Looking for a place for afternoon tea whilst on our holiday we discovered this hidden gem! Had pre ordered an afternoon tea for 5 and it was all ready when we arrived. It was amazing - sandwiches were lovely and fresh and there was a big platter full. Scones were beautiful and light I had the coffee and walnut cake which was delicious. Even the smallest eater in the group cleared her plate! Loved the quirky decor (especially the tea cozies) Fantastic value for money and staff are really friendly and welcoming. Somewhere I would definitely come back to.

I had an amazing slice of GLUTEN FREE CAKE from lillie's, rang a head of time to see if they sell gluten free cake the ower said yes. Well i was not disapointed the best i have EVER had. They went out of the way to prepare my GLUTEN FREE afternoon tea, made to feel welcome from the moment you walk inside.

Came across it by chance in one of Yarmouth’s little ‘Rows’ and was very lucky to do so. The ‘Afternoon tea’ was amazing. Although you’re supposed to order in advance, due to the range of options, the owner was good enough to prepare one for us. Sandwiches, sausage rolls (hot) scones with strawberry jam and cream, plus two generous wedges of home made cake ...the salted caramel was delicious...and refillable tea and coffee. Served with a smile and humour. A credit to the owner and definitely one to go back to and recommend to others. Don’t miss out if you’re visiting Yarmouth in the near future!

We were wondering around and spotted the little alleyway in which Lillie’s is situated. Frankly, we were desperate for lunch and a coffee. Boy, does Lillie’s fulfil both of those needs. Plus: a friendly relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We didn’t have room to sample the homemade cakes, the toastier filled us up. Have to try those next time.

As other reviewers have said, it's a great place with a lovely owner who bakes gorgeous cakes and produces tasty light snacks ( and thank goodness, no chips or fried food so you don't leave with your clothes smelling of fry!). The ambience is very welcoming, and the regulars are friendly and happy to chat, or not, as you prefer. Also, welcomes dogs whilst maintaining spotless hygiene and a cozy atmosphere. The best place to visit after some shopping or wandering around the market and historic part of the town- it's located down one of the very old Rows that run off the market place. I love it. Highly recommended.

We often visit Great Yarmouth for the day and always struggle to find somewhere to eat in the town that doesn't feel a bit 'Grubby' and/or overpriced. Following a recommendation from a friend we decided to search out Lillie's. What a great place! Slightly off the beaten track Lillie's really is a hidden gem. Great food and service in a very nice setting at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

Stopped here for a cuppa and cake - such a great find. Really welcoming and friendly. All of the cakes looked tempting but went for the carrot cake and it was scrummy, one of the best I've had. Proper cup of tea too. Lots to look at, quite a quirky place. It was a perfect stop after a day of walking. Highly recommend it.

Lillies is an eclectic little cafe in The Rows just off the market square. I found it last time I was in Great Yarmouth and went back today to enjoy the hospitality and the good coffee. There is always a good selection of cakes and snacks hot and cold. All items are home made and served with a lovely smile. the prices are very fair and filter coffee comes with a free refill. The decor is fun and the chairs comfy.I can recommend it if you want to capture an intimate feeling of being in Lillies sitting room.

After visiting Yarmouth for a few years we came across this hidden gem today in Market Row. It was warm cosy and inviting the decor takes you back to a day gone by. We had lovely hot tea served in individual teapots and alovely cup and saucer. There was a nice choice of cakes we had Victoria sponge which was moist and delicious. We were made to feel welcome by the owner who has a genuine interest in her business and her customers. The customers were warm and friendly this is definitely a place we will be visiting again. They serve sandwiches baked potatoes toasted sandwiches and there are other snacks available all very reasonably priced. Overall a very enjoyable experience do yourselves a favour and pay this place a visit you won't be disappointed.

Passed by Lillie's today and popped in because it looked inviting - and it was. The cherry Bakewell tart was excellent and the owner and her family were so friendly. I loved eating off a pretty plate too. Not normally open on Sundays so we were lucky and will definitely go back. Cakes are home-made - except for the gluten free one.

Very unique and friendly tea house. A beautiful change from the sea of generic coffee shops that proliferate our high streets. All this topped off with relaxing decor and personal service.

Enjoy good company from Steve who serves you at your table or chair ( which are really comfy) .It is a tea room so only one coffee option but it is good coffee. The cakes are amazing and homemade, his toasties are yum too . If you want to relax and chill ( like home from home) go to Cobbs .

Delicious homemade cakes. I had the lime & coconut which was as wonderful as I had hoped it would be. I loved the tea menu - so many to try. I ladored the decor which is elegant, slightly quirky and beautiful (check out the loo! If they hand out loo awards, give one to Cobb's). But best of all is Steve's warm welcome and friendly chat. If you are finding Great Yarmouth a little overwhelming, escape here to feel ok again.

Once again, the best burger there is. I've had them in stacks of places but this is the best you can get. It's so delicious. Their other dishes are great but this is sooo good.

Good service, only one beer on tap, food was only ok. Chicken kebab was dry and rather plain, needed spicing up a bit. Overall ok, but that's the best we would say.

Visited for a meal on East Anglian Derby Final night. We were put in a hospitality box downstairs but had the same service/menu as we would have had in the restaurant upstairs. The food quality was absolutely superb and the portion sizes were generous (I had previously felt they were a little sparce) Waitress service was good and the fact that we got our own drinks and had to go to the bar to place our bets was a plus rather than a negative particlarly as previous experiences were that the tote operator didn't always make it round everyone upstairs. Only negative is that starters/dessserts are not included in the price when you book. I appreciate it kept the price down to £25.99 but would rather have paid £35.99 and had a 3 course meal. Surely it would be more profitable for the stadium as well? After all, it was sold out.

Took the family for dinner here twice during our stay in great Yarmouth, the food was fantastic and the staff were brilliant and extremely reasonably priced (I'd have paid double n still been happy)
