Not the best I've been to and I've been to a few. Maybe an off day.

Absolutely wonderful food and staff, value for Money was definitely made here. The staff were friendly and attentive. I was asked about allergens and nothing was to much to ask Thank you for a wonderful meal

A great place for our "veterans breakfast". Shame it's being closed soon.

Decided to try the festive menu. Had to wait about ten minutes to be served despite other staff being about and it was very quiet. We chose the salmon. It was nice, but the broccoli was replaced by soggy spinach and no one mentioned it. I don’t think it’s worth the extra £2.49 for the salmon over the other festive menu items. The after 8 sundae was nice. All the fizzy soft drinks are zero sugar. So update for Mother's day. The roast was a very good deal and I had a code for one to eat free. It seems difficult to get a table for more than 7 people. If you have a baby/toddler don't put them in the reservation.

Food was okay, service was terrible we booked a table and was told we didn’t have a booking when we got there, We had booked through the Premier Inn next door with the meal deal offer. I will not visit this place ever again.

Regular customer but I’m tired of the bad service when I visit with my kids. For example, I visit for the “all you can eat breakfast” but I am told I only have 45 minutes to eat despite arriving at the restaurant at 8am and buffet ending at 10:30am. I questioned this with the staff member and I overheard him informing a colleague that he was “irritated” simply because I challenged their 45 minute “all you can eat” blunder. The staff member in question is male, approximately 5”7 height, has tattoos on both arms, short shaved hairstyle, and a black beard and moustache.

Poorly cooked and presented food. The steak was poor quality but beaten into second place by the cooking of the steak. Clearly the chef had no clue regarding how to cook to medium rare. Won’t eat steak there again. As the meal was purchased by a family member I couldn’t make too much comment at the time and so emailed customer care. Worst reaction I have ever experienced when commenting about a less than adequate meal. They clearly just pump out pre-prepared paragraphs to customer concerns and have no intention of dealing with the actual points raised.

On arriving it said to wait and be seated but nobody came so we looked round for somebody and 2 female members of staff were stood talking Long wait for our meals and it wasn't very busy.Had to ask for our desserts as nobody had come to clear the table.The last time we visited nobody came to ask if the food was OK.

Great prices and great food and kids eat free for breakfast.

Staff shortages meant a long wait for the food to be served but the staff were extremely friendly, food options good, price was great and everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

Stayed at the premier inn this weekend for our 33 wedding anniversary. Had our breakfast at the Brewers Fayre for 3 mornings and it was excellent. Staff was very attentive but one lady that really stood out to us was Jojo. What an excellent member of staff she is. Didn’t stop working and covering so much with the restaurant especially as was so busy as the breakfast rush and a very busy bank holiday weekend in there. She was exceptional and so friendly and welcoming. Stopped her as we was leaving to pass on our thanks and she was so chuffed. Credit where it’s due and Jojo certainly deserves it. What a legend and asset to your establishment.

Brewers Fayre Review: The sooner this place closes, the better. What an absolute state! The disinterested staff couldn’t care less, making the experience even more unbearable. They don't even bother to honour their own offers, and it seems like they’re always out of everything. The place is dirty and unkempt, leaving you questioning the hygiene standards. It’s clear this establishment needs to shut its doors for good. Avoid at all costs!

The creamy chicken and ham pie is absolutely amazing. TV was on and volume up but couldn't hear much as music was also playing. Staff very friendly for a Sunday evening. I liked this place.

Went here while staying at a local holiday site. Greeted on entry and was able to order promptly at the bar. Food came out quick and was all tasty and waitress was friendly.

It's a fantastic place to eat 😋 I CANT BELIEVE YOU ARE CLOSING IN 5-6 WEEKS TIME AND SO IS BEEFEATER. FOR THOSE WHO JUST WANT TO POP IN FOR SOMETHING TO EAT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TOO AS IT WILL ONLY BE FOR PREMIER INN CUSTOMERS ONLY. COMPLETELY OUT OF ORDER!!!!!

As usual staff very friendly and helpful and good very tasty. The best thing is they are happy to swap things on the menu

Had fish and chips more batter than fish,chicken and ribs x2 1 chicken breast not cooked properly . Disgusting won't be going again and definitely not child friendly

We always get good food here always busy.

Meal was quite nice,small portions and if you don't have a discount then it's over priced. Dessert was awful and wouldn't recommend that. Drinks were re fills so pay £3.50 for unlimited. Place was clean and tidy and busy. We pre booked so would recommend that too!

Absolutely shocking 🤦🏻‍♂️🙈 had a table booked and whilst we were sat waiting just having a drink, at least 5 tables complained and were offered money back , free drinks of desserts 🍨,, we stay in Premier Inns all week all over the country, and this was painful to watch,,, we just ordered a takeaway for our rooms,, SHOCKING 😲 and it wasn't even busy,, god help em if they got a rush on 🤦🏻‍♂️

Ate here with my family and was served RAW chicken on the chicken and rib combo meal. Brought it to the attention of the waitress who agreed the chicken was RAW. She said that she would get a replacement and promptly came back and put the fresh cooked chicken on the contaminated RAW chicken plate and removed the RAW chicken. Obviously cross contamination and health and hygiene is not something they consider as should have been offered a clean plate and fresh food. They didn't apologise or even give a complimentary drink and on 4 meals and 4 soft drinks costing £72.00 it was the least they could do. Emailed Whitbreads and they haven't even acknowledged my email except an automatic response in 2 weeks let alone offered an apology and look into the Health and Hygiene issue this restaurant has

WORST BIRTHDAY EVER!!! Terrible restaurant if you can even call it that. Food took over an hour to arrive after being told it would come in maximum 30 minutes. Still awaiting on food. The cleanliness was disgusting, found multiple toenails on the chairs, and moldy Food down sides of BROKEN chairs. It's my daughter birthday and it has been ruined. Food is also flat cold. Glaric break starter was just bread with oil. Upon asking a staff member how long Food would be and if we could get any compensation for the wait they tried to argue. Terrible service NEVER would return.

Came here last night for a nice evening meal and wow!! I was extremely impressed with the service and the food! We had 3 clear plates and very full belly's! Jess on the bar was extremely kind and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful meal :)

I’m unable to rate the Food, Service or the Atmosphere because we were stopped from entering at the door as we’d brought our dog. I’d read revues saying it was a very dog friendly restaurant. Beware . It is not! Quite glad really as it’s on a major roundabout, set in a dreary car park and I imagine it would struggle to get anything resembling an ‘atmosphere’ to rate, but judging by the people entering and leaving, the food must be edible and there must be plenty of it!

This place was much busier than I expected. I was told there would be a 30 minute wait before I was seated. Ordered quickly and enjoyed a couple of drinks before the food arrived. The food was pleasant and the staff were polite and busy. All in a nice place to stop for a good bite to eat.

Bar staff was serving people in the wrong order. When I pointed this out to her she just looked at me with not a word of apology but just a glare, All the other staff I came into contact with were good.

Good afternoon , our treat was a meal out today.. sorry but I need to comment on our meals.. one was a carvery meat was excellent everything else was lukewarm, . The other was a mixed grill as usual something else was missing from the plate( normally gammon) today was onion rings… the young lady did ask if all ok , but now I’m home I realised..

Only popped in for a light lunch, greeted pleasantly. Food was indifferent, service was lacking.

Bank Holiday Monday, we entered and the hostess greeted us and made sure to mention that they had no rump steak or coleslaw. This was not a big issue and was very professional to mention. We ordered and received our food. My wife ordered the scampi and was looking forward to the tartar sauce. Unfortunately they told us that they had ran out due to it being the bank holiday. My daughter mentioned that her dish was quite dry and they offered to make her a fresh dish which was really nice. The food was ok, it could have been a little warmer but arrived in a timely manner. The atmosphere was quite welcoming and the staff went out of their way to support our needs. I would visit here again based on the teams interaction and going the extra mile to accommodate us.

Visited twice while on holiday. Both times food cold and sent back. Looking around you see other dinners sending food back. staff were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely wonderful staff! The whole team at this site are lovely. Friendly, helpful and professional. The food is really good for this type of restaurant. The breakfast is great value and there is a good choice of food on the main menu at reasonable prices. Parking is free and easy. Disabled friendly.

The prices are excellent 2 meals for 11.49. The burgers were very close to hockey pucks but for the price you can't really complain. The service was excellent. All of the sauces come in individual packets, one of the waiters brought over a pair of scissors to cut the packets open. Not sure what is wrong with a bottle. Overall good value, I would just try something else next time.

Breakfast review, croissants looked like a child had played with them, asked if there were any more, no. Got any orange juice? No, can't get any. As others have said, on evening onion rings are so hard I though I'd broken a tooth. Relying on meal deal workers means they won't improve as its a captive audience.

We stayed in the Premier Inn and had booked the meal deal on arrival we booked a table at reception good job we did as the restaurant was very very busy. The staff explained how long it would be for food etc they was friendly and polite and worked very hard they didn't seem to have enough staff. We enjoyed our meals and had very good service have never seen it as busy as it was as we have stayed a few times it was half term though .

Went for the veggie carvery. I personally didn't like the meat replacement fillet. Veg was great, cauliflower cheese was the nicest thing on the plate. Yorkshire pudding was lovely.

Nice place. Mixed grill it's not in the list.

As we live close by we come here a lot , we had Sunday roast, they only give you two slices of beef / chicken etc , very small slices, very thin, , the price as gone up as well the roast potatoes were like husks

Wow. Got told to book as it gets busy. (We were staying in hotel next door). Can't think why it gets busy. Maybe the worst food I've ever eaten. The chips were soggy and limp as was the Battered fish. (Absolutely no crispness at all) and to top it all off the fish had zero taste to it. Poor poor excuse for food

Frozen roast potatoes very not nice very dry inside the rest OK.

We had a Sunday carvery here. The food was nice with a variety of different vegetables and sides. Would come back again soon.

Was very impressed, have been several times and I have to say that one of the service staff Dan has so much time and patience with the customers it's so nice to see ,rarely happens these days ,well done Dan keep up the good work

The place needs a good clean up as looking a little dirty. Toilets smelt and even buckets under the urinals didn't help. Brewers Fayre isn't normally too bad but this place really need some time and effort to make it cleaner. Maybe a mystery shopper needed for a full report to head office.

Food and service were very good The only gripe were the disabled toilets in need of upgrade and some TLC. This is not the staffs fault but I have noticed it’s across the whole chain

The buffet breakfast is a bargain, especially if you have children.

Good meal and price worth the visit

As a regular customer, I have to say last Sunday was terribly disappointing. I arrived for a carvery and as it is served until 6pm I thought turning up at 4pm would be OK. However I waited at the bar for 15 minutes to be served with several people behind me thinking the same when other staff were wondering around not really doing anything. The food itself, parsnips, potatoes roasted both cold. The vegetables had been sat there along time and had to wait for more to be done after asking. Overall I rate this place as my go to as I live nearby and had several Christmas lunches here from the festive menu and enjoyed it. We are always here, I also brought my granddaughter here to meet santa. But this time I was shocked on how bad it was. My apologies for the review but it had to be said as I was shocked.

Had breakfast and dinner over two nights. New Years Eve was heavily booked but we managed to get a table for 7:30pm. Staff are absolutely wonderful, food is delicious and it's one of the best Brewers Fayres I've ever been to. Will definitely visit again.

We waited at the bar for 10 minutes to be served. There were two staff making 1 cocktail they didn't even look at us. The food was either undercooked or over cooked. Garlic bread with cheese had no cheese the egg was like rubber.

Nightmare experience. Never enough hot breakfast items available ,continually running out.

What lovely staff from moment we entered I had a young lady In a wheelchair and was greeted with door being opened. Was taken to a quiet place which I had asked for. It was busy but didn't feel rushed to order. Food was lovely and hot. Was lovely atmosphere staff all doing above and beyond to help you only thing I would say if disabled toilet isn't very big which staff obviously can't help that only critism I have.

Good food plenty of choice plenty of parking

Fairly busy for Sunday afternoon, carvery ran out beef and no ribs. Carvery finished at 5pm. I had sirloin partner had smothered chicken. Both hot tasty and well cooked. Horseradish as well. Chocolate torte and cheesecake to follow. Beware plenty of kids here, so not a place for a quiet Sunday afternoon dinner. Wednesday morning, we had the unlimited breakfast. Have to say probably one of the best I've had on my travels.

Steak was well done instead of medium. They forgot about me after i asked for a new steak. By the time I got a new steak, I'd finished my meal. The front line staff were very polite. If not for the steak issue would have been 5 star.

Was told there was no tables for 45 minutes yet went outside and booked online for a table within 15 minutes. Carvery was very nice with plenty of choice. Menu has plenty to choose from. Had run out of several deserts but would happily swap the ice cream that came with the brownie for custard.

Very disappointed this visit used to love coming here but slowly going downhill. Arrived at 12.00 food arrived at 1.00. We ordered fish and chips and a burger, after a long wait the food arrived, the fish was all batter not much fish inside and the batter was very hard and crispy. The burger had no taste and outside of burger was hard. I usually have good reviews but very disappointed.

The food here is ok -but attended a few times for breakfast, which is a buffet all you can eat !!! And found it’s not easy to eat one standard breakfast meal due to the lack of replenishing … our last visit, it was not even half full but there was no eggs or hardly any beans available and people were waiting … they bought out a small plate with about 4 eggs and then the queue had to continue waiting , we eventually managed to get a breakfast with a tiny spoonful of beans …… it was impossible to get anymore as there was no bacon or eggs again and people were still waiting for beans when we left ….. the queue was long and people were being turned away as there were no cleared tables - wouldn’t recommend

Went there for a Family breakfast at the end of a holiday. Disability access was very good. There was a good selection of breakfast items and the staff on hand were very helpful. All in all a very pleasant experience and a nice venue.

Fantastic place to take the family, Great atmosphere food was delicious and served quickly. To top it off very good prices.

I assuming they were short staffed, as sign said find a table and order at bar. I tried new chicken curry, which was good.

Food excellent, service from Josh and staff polite friendly couldn't do enough for us made to feel very welcome would recommend to friends and family.
