A really good restaurant right on the seafront

First time at Chicos and I can honestly say the meal I had was absolutely perfect, I had fillet steak and hubby had fillet of beef stroganoff,, the beef just fell apart, staff were very welcoming, very clean restaurant, Definitely will be booking again, thank you Chico, Maxine and all the lovely staff for making our night so perfect, see you soon xx

Food was basic but cooked perfectly and was tasty, restaurant itself felt like tables are too close together. Staff were friendly but I felt a bit rushed by them, as soon as mains were finished we were given the dessert menu. Overall food was good but expensive for what you get, and for the price I’ve had better, so wouldn’t be my first choice to go to again.

First time me and my wife have been here. Was made to feel welcome. The staff were polite and helpful, food was 10 out of 10. (Not small portions) Would definitely come back again and will be recommending this place to friends and family A+++

We had a lovely meal here. Dog and child friendly. The staff were lovely and looked after us well. The seafood was perfectly cooked - moist and tender but a bit too much garlic in everything. We thought it was a bit pricey for what you get.

Lovely family run Greek owned restaurant right on the seafront. Excellent Filet steak perfectly cooked, great wine list, huge desserts and yummy after dinner boozy coffees. Lovely service from the "family" who works here and enjoys what they do. Such a gem!

Milkshake was the best part of the meal and the tickets you get great way of getting people in staff are also fab

Nice place for fresh seafood and infamous tomahawk steak. Corridor seating is a bit of a squeeze for 4! Started with a very nice prawn and crayfish salad.. Quaintly served with olde bread and butter.. Portion was large enough for main meal, even without the bread! We followed with whole lobster with garlic sauce. Very fresh and topped with more crayfish to give you more to eat. Perfectly cooked. Although we felt the garlic sauce was quite overpowering. Tomahawk steak, was very good. Again comes with garlic sauce and a side of pepper sauce, onion rings and chips. Although not mentioned on the menu. Lobster price appears to be seasonal as the price for us went up by £10. Despite the extra cost and generous lashings of garlic sauce the food was of a very high standard. And we certainly will not be seeing any vampires tonight .

Incredible food; so fresh and tasty! They were so welcoming as we had a dog they gave us a table in the front. Food didn’t take long at all to arrive and when it did it didn’t disappoint, some of the best seafood I’ve ever eaten! Well done Chico’s and thank you for your kindness and patience following our visit to you last night!

The old adage, you get what you pay for is definitely true in this restaurant. The food was exquisite, the service spot on and the total experience was great. Out for a meal with good friends. The two ladies had the seafood sharing platter and we both had the mixed grill. All cooked to perfection. A good range of wines, beers and spirits from the UK and Cyprus. Not the cheapest, but definitely worthwhile and value for money. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic place to eat very varied menu. deserts was out of this world attention to detail 1st class very child friendly ate there 2 nights running couldnt do enough for you staff very friendly who made both my boys feel welcome and attentive to there needs would highly recommend and will be going back again when we are next in great yarmouth Keep up the great work

Went there with family based on very good reviews. Two of three meals were very good but the one I've had wasn't good. It was a pork kebab : pita bread wasn't warm and pork was dry, hard and slightly cold. I didn't like it and I expressed that to the staff. I regret that I should say something straight away instead of waiting till the end. Anyway I paid full price even though I think I should get the discount or not be charged for meal which went to bin. This place isn't cheap so I would expect more professional approach.

Went for the first time got seated nice staff lovely atmosphere in there. We ordered our food and it was nice and hot when it arrived , We had cod which was lovely size one had steak which melted in your mouth and a cheese burger but not in a bun but in pita bread which was lovely 😊lovely meal all round we will visit again .

Good portion sizes, hot dishes, wide range of cuisine,good staff treatment.I’m very pleased with my visit.

Everything is prepared with care, tastes delicious and is obviously very fresh. You might be tempted to go for the fish and chips, being on the seaside, but I highly recommend trying the BBQ chicken wings with their home made sauce. They’re lip smackingly spectacular. We enjoyed everything that we ordered and would love to visit again if we’re ever in the area.

Honestly. CAN NOT RATE HIGH ENOUGH. Amazing prices, portions, hospitality & menu variety! The mussels where fresh, steak cooked perfectly to request, kids meals where amazing value & the baileys cheese cake is to die for. Eyes defiantly bigger than my belly but totally worth it!

Just had an amazing meal @ Chico’s. We had the Chico’s special seafood platter. The quality of the seafood and the dish itself was absolutely superb!! Could not fault it. The staff were amazing too! I would highly recommend them. They’re awesome.

Had a lovely meal of grilled skate with lemon butter sauce and Greek salad. Beautifully cooked fish, fresh crispy salad and very generous portions, it was delicious. Service was friendly and professional and the bill was very reasonable.

Visited Great Yarmouth at the weekend and went to Chico’s based on all the amazing reviews. It did not disappoint! Food was incredible and service was amazing. The only slight complaint I would have is that the food took almost an hour, but it’s understandable since everything is cooked fresh and we ordered quite a lot! Therefore that won’t affect my 5 star review. A little pricey, but totally worth it! The atmosphere was really great.

Don't miss the opportunity of having the best GreekCypriot food I've ever had! Chico hails from Nicosia and his food is a serious standard equal to anything I've had in Cyprus or the other Greek Islands we've visited. Fabulous!

Please go to Chico’s you will love it. Firstly the staff are so welcoming and kind, we didn’t have a booking and they managed to accommodate us during a busy time. The staff were attentive and friendly and I cannot fault the service. At first glance at the menu it starts to look pricey, your mind starts ticking over .. is this going to be another over priced restaurant? Am I going to feel mugged off when the bill arrives? Is the food really worth this much? Well you absolutely get what you pay for. The portions are hefty and everything is packed with flavour. And most importantly EVERYTHING seems as if it is cooked fresh. Yes you have to wait a little longer but it’s a small price to pay for such a memorable meal. My partner had the big boy mixed grill with a creamy peppercorn sauce and I had a sirloin steak with a king prawn topper and garlic butter. Both meals were absolutely flawless! We will definitely be returning!

Wow wow wow. been waiting to come here for awhile and wasn't disappointed at all! I follow Chico on facebook and always dripping over the photos! Well today I finally got to try for myself. We had two sharing platters. Meat and fish. Was so tasty enjoyed the whole evening 😊 Definitely will be returning to try the lobster 🦞

This was probably the best Seafood plater that has ever passed my lips. Delicious on a whole new level. Staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for squeezing us in on our Anniversary, We will be back soon as we simply must try the whole menu.

Had the full lobster sharing platter and it was faultless. Everything cooked to perfection and lovely dining space with lovely staff, it was worth every penny. We didn't book so we were lucky to get in. Well worth a visit when you are in great Yarmouth. In short just great sea food. If the owner reads this, thank you for a lovely meal.

We choose Chico's to accommodate a table off 13 people celebrating our Grandson's 17th Birthday! Being fairly local travelling from Norwich, Reading the existing reviews! Found the Service was very good from friendly staff, Food was OK, but, not worth top prices we paid! For instance, £11.95 for a King prawn starter consisting of 4 x prawns! We had idea of this before ordering it! T bone steak was OK, cooked well, not very tasty in our honest opinion. We have paid good money for good food in lots of different restaurants, in many areas of our country, unfortunately this time we were overcharged for the quality of food given. The menu price does not reflect on the food you are served. I am a great believer in you get what you pay for! (but not this time) unfortunately Chico's did not live up to our expectations! We will not return.

Visited Chico’s restaurant today (saturday 2nd July) We was booked in for 5pm , on arrival beautiful greeting from all the staff & manageress , service was fantastic from start to finish by all the staff including the chefs as we were leaving they all checked in on us to make sure we enjoyed their food . We was a family of 5 and from starters to mains all was perfect . Service was 5⭐️ All round , And the Resturant manageress takes pride in her restaurant it’s obvious to the eye how clean this place is, and standards are high . Thank you all for your service today , we definitely will be back again soon. Steve

The food was absolutely amazing and delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were really friendly. I'll definitely go there again.

I'm a good cook myself and it's very difficult to impress me. However, food at Chico's restaurant today was absolutely amazing! People who run this place are professionals, and chef is unquestionably a Star! We live in Maidstone but booked a table in July for our next visit in Norfolk. Well done!

I took some visitors from The Netherlands and they were very happy. Nice cosy atmosphere, good food snd service. A little cramped and a bit dated, but still decent.

First time dining at Chico's Restaurant and I can honestly say I have nothing bad to say. Very attentive staff, fantastic food and very nice owner. I would highly recommend and will be returning.

Great service and beautifully flavoured and cooked food. The staff were very friendly and attentive and went above and beyond. My husband ordered a T-Bone steak medium rare and it came out slightly too well done. They were very apologetic and cooked another one straightaway which was served within 5 minutes. The steaks were melt in the mouth and so tasty. I totally recommend this restaurant but make sure you book as it is very popular! We will definitely be coming again.

A typical Great Yarmouth city centre restaurant offering all the favourites. Good Central location along the waterfront. The whitebait starter was delicious and perfectly cooked with an almost tempura batter. My garlic chicken mains was good, steady fare, while the plaice was simply enormous... in fact too big except for someone with and enormous appetite! But lovely and fresh. We didn't order steak but from what we saw, it looked amazing.

A first visit for us and what a top night we had. The food was amazing !! We had steak which was cooked to perfection, lamb Kleftico and monk fish with king prawns from the specials board which was so delicious.One of our party is gluten free but this wasn't a problem with lots to choose from.Staff were lovely really welcoming and friendly.Great portion sizes which meant we didn't have room for desserts but saw others peoples and they looked great.Prices are reasonable for the great fresh quality good you are getting and the menu choice is huge !! We will definitely be back ..........

Popped in to Chico’s tonight and had an amazing meal.My partner had the Calamari and I had the Taramasalata for starters both we good sized portions and tasted amazing.We both had the mousakka for mains which was the best I have ever tasted. We had my parents golden wedding meal at Chico’s and we were all well looked after with good food and drinks all night, my parents have not been out much since covid due to being concerned but the said they felt comfortable at Chico’s with the screens and staff washing hands and masks being worn thank you Chico’s

We arrived at Chico's to a very warm welcome. There was a party of 18 of us, pre booked of course. But not a sign of a flap, all food was served in a timely fashion, Hot and tasty. Great Service, Fantastic Food and Atmosphere.

Table of 5 booked 12th January.When we arrived they asked if we were celebrating, we told them it was my son's birthday. We were shown to our table then the staff brought my son a birthday balloon Very nice touch, much appreciated. My tomahawk steak and my son's fillet steak and lobster were absolutely cooked to perfection. Fantastic. The other meals were cooked to perfection as well.All tasted lovely. Visited Chico's for the second time with a couple of friends and they did not disappoint. The fillet steak was cooked perfectly, it was beautifully tender. (Medium rare as requested) The couple with me had the special seafood platter for two which had so much on it it could have fed the whole family comfortably, it was all cooked perfectly and we definitely weren't stuck for choice. Service was impeccable, the team are really lovely and go above and beyond for their customers. Already planning my next visit!

Pub grub with Savoy pricesMussels in white wine sauce were awful plenty of them but smothered in what looked like double cream, so rich i could only eat 7/8 of themLobster was unrecognisable in its shell, couldnt work out what was the meat & what wasnt. We were served peppercorn sauce in a soup bowl!! 2 of them to be precise. Nobody got the steak they asked for, complete mix up.Would i go back……….no

Booked this for a birthday meal 2 adults and 2 children. We were made to feel safe and welcome straightaway with a separate greeting area, sanitiser, sectioned off tables even though the restaurant wasn’t big in size. Children were well entertained with the chalk and slate placemats/coasters, great idea! Kids had chicken and chips. We had the seafood platter and both were utterly delicious and plentiful. We were too full for dessert!
