Sublime, possibly the best restaurant in Wells. Seasonal seafood with an ever changing menu. Kelly is amazing, so welcoming and knowledgeable. Our daughter is Coeliac and she ensures that her experience is as fabulous as everyone else’s. It’s always on our list for any trip to Wells.

Read about The Parlour in a local “Foodie” magazine. My wife and I aim to try as many as possible. We arrived having not booked, it was full, but a small table for two was available, we accepted it. Looking round the building it is an old brick built barn beautifully restored, tasteful and had a very nice feel. The menus arrived and clearly a lot of thought had gone into it. I opted for a king prawn lightly toasted baguette my wife who is not a big eater chose mozzarella and mixed tomato salad with pesto dressing. Both meals were excellent. Looking round at other diners it was clear everyone was enjoying their food. Full marks to the owners and staff for creating something just that little different.

A really interesting low circular building overlooking a wetland habitat, owned and run by the Holkam Estate. There's a large covered but open area with tables and chairs and a smaller enclosed café serving good filter coffee and a range of prepared on site light bites sandwiches, pasties and cakes. Not cheap but good quality. The rush and reed drinking water fountain in the middle is a functional masterpiece. The information boards are very helpful outlining what can be seen and why. The big carpark is a couple of minutes away and the beach is perhaps 10 minutes off.

Our Scooter Club meets here on Monday. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. It's a handy spot for us as it is mostly central to all our club members. We we often get a complimentary tray of thrice cooked chips, which is nice. We are looking forward to our Christmas bash there too. Other clubs also drop in for a drink and a chat.⭐️🤠👍🛵

Called No57 now. It was strange and it’s a long time since I came across something similarly. The coffees were all poor versions of AMERICANO COFFEES to start with. So a flat white would be with froth on top, a Cappuccino would have sprinkles, Latte extra milk. Awfully. The tuna sandwich was very good and the bread very fresh.

Fabulous Sunday roast, really delicious. Was a bit unusual with good flavors. The staff were very attentive, we where seated by the maitre (Nicola) to a lovely table- she went out of her way for us, even though she was very busy; she checked that we where happy later on. It was a great atmosphere and we felt very looked after.

Got seated immediately which was great, that’s kind of where it ends! Waited at bar to place order for too long and although drinks came straight away they were drank up way before any sign of food. Had to chase food due to long wait times just for three light bite plates! When arrived I was so disappointed with size of portions which is a shame as cod bites and chips were very nice just a very poor portion as plates used are just too small, so not good value at £8.60. We felt absolutely ripped off, 25.40 for two drinks, plate of chips, light bite cod bites n chips and light bite sausage n chips! Would not return or recommended and was still hungry!

We know this part of Norfolk very well as a holiday spot. We have been coming to the Victoria on and off for years. It is now a hotel that serves lunch and dinner NOT a pub. We booked Sunday dinner and I was happy to find that despite an 8pm. table there was still roast beef available. It was delicious 😋! Good portion of medium rare sirloin accompanied by crispy roast potatoes, a fine Yorkshire pudding, a good assortment of vegetables and cauliflower cheese. A few years back I rated a bunch of places local to home and I think the Victoria would have only been beaten by Cliveden We did have room for pudding and thank goodness we did. The rice pudding was spectacular! Unusual but inspirational flavours. The staff were happy and attentive. We took our well behaved dog and saw a couple of others in the restaurant. We chose to come here as it’s dog friendly. Perhaps ask for a quiet table if you’d prefer not to be around dogs when you eat. Overall highly recommended and excellent value. Thanks all.
