Lovely friendly pub offering Friday night pizzas from Ruperts Doughs on the Go. Always something special and different on the menu. Will definitely be going back for more!

Popped in here to celebrate St Georgeās day expecting a faux pie and mash experience but was pleasantly surprised. The seating is authentic - wooden benches with marble tables, the welcome was traditionally warm but most of all the food was exactly as I remembered from my childhood. Tasty pies, good mash, and lashings (thereās an old word!) of liquor. The menu also includes eels. The whole experience took this Peckham boy back to better days. Thank you.

We used Croft Tea Room to cater the finger buffet for our Volunteer Awards Ceremony, and the experience was fantastic. Louis was incredibly helpful, working with us to accommodate our budget, and there was plenty of delicious food for everyone. He arrived on time and even assisted with setting up the buffet. Overall, it was great service from a wonderful local business. Highly recommend!

We are regulars at this restaurant and we have recently celebrated our birthdays here. My 90th and my husbands 92nd. I was presented with a bouquet of flowers and my husband a tin of sweets. We were given a card that was signed by all the staff. This cafƩ is spotless, the freshly prepared food delicious sand inexpensive. the hospitality is second to none. In the words of the Tina Turner song "Simply the best". Thank you drawing room for making our visit so enjoyable. Pauline and Gordon.

What a lovely place for breakfast! The staff were really friendly and the coffee and bacon sandwich was yummy. There's quite a lot of choice in Orpington for breakfast, but I will definitely be going back to The Bakehouse. Great atmosphere and really clean. The coffee was served hot and was very tasty. The prices are really good too!

First visit. You have to choose what you want and then go order (and pay in advance) at the counter. My husband had egg and bacon toasted sandwich (Ā£7.60) and I had what was listed as a BLT... (Ā£6.45) plus a pot of tea for 2 for Ā£5, bring the total to Ā£19.05, pre-tip, which is a bit expensive in my book, but I don't mind if it's good. See photos of my so-called BLT. The photo of it less the lettuce looks a bit unappetising - to me at least, but just look at that lettuce which I took out of the sandwich, as I wouldn't give it to a healthy rabbit, let alone a sick one. Just truly awful. Limp, blackened, yucky, decomposing. My husband was disappointed with his sandwich, too. The bread wasn't up to much and suffice to say we shan't be returning. (Tea was fine!).

Went too the Oak for family Sunday lunch, they were very accommodating, as we had left it late too book a table for six people, we were seated in a nice area. The staff were-all very helpful & pleasant, nothing was too much trouble., for them. Our food was nicely presented, and more than adequate . Would highly recommend this pub , for lunch any time.

This has the potential to be the best restaurant in SE London, but there is a serious lack on ambition on the menu. I have been several times since opening and the food is always well executed, but the menu has evolved at a snails pace and is still essentially a gasto-pub menu. The dining room is well suited to a serve genuine restaurant food, or at least a more 'fine-dining' brasserie menu, which will make the place a destination. Unfortunately, the menu feels like it has been designed by an accountant, not a chef and this means the place won't attract local regulars, nor will it become a 'destination' people travel to. D&M was reviewed by a couple of national newspapers and the money spent on the building means it could become a real gem of a restaurant, but it is lacking atm. The staff all seem friendly, and a particular mention to Jamie, who tempted us to stay for dinner after enjoying a drink on the terrace.

My wife and I use Buddy's when we visit family in Bromley. It is the best place to eat for miles! We always receive a wonderful, friendly welcome from the team, in particular Tracey. The choice and quality of the food is excellent. Despite having an expansive menu, all the food is cooked to order, and served hot. They also do a great range of healthy options. It is extremely clean, and plenty of space to enjoy your meal. My wife and I highly recommend this cafe. Thank you so much for making our last trip so special, and hopefully, we'll see you next year.
