I recently had breakfast at The Table Cafe in Bankside, London, and it was a delightful experience. The breakfast options were excellent, with a variety of dishes to suit different tastes. Really nice place to treat yourself for a nice brunch/lunch. Sat outside for brunch in early March, the heaters were strong so it wasn't too cold. Service was great. I had the avocado on toast with the bloody Mary chutney - it was delicious.

Incredible brunch, we had a blast! The eggs benedict were delicious and we fell in love with the Chai Latte ☺️ The products are quality. It's not cheap but the brunch is worth it! We will come back 🙏🏻

I came here a while back as someone with coeliac disease since the restaurant mentions gluten free options on their menu. Unfortunately, when me and my friend arrived and were seated for brunch, we were told by our server in so many words that cross contamination WILL happen. I am grateful she was truthful and I understand that any restaurant that's not dedicated to being 100% gluten-free will carry some risk, but if there is this much certainty from staff over cross contamination then you do NOT actually have gluten free options. Unfortunately, I decided to take the risk as I was early into my diagnosis and didn't think it could be this bad if a restaurant is making a gluten free claim - and got very sick afterwards. My bad for trying my luck, but can confirm the gluten free options are a myth!

Top of the line for brunch. The Finger lickin chicken waffle is super good. Mixture of maple syrup and blue cheese sauce 🤩 homemade waffle.

Hoped for something better from this restaurant as it’s not one of the big chains that are so common in this area. While the interior is quite inviting with a cosy/casual feeling, the food was a real let-down. I had the Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken was very dry and flavourless; the salad consisted of a lot of iceberg lettuce, a few anchovies and clumps of Parmesan. If Macdonald’s did a Caesar, this would be it.

Delicious food - I highly recommend the waffles with eggs and chicken cutlet. Coffee is also great. Nice place, nice service. ♥️

I’ve been to this cafe twice now and absolutely love it! The table full breakfast is soooooo good, perfectly fried eggs with smokey chorizo beans, thick cut bacon and all the trimmings! Fabulous coffee, super cute decor and lovely atmosphere, totally recommend and will be coming back again! Our server they/she name began with S (sorry awful with names) was lovely and friendly! TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

The mushrooms in the full English breakfast were very well seasoned. That’s about the only good thing I can say about the food here. Pancakes were dense, cakey and overcooked. Bacon was like dried cardboard. Coffee was thin, watery and atrocious. Go to Black Sheep Coffee next door for truly awesome coffee. Don’t eat here.

Gluten- free pancakes 🥞 When you have allergies it’s a relief to find a place able to accommodate you. Great service and kind staff. The restaurant was quite busy but we were able to have a brunch without problem.

I don't know what all these 5 star reviews are on about. But, the coffee was absolutely horrible. It was worse than instant coffee. It came in a melaware container that wasn't even a mug or a cup. Their fresh orange juice is not squeezed on site. The staff confirmed this. I had the full English and my friend had pancakes. The bacon was leathery. The chorizo beans was a missed opportunity. I imagined it would be better than regular beans, but it wasn't. Just a little different, so it felt a bit unnecessary. The only thing that saves this review is the mushroom. It was perfectly seasoned and done just right. Their pancake was not very good and had a metallic after taste. My friend couldn't finish half of it. The staff wore regular clothes and so we didn't know if they were just customers mulling about until you realise they've been serving the other tables. But, they were nice enough. Totally not worth the booking or the hype or the overpriced menu. We had to go next door to the Black Sheep for our coffee.

Popped in as I was passing and was so pleased to see they have so many gluten free options! Staff were super helpful (especially the manager with gluten-free/ coeliac questions) and they are dog-friendly which makes everything better. The coffee even pleased my coffee-snob friend. Highly recommend!

100% worth a visit. We had a booking for 11AM and it was quite busy - it took us some time to be seated and it wasn't clear where we needed to wait. The food was amazing and the coffee matched the quality. Despite how busy it was the vibes were good and it wasn't loud or hectic and it was really easy to enjoy our meal. The staff were kind and attentive with the exception that we had to wait a fair bit longer than is ideal to ask for the bill.

Fuimos a un desayuno de cumpleaños y no fue una experiencia agradable. Entramos y preguntamos si teníamos una reserva, no lo hicimos. . había otros 2 en todo el establecimiento. Luego nos sentamos al lado de la puerta fría del personal que entraban y salían continuamente sin tener en cuenta que estábamos sentados allí. Asientos absolutamente ridículos. ¿Crees que con la mitad del personal mirándote mientras llevaban sus propios abrigos durante su turno pensarían dos veces en sentarte casi afuera? Mal. De todas formas... nos movieron de mesa después de decir lo fríos que éramos. Luego pedí el desayuno, ojalá hubiera mirado mejor antes de pedir un inglés completo. El tocino y las salchichas se cocinaron previamente apilados en recipientes de metal a la altura de la cabeza sin tapas junto con el tomate. Horrible. Nada fresco, sin sabor a nada y mientras comes el personal se para en medio del restaurante y te mira fijamente. Todo eso por 50 libras, nunca más. Terrible experiencia de desayuno. Evitar.

The food was not exciting and I did not like the drinks, especially the homemade hot chocolate that was tasting cheap and without whip cream. Moreover they seated me outside while another waiter accommodate another table that arrived after me without reservation inside. Price in line with the area but I have had better in other restaurants nearby.

The food was delicious and we liked you could change and adapt very easily to any requests and dr. Friendly staff. Only improvement tip would be spacing and noise. But this would not stop us from coming back! Can recommend!!!

Great place for breakfast. So busy at the weekend that we couldn’t get a table. No issue on Monday morning. Well cooked food with lots of choice. I couldn’t decide between a full breakfast and a waffle based one but really happy with my loaded waffle.

The cafe was crowded, which is always a good sign. We sat outside under heat lamps and that was ok. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. The prices were fair. Good location near the river. Highly recommended!

One of those busy, switched on places that are a success for good reason. It's a pleasure to eat the pucker tucker but also great fun to watch a Ferrari standard restaurant being properly driven. I get the feeling the whole think is held together by Celeste. That's what she says anyway.

Cafe closes at 4pm with last orders at 3:30pm but they allow you to make a booking for 3:30pm online. They also don’t give you the last order information till you ask them. They then proceed to stare and keep asking you to make an order multiple times. We ended up leaving since it didn’t feel like we would be allowed to enjoy our food, even if we were allowed to order.

Hosted our team’s annual Christmas Lunch at The Table Café and it was absolutely fantastic! Could not recommend this venue enough for private events. The catering was superb, FOH service efficient and friendly, very organised management team and the overall vibe of the event was spot on. Honestly not a thing I could fault - highly recommend 🙌🏻

The waitress and waitors we had were really lovely and provided good service and me and my mum loved our compliments we got from one of the waitresses about are Christmas jumpers. The food was a good quality and very tasty and I hope to comeback for another visit at sometime , as my first visit won't be my last! Am going to recommend this to my family and friends. The atmosphere was really good it was nice and cosy and it is located in a great place. Have a great Christmas 🎄

This place is absolutely fantastic and serves the best breakfast I’ve ever had when dining out. The Eggs Benedict is simply outstanding! It got quite busy shortly after opening, so we ended up sitting outside, but it didn’t take away from the experience. The staff were friendly, and the service was impressively quick.

Table Cafe is very popular for breakfast and brunches. It has less options for pure vegetarians. We tasted burgers, French fries and coffee. They have a good menu for breakfast. The burgers were good and the coffee too.

The staff is very friendly, the menu is of decent size, and the food is delicious. The price is about right. There is some nice vibey music playing and the kitchen is semi open which is a nice touch. I recommend making a reservation beforehand.

Had a delicious brunch here. Generous portions and all very tasty. They even gave us complimentary hash browns to apologise when my hubby’s Full English came a minute after my Breakfast Stack. Really not necessary but much appreciated. Would highly recommend (prepare to be stuffed when you leave! 🤪)

Super delicious brunch at a very reasonable price for the quality. Good range of vegetarian, vegan, lactose free and gluten free choices. Step free access also. This cafe is very popular and busy on Sundays so make sure to book in advance if you don't want to wait for 20 minutes or so. I will say that our meals came about half an hour later than others who came after us, but I think our order just got missed during a peak time. They were super apologetic and waived the charge for our food which is why they still get 5 stars from me. Will definitely be visiting again.

The food here was fantastic. There's plenty of gluten free options. I had gluten free waffles, and my boyfriend had a full English. Both were amazing. Hot chocolate was good, however, not suitable for children as it was quite bitter.

First time in UK so we really wanted to try English black pudding and Table Cafe did not disappoint and it wasn’t too oily and flavors were good! I had such a nice nice experience at this restaurant/ cafe. My waitress was very cheerfull and she knew the menu inside and out and recommended a few dishes my husband and I wouldn’t have thought to try but ended up loving. It felt like she genuinely cared that we had a good experience, and it made such a difference. Her name she said it was Amira. You can tell she enjoys what she does, and it really shows.

The Table is a very cute little restaurant, perfect for brunch. They offer a wide variety of pancake dishes, and they’re really great. However, my pancake had too many pears for my taste, but it was still very delicious. I recommend making a reservation, as the restaurant fills up quickly.

Couldn’t hear the person opposite me talking because they were dragging (yes dragging not lifting) all the furniture across the wooden floor to set up, presumably for a group booking throwing cutlery around a very noisy uncomfortable place to be. Service was extremely slow. Food portions were small so very overpriced.

Wonderful breakfast menu in very cool surroundings. The music selection is always fun too. The Stack and The Waffle are my two favourite choices but there is plenty of others to choose from. My breakfast location of choice whenever I stay in London.

Great food, really happy with our veggie breakfast and full English, the relaxed atmosphere and the friendliness of the waiting in staff was exceptional- we went for our daughters birthday and we were surprised with a little birthday cake treat! Really yummy! We took our 2 small dogs with us and they were made to feel very welcome by the staff who made a big fuss of them which was so nice ❤️ Really recommended

This was a find. Londoners queuing for their breakfasts. Our brunch was good, nice selection of grub, and the staff were eagle-eyed but unobtrusive. We booked, which is advisable on Sunday morning. Easy on the website.

The reviews are pretty good. The food was okay but not special. If you are looking for the food which will surprise you, this is not the place. I ordered Eggs Royale, and my friend ordered Long Weekender. For Eggs Royale, the salmon and poached eggs taste good, but the texture of muffin was a bit thick and dry. I had a bite of Long Weekender, and I think the waffle got wet too quickly because of the smashed avocado on the top.

Service was a little slow, but the food was amazing. The flamin chicken waffle was delicious! Very good place to go.

Lovely breakfast/brunch/lunch spot if you’re in the area. I had the ham hock & chorizo hash. It comes on a bed of spinach and I asked for a poached egg instead of fried, it was really original and delicious - the additions of the homemade hot sauces complimented very well and brought another subtle hint of heat on top of the chorizo. Highly recommend! Lovely waiters as well and espresso coffee was good!

Atmosphere and service were great. Food was not as much. Pancakes were not correctly cooked (raw and compact inside), bacon was served cold, not crispy.
