 minutes for our mains witch again wasn't worth the price. We also had desserts witch were pitiful and our cokes were flat and watered down. I would understand if the pub was busy for our wait but there was only a couple of people in. As a Chef myself I know what customers expect and how long each item takes to cook. The Chef obviously doesn't care about standards or presentation either. This was the 3rd time coming here for food and was only happy our first time. We won't be returning any time soon either. Very Disappointing.

Visited this place one Thursday afternoon in December, for the first time even though it’s our local. Staff were all very friendly which is always nice, very polite. Place was clean, tables were clean, plenty of seating. We both opted for the new beef Yorkshire pudding wraps which were very nice indeed. Food did seem to take a little while to come out, but they were abit busy. Will visit again. Without a doubt.

Visited recently for our annual Christmas get-together with my family and friends. The management and front of house team were the perfect hosts as always. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly with the bar serving a wide variety of beers and spirits. We ordered food off menu which arrived quickly and was perfectly cooked. Compliments to the chef. Can’t wait to return.

Tarde tranquila. Buen tiempo, pero decidimos sentarnos adentro. Me dieron un cubo de pollo y cerdo el nugget sacó cubiertas patatas, mi compañero dio la New Yorker Pollo con patatas fritas. Las comidas eran muy bonito, aunque me pareció que las patatas fritas podrían haber hecho más sacó de cerdo en ellos como sólo había una pequeña cantidad en la parte superior de ellos, pero aparte de eso, todo era precioso y el personal era muy amable.

Although quite a different day was planned, circumstances changed and we decided to have lunch at our local. Although I've been before, I'm not a regular visitor, and it was quite some time since I had last visited. I went for the lasagne, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The manager served us, he has a great sense of humour, kept us smiling after a sad morning. It's what it says on the bottle, a local, friendly pub. Good food. Pleasant service. And managers little extras much appreciated.

Reservamos y vine aquí en el Día de Navidad para nuestro almuerzo, que es algo que yo estaba un poco preocupado, porque me daba miedo el ambiente no será tan buena como la cena de navidad en casa. No debería haberme preocupado en absoluto! Nos lo pasamos genial y una comida de 3 platos absolutamente deliciosa! El personal era increíble, muy educado y amable, y todo estaba servido en el momento. Comedor todos también parecía estar disfrutando de la experiencia. El jubileo se llevaron todo el estrés de hacer el almuerzo, que permite más tiempo de visita familiar y no tener una montaña de platos también fue una gran ventaja.

I had a fabulous Christmas meal with friends on 3rd December. Food came on time and was presented and served very well by the staff. I can recommend the 4 bird roast and the chocolate orange cake. Great value if you are looking for a staff meal.

My husband and I went to a friends birthday party. The atmosphere was excellent staff helpful and food was xcellent. Would certainly recommend.

Took my friends here who were staying with me. I recommended going here for food however when my friends food arrived wrong, the answer from the staff member was "you get what you ordered". Not really a great response even if my friend had ordered incorrectly. Which he didn't.Seems to have lost its motivation since the refurb, wont be going back for food for a while.

Recently visited for a gathering with mates! Been once before this a few months ago and it was perfect then, but this time round the experience was even better! The New food menu they have on offer was delicious and it caters for everybody! A whole range of different meals on offer! Along with that the atmosphere of the place was really good aswell, nice and relaxed and able to enjoy our meal with a couple of pints with no problem, not only that though, the staff were also very attentive and nice which topped off our journey overall! Will Deffs be returning very soon, recommend to everybody, not a bad would could be said!

Had a lovely family meal today from the new menu. My son enjoyed the double cheese and bacon burger cooked to his request followed by a chocolate brownie Sundae and I had the New York chicken dish. We regularly eat here and the food is always lovely and the staff are very welcoming.

I never go out for valentines day but this year when I saw the jubilee Menu I couldn't resist! Three course meal for £14.99! It also included a free glass of prosecco! I had King prawns with sweet chilli dip, Lamb shank which you could choose to have with chips or vegetables and for dessert summer berry crumble with custard. All three courses were delicious!

We've often passed this bar but never ventured in, but I'm so glad that we did eventually. It was a Friday evening at around 4pm and the eating area was virtually empty.The room was clean, airy and inviting.There was a great choice for the kids, not everything automatically served with chips, they had 2 choices for sides which suited them perfectly (one doesn't like salad/veg, the other doesn't like chips!)I liked that although there was the usual pub favourites on the menu, there was also a few different meals. I had chicken and chorizo with chilli jam on sweet potato fries, and my husband had ham, eggs and chips. Both were delicious and filling.The kids were more than happy with theirs, in fact deciding this was there favourite place to go for a meal.It was very reasonable priced too.The staff were really pleasant, helpful and friendly - even the kids commented on it.Overall, we will definitely be visiting here more frequently and I'll be recommending it to all of my friends. A lovely local bar with fab food and great staff.

The Jubilee used to be our local, we have since moved near Bishop Auckland, yet still travel all the way for the amazing food and fab service that the Jubilee has to offer. We often come for Sunday lunch with the family, and nothing is too much for the staff. Food is delicious and great value for money - where else can you get a 3 course meal for £10.95!! The lounge area is great for families or anyone wanting to just have a nice chat with a cosy atmosphere, or you have the bar area where they have live entertainment and quiz nights etc - something for everyone. I must say if you haven't seen the recent refurb of the pub, this is a must to pop in for a quick drink and see the amazing pictures, artwork & local history of the Jubilee Pit. It honestly doesn't look like the same pub!

The Jubilee is a wonderful family bar and restaurant. Serving beautiful food with friendly, helpful staff. You are always made to feel welcome. They also provide live entertainment. I live local and have always enjoyed visiting the Jubilee. Family friendly pub! We have food here each month and they have catered for up to twenty of us before. The staff are hardworking, friendly and always make sure everything is perfect. We have also had several parties here and they always create a brilliant atmosphere! I stopped off for a quick pint with my partner on Wednesday evening, there quiz was just starting so we decided to stay am pleased we did we had an absolute blast great group of people doing the quiz laughing and joking on with everyone there we felt at home and will defiantly be back next week...oh they also pull a fantastic pint

We have lived near to this pub for many years, and if we were going to visit a pub over the years this would be it.The current Manager has been there some years now and has constantly worked to keep it from becoming one of the many pubs now lost forever.Very recently, the pub was given a makeover which has made it into the best pub for miles around in my opinion. The same friendly staff, same hard working management, but now incredibly comfortable surroundings. And a really good, interesting, well priced menu. There are specials on a number of evening, including Steak Night on Wednesdays, 2 steak meals and a bottle of wine for £20.I went recently for lunch with my daughter and OAP mother. She had the pensioners special, I think it was £4.99 for main course, sweet, and cuppa or soft drink. She had scampi, followed by chocolate fudge cake and loved it. She did have the cuppa but it didn't stop her having a Speckled Hen too!We have also used 'The Room' for various family occasions over the years, my surprise 50th, daughters 21st, grandsons Christening, our Ruby Wedding, and sadly my dad's funeral, but each occasion the staff have been great and the buffet lovely.I could definitely recommend a visit.

Went here this evening with my family for a birthday meal. So glad we picked this pub. Frendly bar staff, good clean pub. Best of all was the meals we had, everything was perfect 7 main meals 4 kids meals all cooked fab. Then 4 deserts and 4 kids deserts, it's about time we had a good eating place on our doorstep!! We're definitely coming back!!

We often stop off here on our way home when we have been out on our motorbikes. Beer garden with lots of tables. Always friendly, good coffee and food great at very reasonable prices.PS Anyone with a motorbike - nice flat carpark.
