The best restaurants serving British food in Cathedrals Southwark London

Al llegar había una larga cola que acepté. Sin embargo, llegando al frente, la cola era solo para la barra de ensaladas. Cuando finalmente pude pedir un sándwich, pedí lo mismo que el tipo que tenía delante. Su respuesta “no servimos ese tipo de pan”. Todavía estoy confundido. It was a pub where you can enjoy great beer and delicious food in a calm atmosphere! I feel that this is an important place that has been loved by the locals for a long time, and I am sincerely grateful that they treated us very kindly even though it was our first time visiting!

Hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted. Amazing staff always friendly. Highly recommended

The staff were more interested on there phones then serving waiting customers, the food and drink was way over priced for what they served.

One of the best places I have ever eaten! So delicious and definitely recommend to everyone! Heading there this Tuesday for a family lunch ❤️🤍❤️

The managers were lovely but their was lady she was old waitress she had no respect and she was rude

I was there for breakfast at saturday morning. There were some people, but it was not overcrouded. Ordered a english breakfast and a cappucino. The coffee came to the table pretty quick. 10 mins later the breakfast came as well. Fungis and mashed potatoes were totally cold. The rest at the plate was handwarm. No toast on plate as well. Sad experience. There are better places in London to eat.

Awful service. Arrogant no words waiter. Took my card away did a contactless pay himself and came to our table and threw it in the dish.

Great small theatre venue that often acts as a stepping stone for acts to transition to the West End. Undergoing significant renovations as of April 2025 but theatre space still doing shows

Nice and bright restaurant in the middle of British Museum. It might have been bad luck, but my food (mushroom barley risotto) was too salty and had spent far too short a time in the pot.

We dined here in October having watched the series was very excited to try, we got there about 45 mins early (raining outside) was told by the groud floor receptionist of the Blue Fin Building we were too early and to get a coffee in one of the shops outside, but was letting people behind us sit down and wait, so we ignored her and waited, 15 mins later we were allowed up to the bar/When we went into the restaurant we were advised 2 of the chefs (Ping Coombes and Jack Lucas) we had paid to see had called in sick, we got the 2013 winner Natalie Coleman instead, she seems a lovely lady but when you are expecting to see all 3 2014 finalists it was very disappointing, they gave us her receipe book to recompensate, overall the food was lovely and would like to try next year hopefully with a bit more sucess !!

Elvis was a brilliant chef, super friendly and food was great! Had the daily special omelette with bacon and sausage.
