called in for lunch while staying at the hotel food was very good and nice surrounding they were due to close but kept the restaurant open so we could have lunch thank you

The Vane Arms is now doing breakfasts - and what a treat is was. We had the small breakfast which had everything you could want on a full English. The food was excellent quality, all cooked nicely, served hot and well presented. You can even specify how you want your eggs (we opted for fried). Best breakfast we have had in ages. Service was excellent too. This wasn’t our first visit and it won’t be our last.

Nice friendly establishment, staff are lovely people and food is great for the price. Would recommend to family and friends

Used to be excellent, not so now as overpriced it self. breakfast not good now Coffee not as good now. Used to be good for all ages but not now.

Popped in for lunch had hot roast sandwich with gravy. Was really nice would definitely go back. Friendly staff beautiful views of the golf course

This is the friendliest Costa I’ve ever been to. As I don’t live in Yarm, it’s not my local Costa, but every time I’ve been here, the staff are so warm, welcoming, courteous and will do everything to make their customers feel looked after. The store is the cleanest I’ve been to as well. Lovely.

Atmosphere was good but drinks are dearest in yarm.

food was beautiful, staff absolutely lovely .. could not fault the service or the food and my little girl loved the play area.

What a shame . This was my first trip out after lockdown . I took my daughter for lunch . The Houmous starter was average . The tagliatelle was okay but very basic and the garlic bread like a brick . We had to keep waving for service. All the staff were miserable. Asked if everything was okay as we paid . I fedback on the bread , no apology just ‘I’ll let the chef know’ . £66 not cheap for poor basic food . The whole hotel needs investment. It’s tatty and tired . Cracked dirty walls , stained chairs , chipped sinks and fittings in the spa. Such a shame as it has such potential.

Just enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch here. Meat was really tender and vegetables well prepared, cooked and presented. Really tasty too. All hot, and tasty. We will definitely return. Desserts were delicious, and service good. Really enjoyable. Xxx

What a treat. When one goes out rarely anymore one savours positive experiences and this certainly was one of those occasions. The rockbass was a new taste experience of the highest order and the steak was done to a T. Who says that chips cannot be a culinary delight - these were fantastic. Wont be long before we are back.

Had a standard parmo here a few years ago and it was absolutely amazing, had a hot shot tonight and it was even better. Absolutely amazing food without the ridiculously overpriced trendy restaurants costs. 5/5

Came in today with my mam for a mother and daughter afternoon . We both had the the braised feather blade of beef it was to die for, possible one of the nicest meals we’ve had in a long time, followed by jam roly poly and custard. Portions were perfect too, compliments to the chef for flavours and presentation. Also the staff are lovely too, friendly, approachable and couldn’t do enough for us. We will be back .. thank you for a lovely dining experience at the Falcon xx

As title says, with the lovely note that it's the only place I know in the area that has oat milk (and every other not milk milk if that's what you'd like). Great staff too.
