The best restaurants serving British food in Harlow East of England

This is my local coffee shop , all the staff are friendly and a real community feel . Great coffee and great cakes .

I visited the Cannonsbrook Golf club on Friday. For a quiz night for a local cat charity. A nice venue to spend the evening, a nice bar with friendly staff. And the grounds were very nice, with plenty of parking. They also serve a Sunday lunch, although I haven't tried that. But I've heard it's good.

Wonderful service as always staff and students very polite and friendly. Food was superb steaks were absolutely amazing. Had a lovely lunch with our daughter. Highly recommend and such great value.

Went here for a breakfast no salt or pepper or any thing on tables paid £9 for a breakfast no tea or coffee inc was very basic food and not much of it. I have had many breakfast.s all over and this was the worst so far

Lovely relaxed meal. Menu had lots of choices, everything ass beautifully cooked and service impeccable. A really enjoyable evening.

What a friendly warm inviting public house you must try it

Lovely meal, great service from Emma! Bacon and cheese burger was delicious… topped off with Cherry Bakewell… and custard!

Asked for a large chips with no salt. Got a regular chips if that with salt. Won't be going there again. £3.85 for nothing, you get double the amount in most places.

Visited for birthday lunch. Had the new Sunday Sharer which was a 10/10. Jason our server was also a 10/10. Look forward to coming back.

Stopped in for a couple of drinks. The decor is quite dated and seats torn etc. The draft beers had a funny smell, so switched to bottles. Intended to have a bite to eat, but was put off by the dirty tables and general uncleanliness.

Very nice pub restaurant lovely food . We had a roast dinner and a monster burger delicious.

A family lunch turned into an embarrassing experience. Freezing restaurant with warm air blower’s randomly placed on the floor around the tables, starters was OK, BUT it all went down hill from there. Mix grill, sausage half burnt half raw, steak completely inedible as tough as old boots, one solid fry egg one half cooked. Fish & chips, fish batter was still very wet on the underside and the fish was completely tasteless. Veg lasagna had no taste at all, very odd. While waiting for mains to arrive we observed the chef scratching his ear with no gloves on then handling food… After a very disappointed meal we waited what seemed an age just to pay the bill.. This restaurant has not changed since our last visit a few years ago, it’s terrible..

Find a nice table, if you don't want to go to the bar to make an order just use the app, all you need to get started is the table number 😉 they have meals with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks 🍸
