We visited this place lots of times ,there food is always well presented, hot and tasty. Staff always willing to help. 😋

Tremendous breakfast and great value. They were busy when we arrived on Sunday 15th Sept but quickly found a table. From taking the order to food arriving was about 10 mins but delicious and hot so you can’t ask for anything more than that. Cost just over £20 and being a regular eat breakfast out person is great value. Will definitely visit again fairly soon 😊👍

Lovely people run this cafe and the food is excellent. They have been there for quite a few years and they are always busy and I often see the same customers in there eating.

Popped in for breakfast with a friend and what a delightful place. Service, decor and food all perfect. Cleanliness was 100% including the toilet. Beautiful open kitchen. Breakfast was delicious, well cooked well presented and very well received. Service was flawless and someone here, knows what they are doing. The first of many visits for me. Thank you Wickham Cafe.

¡Pésimo! Dos visitas, la primera visita esperó 3/4 de hora, la comida era normal. Segunda visita, salió después de esperar más de una hora. El personal habla muy poco inglés. Realmente odio dejar malas críticas, pero sentí que tenía que hacerlo. No volveré ni lo recomendaré.

Have eaten here many times BUT NEVER AGAIN.Went there for breakfast and because we didn’t want bubble an squeak we apparently had not chosen one of their numbered breakfasts so therefore didn’t qualify for toast that was included if we had chosen number whatever that had it on there.Was told quite rudely you can pay extra for toast (what a ridiculous rule) When we payed we were charged the same as the breakfasts with toast included ‍♀️When we quite rightly said that you can’t do that was told very rudely well stay at home next time.Customer care is non existent. Only after making making money .My advice to all would be to either drive or catch a bus to Eden Park where there is a place that does an amazing breakfast all served up with a smile and FAR exceeds Wickham cafe that is a pretentious Place which is after all only a CAFE.

Service was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent quality and hot. Portion size was large (maybe they could do pensioners portions?). Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be returning soon.

We have eaten at the Wickham Cafe in West Wickham high street on a number of occasions, one of the best if not the best cafe in the area. Always great food, well presented and good sized portions. Recommended

Large breakfast portion, but bulked up with mushrooms and beans with small portion of egg.Tea with teabag in milk so very weak hot drink. Not the way to make English tea! All waiting staff were good except the older lady. She was grumpy when asked for menu explanation.I guess large filled plates makes it popular with average quality and service, if that's a preference.

Just had the Sunday roast it was amazing perfect in every level. Throughly recommendation. And a very reasonable price. Ignore the feedback about staff. Totally untrue they are polite and attentive

So rude the staff here and not only that poor hygiene noticed. Left vinegar spills on the table and wipe around the sauce bottles. Rag used was very dirty and stank of vomit. When I questioned why they clean around the sauce bottles as clearly I had witnessed this twice one of the waitress got very rude and aggressive towards me. All I did was ask a question. Never going back there again. Will be complaining to the council regarding the hygiene issues I saw.

Been going here for a few years now when I’m passing and not had a bad meal to date, customer service is always good and the food is very consistent.Today I met a friend of mine for lunch and ordered the homemade burger, my friend ordered the Salmon with mash and green beans, I don’t think you can find a bad meal on the menu. I estimate for a construction company and often stop for lunch on my travels and this is by far the best quality cafe food around and very reasonable.

Desde que renovaron la cafetería y se hicieron cargo de la tienda de al lado, muchas más personas en grupos grandes y familias con niños pequeños están comiendo aquí. Es muy ruidoso y comer aquí ya no es una experiencia placentera porque no puedo escucharme hablar con mi familia.

Realmente impresionado con este café para ser honesto! Muy buen servicio y muy bueno desde un punto de precio también. La primera vez que fui tuve la hamburguesa vegetariana y papas fritas. La hamburguesa no tenía un sabor grasiento en absoluto, ni tenía un sabor a aceite carnoso, así que estaba tan feliz. Las patatas fritas eran muy sabrosos y frescos y la comida se sirve muy caliente! La próxima vez que lo visité, comí huevos, hachís, habas y tostadas. Sugerí que ofrecieran una opción de salchicha vegetariana, pero no estoy seguro de si eso se tomó en cuenta. La comida estaba muy caliente otra vez. Los frijoles no eran de Heinz, pero aún sabían bien y los papitas fritas no estaban grasientos. En general, muy buenas experiencias y feliz con el servicio!

The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that I hit this restaurant during a very busy lunchtime and had a long wait for my food. The restaurant has a fabulous and varied menu and I had the Chilli Con Carne and it had a real bite to it. My wife had a chicken and pasta dish and she said it was really enjoyable. The menu is not only varied but reasonably priced and the helpings are large enough to suit any appetite. It always seems to be busy which must be a positive and I would advise to avoid lunchtimes as it becomes very busy. Well worth a visit

This cafe had a refurb' recently, they doubled the size of the place, and low and behold it's still always full up. It is hardly surprising they do a fabulous selection of food, mainly specialising in breakfasts, using good quality ingredients. I have had many a full english breakfast in here, and it is wonderful, great value, and loads of it. It is always full of tradesman, and they like their breakfast, so it speaks for itself. The staff are efficient and friendly, you can see them cooking your food, and they work so hard, how they cope I'll never know. I would recommend this place for a great breakfast, or fry up etc'

Haven't been here for a while do nice to see the refurbishment. Very nice comfy cafe with space between tables. I had the most delicious scrambled egg. Yummy. All other food ordered was excellent and the mixed grill was huge! Recommended.

been to this place so many times took my mum for lunch on Sunday ,very buzzy the place was pack, but staff made us very welcome ,sat us at a table around 5 to10 min , we all had main meals from roast to salmon ,ham egg chips large portions , all very good the staff work so so hard even though ,the place has been extended , thanks we will keep coming back well done to you all merry xmas

The cafe has just been overhauled and they have done a great job as always very friendly great food now with more space. I love the brekkies well presented and not swimming in grease the boys are doing a great job long may you continue. Jeff

Before ordering chicken curry we were told that it was mild. God it was too spicy. We could not eat it. On paying the chef said that he had tasted it and it was not hit. Very cocky and rude. Not acceptable behaviour will not go back and will also Tel friends to avoid. Very disappointed.

I had been to Wickham Cafe when it was a good old 'greasy spoon' but it seems to have gone outside its comfort zone.

This cafe is now open and bigger than before! bought the shop next door to the old cafe and its amazing, good clean atmosphere, the breakfasts are excellent and perfectly cooked, I have veggie breakfast, and its massive! gets busy early morning and midday, but worth going you usually get a seat.

Like lots of people I try not to many cooked breakfast but this place is definitely worth bending the rules for.

This, what was, a worn down cafe has now had a spruce up, it occupies 2 Shopfronts and is clean, great menu for all day eating , it has good greasy spoon favourites like bubble and squeak and black pudding. Reasonably priced and very busy which is an indication to how good it is.

We had a late breakfast at this place and it was excellent. Surprised when the food was served quickly.

I came here with my mother in law for a quick bite to eat. We managed to get the last seat and I can clearly say I was not disappointed one bit. The menu has lots to pick from. I had a latte and it was lovely and a cheese and mushroom omelette with chips and salad. My mother in law had the same. The omelette was packed with cheese and mushrooms and my mother in laws was the same. The staff are very friendly and happy. It’s all very cheap in price for the huge portions you receive. I will be making a return when it opens back up after its refurbished.

My wife and I try to use Wickham cafe once a month. The food is so good never had a bad meal. My favorite is set breakfast no 5. Just a great place to eat.

Large potions, very well cooked, friendly staff, always seems busy when we go in, sometimes you have to wait for a table, but the food is worth the wait.

This cafe serves food of a high quality. I go in there when i am in the area and i am never dissapointed. They Always have lots of lunch specials. This is not your ordinary cafe its a hidden gem. They should get a award.

Very significant portions of breakfast cooked beautifully. Poached eggs a little 'vinegary' but aside from this everything more than met expectations two days running, particularly as I was massively hungover on the second day. The only drawback is (and this goes for any caff, and can be quite amusing) the white van men outdoing each other with obvious fibs about how many speeding points they'd collected commuting to Bolton from south London every day to install something or another. Finding your choice of breakfast from all the combinations can be quite entertaining too. Oh yes, the froffy coffee is superb.

Full English. The first thing to notice is that the food is not swimming in fat and it is freshly cooked. My only gripe would be the sausage is not great. Sort that and it will be a perfect brekkie.

we have been going to this cafe for about a year i can't see why its not number one on trip. come on people get behind this place if you love it like we do. Right the place is alway clean food cooked to order place is alway packed when we go sat morning , the food is great all breakfast / lunch /and dinner / all home cooked puds with custard /.we are man and wife so don't think is just for the guys all are made to feel welcome keep doing what your good at and i am asking all your reg to vote for your cafe to best wishes tony and christine

Este hotel de gestión familiar Café es mucho más que una cafetería, esa palabra no hacen justicia a este establecimiento. Y amigos nos comiendo allí durante 6 años y ahora apuntamos a ir una vez al mes para una cena de asado o de un desayuno magnífico. Todo lo que puedo decir es que lo pruebes y te darás cuenta de que la comida es de calidad pero con un bajo precio final, son codiciosos hermanos y trabajar sin esfuerzo a favor. Todo un gran lugar para comer en cualquier ocasión. Sólo necesitan tomar el salto y comprar una mayor elaboración pero me atrevo a decir el ambiente especial puede no ir con él.

We three chums enjoy meeting for breakfast one day a week and we've been trying different cafes. The Wickham Cafe was voted the best so far. Breakfasts are substantial, really well cooked, well presented and good value. Cafe lattes are super. Can't fault this place.

Having eaten here and read the reviews I was shocked to see how low this cafe scored on the current food hygiene rating. The food was good and the place appears clean-perhaps it was down to food handling procedures? Shall not be visiting again until the rating improves.

Having written a review previously on this café I can still say it still upholds a position as being excellent value for money, with good service and good food, It would certainly be a good idea if they changed there daily lunchtime choices occasionally. As it is, If you are a 'regular' at the cafe you know before you arrive what's available. It has been the same since their opening! ratingJust one observation.No national hygiene rating sticker have ever been displayed on the window.

This is one of the cleanest cafes I have ever eaten in.The brothers are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. And the service is great. My favourite cafe in Bromley. I would totally recommend this place.

After travelling for 1and half hour me and my wife knew that was the best place to go for some food as we used to go there before moving to the seaside food and service are always excellent

I've been eating here for a few months now, usually once or twice a week, and I can't praise it enough. The staff are efficient and polite, and the food is presented to a very high standard. Tables are cleared quickly, they need to be, as there's generally some one waiting at peak times. Not a criticism, just an indication of it's popularity. There's a varied menu, fast service, and very reasonable prices. The people running this cafe deserve every success, because what they are providing is way above the average, in fact, if cafes had a rating this would be a 5 star.

This cafe had such a good feel. The service was excellent, professional and friendly both in the morning when quiet and lunchtime when busy. The food and the coffee is good quality. A welcome glass of water is provided each time and jugs of water with slices of lime are kept on the counter for refils - nice touch. Their attention to detail is very good. There are fresh vegetable to purchase and a book swap and, importantly, the music isn't too loud. Please open a cafe in Sevenoaks. We have lots of cafes, but none this good.

I've been to this lovely little cafe a few times and I've always had a very good experience. The food is always fresh and service you cannot complain about. Will be going there again soon.

Im a regular at this café - fantastic food (although me and my pal always go for the chicken escalope with pasta) . Cant recommend it enough and its a pleasure to see the chefs at work - really take pride in there work - they put most restaurants in the local area to shame - does get very busy so getting a table can sometimes mean a wait!

Had a roll in here while my usual cafe is closed and enjoyed it very much. Good sized portions with good happy service made for a good visit. Can be crowded when it gets busy as it's not that big but no complaints here.

In this small high St cafe there were about 12 tables plus a few on the pavement. As fast as one became free it was filled up. The service was brisk despite being so busy and I heard no complaints from anyone. The food appeared generous and everything cooked fresh to order. Value for money 10 out of 10.

After not visiting the cafe in a long time the wife and I decided to re visit an old fav we used to go to regularly.WOW it's even better. The tasty all day breakfast is very nice with thick cut toast and beautiful hot coffee.This small friendly family run cafe gets busy the good food and customer service is always going to draw people In and make them keep going back for more. We don't bother going anywhere else anymore as nothing else quite matches up for us.

This is probably the best cafe I've ever been to but to call it just a "cafe" is unfair as they do a large number of dishes in addition to the breakfast fayre. Everything I have had has been freshly cooked hot and very tasty.You can't go wrong in here.Highly recommended.

This was a great breakfast. Nice thick hand cut bread, bubble and squeak just right as well as the usual bacon, egg and sausage. Very friendly and helpful. The only reason it's a four star review instead of a five star is that yummy though it is it's still just a local greasy spoon cafe and I reserve five star reviews for somewhere a bit more special. Best breakfast in Bromley by far though.

I love this cafe! Its not just your average breakfast cafe it does a variety of dishes. The meals in there are amazing value for money I always have the chicken escalope spaghetti portions are huge and the for £6 you really can't go wrong. All food is made fresh in house. Absolutely love it!

Always go there for a late breakfast when I am hungry. Their set English No 1 is £4.50for what you get is 3 rashers of well done back bacon, 1 sausage. 1 egg, baked beans or tomatoes and fried slice but I opt for toast with no butter and a mug of tea!Very friendly and good service- never had a bad experience - best café around for miles and you can park for free in Sainsbury's opposite

The food in this place is unbelievable. These guys produce the best food I have ever eaten for the price they charge. In fact they produce the best foodi have eaten for,a great deal MORE than they charge. A greasey spoon it ain't! A top notch noshery it is!

Going to Cafe's to me is like finding that great Indian Restaurant, there are so many of them but so few are great and many are just so greasy and poor quality. There is an art to a great Café and the great British Breakfast and this place really impressed me today. For years I had been to the same Café in West Wickham but always found the food overcooked in cheap oil, it only cost £10 for the two of us so what could I have expected I suppose. We then in the last two weeks tried two other Cafe's in the high street the other end from ‘Wickham Café’, both were either not great or just ok but both charged almost £17 for the both of us which was expensive considering the quality.Ok Wickham Café from the outside looks like a late night takeaway /kebab shop but inside it was warm, clean, comfortable and inviting. The staff were very efficient and charming and the menu is very extensive extending from the usual breakfast menu to normal dishes like cottage pie, spuds and pasta.We had two cooked breakfasts, two teas, two toast. The food was very well cooked, no residue oil on the eggs or in fact any of the breakfast. There was also no cheap nasty bacon or sausages just a very well cooked tasty breakfast - well done Wickham Café, will be back every week now.Lastly it only cost us £10.80 for the two of us, what value could not believe it (would have paid more).

Probably the best cafe Ive eaten in and believe me theres been a few. Have gone through the whole menu over the the last couple of years with family and friends and we all feel the same that the wickham cafe is in a league of its own whether for a great fry up or something from the daily specials board. Home made coleslaw, gravy, fish cakes etc etc. Huge sandwiches,great roasts all great quality and very reasonably priced. Will be back whenever I can.

Our 2 youngest grandsons love going to Wickham Cafe.When ever we look after them for the dayits can we go to Wickham Cafe Nan and Grandad.

A brilliant café going that one step further from being just for fry ups...although they do excellent breakfasts. Well supported by tradesman and especially the local community. It is often difficult to find a seat after mid-day. There lunches are excellent. Fish cakes; Oven roasted salmon; chicken escalope; penne arrabiata; chicken curry; beef curry to name but a few. All come with a selection of vegs or salad. Presentation of plated food excellent. Owned and run by brothers from Eastern Europe. They work hard and efficiently and deserve every success. The one small criticism is that their 'specials' board never changes.Open 6.30am - 4.00pm M-S; 8.00am - 4.00pm Sunday.

Popped in here for lunch. Had to wait a few mins for a table as was so busy, but that can only be a good sign. Had egg, bacon, sausage, chips and beans with bread and tea for £4.90. Excellent value and tasted great too. Staff were very friendly and didn't have to wait long for food. Will be back here again.

This is a very small café, so make sure you get here early ! Excellent food, huge portions, quick friendly efficient service, very professionally presented. I always have a look at everyone else's plates to give me some ideas for next time ! I had prawns in a jacket potato and my son had burger and chips. Both were delicious. Would recommend.

What a surprise this was. In my quest to find the best local place for a fry up, I seem to have found it on my second go. I didn't rate The Point in West Wickham, but this is a different beast altogether.I ordered the Full English (bacon, sausage, egg, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, tomato, bubble'n'squeak, toast, coffee) at £6.20. First I got asked if I wanted grilled or plum tomatoes, and I plumped for plum. I asked for a black coffee, and unbuttered toast - both arrived as ordered. Already 3-0 to the Wickham Cafe over The Point! The food was cooked excellently, the bacon was of high quality, and the pudding was deliciously crumbly. Special mention to the B'n'S, it was superb. Only negative point was the sausage: a better quality sausage would have elevated this to the best FEB I've ever had in a cafe.Staff were friendly, place was busy on a Friday lunchtime, and the non-breakfast menu looked good. I had a look at some of the other diners' plates - big portions! I will return.

I've lived locally for many years. This is the best fry up for breakfast in all of London and the most reasonably priced. My children love going there occasionally for lunch of burgers and chips and I go there on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The place is always full which is a testament to how popular Wickham Cafe is with locals. It is clean and small. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I love it here.
