Called No57 now. It was strange and it’s a long time since I came across something similarly. The coffees were all poor versions of AMERICANO COFFEES to start with. So a flat white would be with froth on top, a Cappuccino would have sprinkles, Latte extra milk. Awfully. The tuna sandwich was very good and the bread very fresh.

The wife and I visited this delightful tearoom where we had two scrumptious Crab sandwiches which were generously filled and garnished with salad and two very tasty coffees, Mocha and Cappuccino. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following day for more coffee and two delicious and freshly homemade cakes ( see image) highly recommended.

Not entirely sure why they have to have the air con belting out such cold air all the time, but the welcome was about as a cold as the rest of the place Wasn't pleasant weather out and wanted somewhere warm to sit for a while and read my book. This place looked inviting enough...but looks can be deceiving right? It was so cold in there and I almost didn't stay No welcome to speak of. Only tea was on offer. Also had a sausage roll which was thrown in a microwave to warm it up...was tempted to ask if I could join it! Teapot and cup and saucer thrown onto the table. Sausage roll followed soon after with a knife. Give it two stars as the food was passable but other than that this is a cold and frosty offering that should quite frankly just slam the door in your face if they don't want you there Didn't finish my tea as wanted to go back outside to warm up

We arrived as a four, the last table of four was right under the aircon unit which apparently couldn’t be switched off despite it being freezing cold. People who came in after us also didn’t want to sit there! We also weren’t greeted with even a basic ‘hello’ or ‘take a seat’! The menu had good options and allergies were taken very seriously. But then our toasties took half an hour to arrive after the person making the food had run out of the cafe to the sister cafe down the road. Food was average, not worth the price really. Bread was dry. All in all it was a bit disappointing and we expected better after reading the rave reviews. We won’t be returning.

A lovely quaint little tearoom. The staff were lovely and polite and cheerful. Service was quick and very attentive. The food was incredible and great produce and the coffee great quality too. Will definitely be visiting again. If I have one tiny criticism it's that it could do with a little touch up in regards to the decor as it looks a little worn in places but it's got a lovely atmosphere and perfect little tearoom

We would have loved to have lunch here but unfortunately my sister became unwell just outside the tearoom. The staff were lovely especially Christina. It was obvious very quickly that my sister was about to pass out so she created some floor space and got her down and into the recovery position whilst I phoned for an ambulance. She temporarily closed the cafe to new diners, whilst she recovered. After around an hour she was feeling much better and as a second phone call confirmed there was no first responder or ambulance available we got her to the car and home. Thank you so much to the staff and very patient diners. Next time we visit Wells we’ll try a real visit. Thanks again to the staff.

We came to Mrs B's tea rooms after searching for somewhere to have a cream tea. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and their scioche scones were delicious! All of us felt that their cream teas were so much nicer than the place we visited two days prior, who were one of the top places in Norfolk, known for their cream teas! Can't wait to revisit next time we come to Norfolk, this will be at the top of our to do list.

On a rainy summer Day in July while walking around Wells By The Sea we spotted this little quirky tea room As we are Mr and Mrs B we decided this was an ideal place to shelter - oh and it was 11am official cake time 😋( to be honest anytime is cake time😁🧁🥮!!!) With its harlequin tea sets, large selection of home made cakes and scones and many other delicious things this was indeed a classic top notch tea shop 😋 We had a warm welcome and the service was friendly and matched the quirky tea room vibe. We both had delicious cake and the apple and ciniman cake was outstanding and very delicious It’s also dog friendly and our dog Mutley managed to scrounge a dog biscuit as well!!! A great little tea room worth making a trip to for top notch cake and a warm friendly welcome

We have been here several times since it opened and had always rated it with five stars. Fast forward to 7/7/23 and downgraded to just the one star. We went in and took a seat at a table for two. The lad "serving" has no idea whatsoever the basics of customer service. No acknowledgement when we sat down - right next to the counter where he was standing - and was then faffing about with the till and other things. Then a woman came in after us, marched up to the counter and was served with a take-out. Then he ventured around the counter and cleared up three other tables before resuming his position behind the counter. Then he asked, very abruptly, "Got any allergies ? I replied that we were both allergic to chilli and then asked for two crab sandwiches and two drinks. He then disappeared down the road to their other shop to go and get some crab meat - their usual procedure - and when he came back he said it had chilli and paprika in ! My wife asked if they could do our sandwiches without either and the answer was an abrupt, "No". So after several years of loving this little place we walked out and went elsewhere - never to return !

Popped in during a visit to Wells during Covid restrictions and social distancing was in force. Staff were excellent and a charming young lad sorted our order with no problems. Cakes were excellent and Teas and hot chocolates equally so. Recommended

We managed to come for afternoon tea just before lockdown number two and it was fantastic. All covid-safe measures were followed and the food was top quality. I had crab sandwiches which were delicious and all the scones and cakes were really good. I would...

So annoying when cafes market a crab sandwich but really it’s just a brown paste. Not exactly cheap anyway, but I’d pay more just to get a half decent amount of white meat. It was instead just a brown paste.

We came in for Lunch today and want to start off by saying that the location is idyllic, the food is delicious and most of the staff are wonderful. However, our meal was completely bulldozed by one member of staff (don’t know her name, elderly, black hair, heavy makeup). Not only would she not leave us alone for the duration of our meal which was very off putting, she proceeded to try to force feed me mushy peas using a dirty spoon off of the floor. At the end of our meal we were sitting and enjoying our drinks when she then took them from our table, we were considering getting coffees but felt very pressured to leave after such disastrous service. We are honestly embarrassed for you at No 1, that kind of behaviour was not very becoming at all…. What would have been the perfect meal out ended up being a complete nightmare.

Stayed for one night, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean , light and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice of freshly cooked food, cereals, pastries and fruit. Will definitely return and would certainly recommend staying here

Sadly the food didn’t match the lovely welcoming service. Sunday lunch was expensive - £20 for a trio of roasts. The veg was odd - leeks and carrot with some very hard brocolli. Overcooked roast potatoes and parsnips. Potential to be a nice Sunday lunch but needs a fair bit of work. £20 is a lot for a toast but this place really cannot justify the price, sorry 😔

Over priced! £11.95 for toasted sandwich that came with small side salad, small pot shop bought coleslaw and handful chips. Had bacon and brie filling with so much cranberry it tasted more like jam sandwich. With a coffee each bill came to £33. Most costly lunch I've had for ages. Won't be rushing back.

Down in Worstead on wee business trip, asked about possibility of lunch nearby and were directed to the White Lady. It was around 14:30 on a Sunday afternoon so expectations weren't too high (would have settled for a sandwich...). Friendly welcome, assured food would be no problem and we're given 3 menus! We're invited to sit anywhere we chose so opted for window seat in dining area to rear. We both opted for Sunday roast topside. Absolutely fantastic. Beef cooked to perfection, awesome roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud, came with glazed chantenay carrots, buttered green beans and zingy red cabbage, jug of lush gravy and topped of with dish of unctuous Cauliflower and cheese (each by the way). Thinking about making the 3 hour drive again just to have that experience again.
