Quayside Plaza in Great Yarmouth

Once again, the best burger there is. I've had them in stacks of places but this is the best you can get. It's so delicious. Their other dishes are great but this is sooo good.

A rather beautiful place I would have loved to have eaten at had i not other arrangements so I can not rate the food on this occassion. This is a lovely venue not to be missed but instead worth a visit. So charming full of character with an air of elegance. A place for a date or take a friend or a mate Cosy, with a great menu and atmosphere.. Lovely coffee and worth a trip.

Celebrated a birthday with a table of 24 people, they catered extremely well, food was amazing, so were the staff, very attentive, very friendly. Would definitely recommend, everyone enjoyed themselves. Thankyou

This restaurant was an unexpected surprise. So much choice on the menu. Great tasty food, well presented and plenty of it. I actually could not eat it all. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only slight downside was that we were at the table at the side of the bar where people pay. I suppose they are limited to space. Book this restaurant, you wont be disappointed.

Never been before. Booked a table. On arrive seared quickly. Very small table but managed. Food was spot on and service was fast. They were short staff but you not really know it. Had the steak which was cooked to perfection.Juat as I had asked for it. Would go back there again.

Visited last night for my Husbands 70th Birthday. Our party included 2 children. What a lovely experience great food great staff lovely atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening thanks so much.

Having driven past this restaurant so many times and not even realising it existed, I was excited to see what it was like. The food was amazing, the customer service excellent and the atmosphere was fabulous. I will absolutely be going back again! What a hidden gem!

Unexpected delight on the otherwise quiet riverside. The Halloumi salad was truly tasty and my other half’s egg on sourdough loved tempting. Great service, very quiet so lacked atmosphere. Would recommend.

The food from here is some of the best I've eaten. It is presented wonderfully inside the cartons, and tastes amazing. And the portion sizes are perfect. Enough that you are comfortably filled, but not too much that any food is wasted. 10/10 would recommend

First visit to this lovely restaurant, we had heard great things and it did not disappoint, the service and food was 1st class. Mediterranean style food at its best! I had sirloin steak with Piri-Piri prawns for mains after it was a lovely surprise for the Chef to send waitress out with some more prawns, as he wasn't happy with size of the ones on original plate. This wasn't expected but they were very much appreciated! Great value for money Will definitely be back and will be sharing our experience with friends and family. What a gorgeous little gem! We ate here on Wednesday 26th June and it was absolutely delicious. The range of drinks was great, as was the service (loved our attentive but not intrusive waitress). The food was absolutely outstanding and a lovely way to spend an evening. We will be back. P.s, as a lady I need to mention the loos which were squeaky clean and fresh with lots of soap and dry towels 😁

Justeat didn’t deliver my order, my only guess is he went to the wrong address, no help from the restaurant other than it’s just eats problem and I need to contact them, no offer of rectifying the problem because as the lady said they haven’t even got the money from my order yet, I was told the drivers mark food as delivered when it isn’t because of their time restraints so to wait and see if he comes, they were completely unhelpful, won’t be returning

Great location on the historic South Quay in Great Yarmouth.Feels like a Parisian bistro with genuine surroundings.Fantastic fresh tiger prawns ,lovely douro wine and service-we went on 26 June 2024 and we will be back in November! Just go !!!! Chris and Lisa , Nottingham

One of the best steaks I have tasted. Food was amazing. Very friendly staff, and very helpful. Prices £27.00 for piri piri surf & Turf steak, very reasonable.

We have been here on many many occasions and book well in advance as it gets busy, the service on the 15 th June was horrendous , the waitress was beyond awful, 3 times to get one drink right , a glass of wine instead of a bottle, the wrong main course and when told her we got the reply of well it’s all chicken, eventually the right main course arrived but not until my husband had finished his . It was a real shame

The best hidden gem in the area! Restaurant quality food at great prices. Honestly it's gorgeous! Everything from the burgers to home made chips, the chicken stroganoff, the side salads, the desserts. Can't recommend this place enough... both eating in and the takeaway.

Took my wife here for birthday lunch . They had put up happy birthday banners for her . Food was lovely especially burgers and fish dishes .

Despite being next to the town hall, there is plenty of (free) parking alongside the South Quay on the opposite side of the road. There was lots of choice on the menu and the food was amazing. The cost of our meals was very reasonable also.

Booked a table for two over two weeks ago and tickets for the Spanish Galleon on Quayside at an extra £30. Now been told they cant accommodate,as they would rather take a larger function booking. If you book here expect it to be cancelled with no compensation.

They have cancelled my booking, as they would rather have a booking for large function that evening. Lost my booking and the cost of the tickets for the Galleon. NOT HAPPY. Book elsewhere as this restaurant does not honour your booking!

Incredible find. Such a warm welcome, friendly hospitality, great quality ingredients and varied menu of interesting options. Apparently the team have been there 14 years, so we're only sad we didn't know about it until this weekend. Definitely worth the short walk across from the seafront for an excellent meal. Well definitely be back

Salad was bland with no olives or dressing but rest of the order was lovely

Seasoning not top tear but it was alright I guess+ portion was small, can’t change salad for other sides.

Delicious food and excellent service

Absolutely adore this place. The chef is topnotch and the menu is superb. Dishes have you rolling your eyes in the back of your head. Don't hesitate. We love getting from here and honestly for the quality and taste, the price is nothing! Our favourite place to eat in and out!

Brilliant full English with decent ingredients and friendly staff.

Lovely food and great vegan options. It is very popular understandably so, but just be sure to reserve a table and expect busy atmosphere especially on Saturday evening. I will definitely be returning ☺️

The meal we received was absolutely brilliant! We will definitely order from Quayside Plaza again, it was late arriving but this was due to the delivery company, the food could not be faulted, I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant, try it, you wont be disappointed!

We have eaten in the restursnt a few times and always enjoyed the food but unfortunately tonight it was really disappointing :( the bread was burnt and the curry was cold and tasted very, very milky.

After speaking with Dan in the furniture shop side of things, we visited and had a great evening and a fanatic meal. Unfortunately we can’t comment of deserts…. As we were asked by three different waitresses if we wanted to look at the deserts menu and after saying yes three times and still not having been given the menu to look at , on the fourth time of being asked we asked for the bill, paid and left. However, despite this we have put this down to it being busy and we will visit again and hopefully have the chance to try deserts too !!

Great service and a fine selection of food to choose from. Original and well presented meals in a nice large ceilinged room. The room suits the food. The waitress was charming and efficient and drinks were reasonably priced with a decent choice. Shall be going again.

Amazing lunch! A lovely warm welcome and beautiful Surroundings! The wine was amazing, I had tiger prawn salad and hubby had cod with creamy leeks and pancetta, both were absolutely superb!! Would highly recommend this place. All the food we saw coming out looked fantastic.

I've never had anything but great food from here. Their burgers are the best. The meat is cooked perfectly and there are lots of vegetables plus delicious sauce.

Unbelievable starters some olives in a garlic marinade and some nice warm bread with the most beautiful garlic butter I ever tasted! For main I had the classic burger which out of hundreds I tasted is right now top one for presentation flavour tenderness all you want in a burger! My partner had the Portuguese speciality little French was she was so in love with it that she is trying to replicate the sauce at home!! For desert we had slice of homemade carrot cake and chocolate fudge and again top quality! Service is as good as you can get the space is lovely warm and welcoming top 3 restaurants I have been definitely the best in Norfolk

I don’t usually write reviews but really had to for this one. Absolutely amazing food. Was nice and hot, tasted delicious and on time. Heaven on a plate! Drink was super tasty too. Will definitely be ordering again!

It is not the fault of the restaurant l, they were lovely and kept in touch with me. Just Eat had no drivers turn up for collection. I ordered at 17.53 and I'm sat here at 20.22 still with no food. I called the restaurant again and spoke to a lovely lady who informed that the chef is now leaving off and will deliver my food personally. This is not acceptable Just Eat and I will expect a full refund from your company...not the restaurant

Not anywhere near as tasty as it’s been previously. This has been one of my favourite meals from the Quayside Plaza for a long time and it’s normally packed full of flavour, but tonight it just tasted like chicken pieces in plain cream. Not sure I’ll bother again. Such a shame.

We decided to try Quayside Plaza solely because they have the best gluten free menu we've seen. We weren't disappointed. Quite an extensive menu with something for everyone. The wine is reasonably priced (which makes a change). We went for an evening meal, but they are open during the day for coffee/lunch etc. The food was delicious. And plenty of it. Magda is a charm. The perfect hostess. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Great little place that we recommend you check out when in Yarmouth. Will most definitely be returning.

Hidden gem!!! The lady of the house is a marvelous host, taking time for her hosts. The chef brings Portugees touches with delicateness and local produce. A perfect marriage of southern cooking skills and local top produce. We had great meals during our 20 days visit in England, but this was the best. Thankful for that! Rudi and Christine from Belgium

This gem was a bit hard to find as it is currently covered in scaffolding while the outside is being renovated. The food, ambiance and service were all excellent. A great menu - we actually opted for the vegetarian, not that we are vegetarians - it just looked so appetizing. They offered to make mine non-dairy because of lactose intolerance, and used soya cream very effectively. Highly recommended - £25 per person all in for a very nice and filling hors d'oeuvre and a great main course. Highly recomended.

Had a lovely meal at Quayside Plaza this week. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was very attentive. Had a fabulous evening and would definitely go back!

Visited here with my daughter and grandparents two weeks ago and wanted to say how impressed we all were. The quality of the meals was of very high standards all round and presented excellently too. Home made desserts were amazing also and I highly recommend the mixed nut frangipane! Everything is very reasonably priced, the service was on point also. It's a place where you can dress smart casual or wear formal and you will not feel out of place. If anyone has a special occasion coming up it's somewhere I'd definitely say is worth bearing in mind, you will not be disappointed. From start to finish, even the coffees to conclude, it all made for a great evening out and left us all with good impressions. Can't wait to return. Thank you Quayside Plaza.

Visited Quayside Plaza for lunch with family and wasn't disappointed . The sea bass was beautiful, as was the coconut cream caramel. Nothing was too much for the waitress. By far the best restaurant in Great Yarmouth.

Excellent food and excellent quality. Sadly driver attitude telling us we should have met him at entrance was not appreciated. We gave full address have had other deliveries without problems. If he got lost he should have rang! Needless to say he did not get the tip we had ready!
