Took the family for dinner here twice during our stay in great Yarmouth, the food was fantastic and the staff were brilliant and extremely reasonably priced (I'd have paid double n still been happy)

Being from London East End it is so nice ro see a real pie and mash shop, pie are from one of Londons oldest pie and mash shops and are amazing. Nice and clean place and always a friendly service, I always make this my 1st stop when I go to Yarmouth. Amazing good quality food at reasonable prices

I have had numerous excellent meals here in the past , have held birthday and anniversary functions and I have always been more than satisfied. Today I attended a function and was extremely disappointed. My boeuf bourguignon consisted of one small cube of meat and after complaining that was increased to 4 and 2 others on the table were served 2 cubes and the portion sizes were very small. The menu planning was poor with anyone having the melon starter and chocolate brownie getting 2 servings of raspberry sorbet. The apple crumble was anaemic and looked as if it had never seen an oven and had a powdery texture described by some as having no fat in the crumble mix. Overall, especially with the good reputation of the hotel, the meal was very poor.

Have admired the outside terrace with its glass balustrade on a previous visit to Great Yarmouth, but hubby unsure if they’d allow dogs. Upon asking, was told that not only are dogs welcome on terrace, but they have their own designated room! (Paws on the Pier). This is a very classy, beautiful area where you can chill with your doggy or dine. The bar has a basket offering fabulous doggy snack (the scampi fries and the cheesy hamburger treats were big hits with my two!) The bar is absolutely stunning, deep mahogany carved mermaids nestle against shiny mirrors and optics behind the bar. Professional and friendly staff welcome you and there are lovely locals who are chatty rightly proud of their pub. Our first visit lead to a few more during our holiday! This venue is a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by whilst sipping a beer or one of the many cocktails! Didn’t dine, but always next time!! Visit here. You won’t be disappointed!

This is a place we've been for lunch every time we have a holiday in Yarmouth, the food is always lovely and well with the money. Their mushroom soup is very nice so creamy and well seasoned and comes with a huge crusty baguette and salted butter, the other half always has the paninis would definitely recommend this place for a bit of lunch

Should have known when I walked in and a full English was left on a table. Glad I ordered the small one as once I spotted the hair on the toast plate I was done.without the hair the food was terrible. They forgot the tea. Went to the shop over the road for the bread, the guy mentioned earlier still has that dirty hoody on with the Hole in it. Was without doubt the worst breakfast I've ever had anywhere, and I've had some bad uns. Absolutely avoid at all costs. I did tell them about the hair, met with a shrug of shoulders and an OK,sorry.never ever again for me. I'd give zero if I could. Went back to the digs and had some cereal and hair free toast.

So disappointed in this place now Used it a lot a few years ago when the original owners ran it Now it is run by other members of the family Two rounds of plastic cheese on toast slapped in whole rounds on the plate no garnish no finesse Small cappuccino finally found the coffee 3 quarters of the way down and the cost £11 What a rip off the place was nearly empty that says it all Always full before first and last time in a lot of years that I have been there never again
