We are very lucky to live so close to such a great pub! Thai Tuesday and Pizza Friday’s are great! Friday Fizz at the Freeland at the FT is the best with family and friends. Barry the Barman is the BEST as are the owners Val and Mike x

Great local pub with friendly staff Landlord and landlady very welcoming and food on Tuesdays and Fridays is very good!

We have been here several times and love the pizzas. They taste authentic, with thin sourdough basis. They have several pizzas to choose from including specials. Additionally, they do cheesy chips and garlic bread. Very nice. Would definitely recommend.

Great pub where you feel as part of the family. The Pizzas on Fridays are great, I like the Colombian which is based on a Colombian typical soup. The New Yorker is a deconstructed burger on a pizza and many more!

Fantastic pub, really friendly, brilliant customer service, great pizzas on Fridays - we were visiting from New Zealand and will definitely be back!

Great fresh pizzas on a Friday and genuine Thai food on a Tuesday! Great drinks throughout the week served by Barry the Barman! Landlords friendly and so are the regulars!

Great local pub with a friendly atmosphere. Loved the pizza too, best I've had in a long time! Make sure you get the honey chilli oil, its delicious!!! Thanks for making us so welcomed :)

Didn’t answer the phone even though I called 8 times on different days over different times of day, didn’t respond to my email so naturally I couldn’t simply turn up with half a dozen family could I? Rude, unprofessional.

We went to this local pub on a Friday night and both ordered pizza. They were both delicious home made delights. The barman was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great. We had a lovely evening and would highly recommend it.

We've just been to the Freelands for the first time tonight for the Thai night . We had the fantastic prawn tempura which was absolutely delicious and my husband had the pad Thai ( he was very quiet so I guess he enjoyed it) really nice atmosphere created by the landlady/landlord and the effervescent barman :) really nice evening thank you ( I hear they have pizza night o Fridays)

We have been to the Freelands a few times now, including the really nice Thai night on a Tuesday and the fantastic pizzas made in the kitchen by Rupertini on a Friday night. Really good singer on Saturday night . What’s not to like about this little gem ? even the bar staff are a jolly bunch

Lovely local pub. Great friendly bar staff (shout out to Barry). Regular entertainment and a great atmosphere. Special mention to Don Ciccio’s Pizza who offer excellent in-house pizzas - cooked to order with fresh ingredients. Landlords are a couple of character s who cannot do enough to make your evening perfect. I’ll be back

Just moved into the area, there is a choice of 5 pubs that we could easily walk to. Tried one and was underwhelmed so on to the next which was the Freelands Arms and had a great experience. Good beer and great pizza with friendly service, recommended highly.

Wow, oh what a night. Had a fab time meeting up with friends at The Freelands Tavern. The landlords were welcoming, bar staff professional and friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for our get together. Great entertainment and the pizzas were delicious too. Would highly recommend this pub.

realy nice little pub with the 'jollyest' barmaid. Nice couple own the Freelands and lay on regular musical nights. You must try the fantastic pizzas

I’ve just had one of the best pizzas ever! Made from scratch by their Sicilian chef who proves his dough for 23 hours so much easier on the digestion. It was stunning!!

Bar staff and food were great! Beer garden was perfect for a sunny Sunday Roast dinner great day out with my family

This is my local and it has changed hands. Had a brief chat with the new incumbent. Always a strain when you take over a new place. Good to see pie and mash advertised outside - but not so good to see dead flowers in the hanging baskets. Take them down please and put up some new ones! Looking forward to seeing how it goes.

Came in for pie & mash that we’d seen advertised. There is a sign as you come in that says “the little pub with the big atmosphere’ and it certainly lives up to this. The pie, mash & liquor was delicious and excellent value. The staff were really friendly. The pub has recently changed hands and the new landlords make a big effort to make everyone feel welcome and have lots of plans including live music and more food. Highly recommended.

Distribuir de un viejo amigo en el Freelands en vez de ir a nuestro pub normal, ya que tiene buenas críticas en Tripadvisor. Oh cielos, gran variedad de cervezas, pero no hay comida disponible Sábado almuerzos, así después de un par de pintas que suspendimos a otro local del año 1.913. Supongo que tendremos que intentar hacer una semana para nuestra próxima. Nos quedamos con ganas de probar la comida ya había oído críticas estupendas y había comido en nuestros pub del actual propietario varias veces. No importa el Londres Gloria es una gran cerveza!

Visited for the first time today for Sunday lunch. A really nice pub. The food was excellent (4 x roast lambs) and great desserts (apple crumble and custard). The staff was extremely friendly. Good value for money. Certainly worth a return visit.

What can i say about this pub, made some amazing friends in the last 2 n half years whilst visiting.. Had to review this pub again just because of all the amazing memories made n moments shared here. When me and my husband go for a drink or food here its not like any other pub, its like going to see family.. With their amazing atmosphere and fantastic staff it really is like a second home. The days you dont feel like drinking alot and that u just want company nd someone to talk to, this place is the one to go to. Freelands for the win!!!

me and my partner brenda have used this pub on many occasions when we are in the country, this is a great pub with plenty of things going on the landlord greg and his lovely wife lisa always make us welcome would highly reccomend

The Freeland's has now become our favourite local pub. Really nice family-run hostelry with good food reasonably priced. Spacious garden and the interior has what I call a 'proper pub' feel to it.

Teníamos unos 70 amigos y familiares unirse a nosotros para una fiesta para celebrar nuestra boda y el equipo dio todo lo que pedimos y más! Teníamos libremente creando nuestro menú, Lisa era realmente servicial aconsejándonos y la comida era excelente - una mezcla de tradición inglesa y Picante Oriental. Las chicas de detrás de la barra era eficiente y amable, el personal creado un gran ambiente: diversión y relajado (con un montón de baile fiable!). Todos nuestros clientes pasamos una noche fantástica - enorme gracias por todos tus esfuerzos!

Really nice family run pub, made to feel welcome. Food prefect, nicely cooked and well presented, nothing too much trouble. Lovely garden to enjoy a nice summer drink Look forward to returning soon.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere, friends staff, good ales and really tasty food. Pretty cheap for London aswell. I would recommend the home made pies

Llegué con bastantes amigos y unos cuantos niños al abrir y nos dieron la bienvenida. nos había llegado para comer y algunas bebidas. Bonito lugar! Presentable y limpia, con órdenes rápido y preciso tomadas por personal sonriente. La comida era razonable, sólo comida simple hecho justo. Caliente y recién preparada con el pensamiento de condimentos necesarios y cubiertos antes de la comida llegó, que es muy que aprecias. El alcohol es un precio medio, con vasos limpios y una pequeña selección de aperitivos para el hambre. en general muy contentos y volveremos con amigos de nuevo seguro.

Recientemente fuimos a la freelands en un capricho tratando de encontrar otro pub en el área local, muy satisfecho de haber encontrado este tesoro escondido en las callejuelas de Bromley, los propietarios son amables y nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos y el personal del bar están más que dispuestos a servirle con una sonrisa. Magníficamente limpio y cuidado, con un pequeño sol tomar jardín ya estaban ansiosos de volver a probar su asado el domingo como los que vimos parecía ser llevado a mesas encantador. Recomiendo ENCARECIDAMENTE PUB:)

Just had an excellent roast at the Freelands Tavern. Friendly service, really lovely comfortable pub and the food is great. Choice of 3 roasts, pudding and starters for less than £14.95. What are you waiting for.....

Made a Sunday visit to the freelands tavern in bromley north after being recommend by close friend. .what a lovely surprise !.. superb homemade food in a warm welcoming environment at reasonable prices . Well worth a visit

Popped in for a couple of ales on Saturday evening.Good choice of ales and all tasty.Staff knowledgable.Food on offer really reasonably priced and tasty.Pub is surprisingly large and comfortable.

Visited this pub for Sunday lunch, We were a table of 9 and the food was great,.The waitress was very attentive and all in all it was a great afternoon.We will visit again soon.

I cannot praise this venue enough. Always a wonderful welcome, great food and atmosphere. Always great charity events organised ,day trips for customers. Food always excellent and good prices. Beautiful secret beer garden to the rear.owners and all staff always welcoming . This pub is a true oasis .

Such a lovely pub nd great atmosphere. Friendly atmosphere n food n drink served with a smile. Came in with my fiancé on many occasions, yummy food always leaves me satisfied.

Absolutely love this pub - always greeted with a smile and friendly bar person..they also do brilliant food and Sunday roasts are amazing! Wide variety on menu! So reasonable too.Always a good night to be had here. Show all sports from football to racing to boxing - also has a darts board and team playing. Been to parties here too both on new year eve and over Xmas - such a busy fun atmosphere! The owners are lovely - can't do enough for you. Heard in summer there is a nice garden out back and they do bbqs so defo going to one of these! Brilliant pub!

While flat-hunting I wandered into the Freelands Tavern - did they do lunch? I was given a delicious salad and invited to sit in the bar, side room or the garden. There I met the landlord who was tidying some plants and happy to chat about the area. We shook hands as we parted ..... now I live down the road, this is my 'local' and I take my visitors there.
