It is what it is! Standard grub on sea on the sea front. Yes you can find cheaper but the location is great.

Can't fault this restaurant. On a cold and wet day we stopped off. A couple of hotdogs, large chips and a coffee. Portion size was large, chips were NOT greasy but perfect. Customer service was very polite. Prices are what you would expect given that you are at the sea front but definitely not the most expensive around. End result good food and service for the price. 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice place but drinks are way over priced Just popped in for 2 coffees ( nothing special) and 2 cans of drink £10.20 cans were £1.90 each and coffee £3.20 each… cheaper at Costa.

Dropped in for breakfast over the weekend. Restaurant was clean and well presented. Staff friendly and professional. Food came out in good time and was of good quality, especially the sausages 😋 Price point was decent and the shop soon filled up in the time we were there so must be quite popular. Would eat here again and would recommend, thank you

Called in today for dinner, food was excellent, service by all staff(who were also extremely friendly),was top quality and all food came at the same time and was freshly cooked and hot. Would definitely recommend to anyone. We left extremely full and with all plates empty which hardly ever happens for us 5☆ 👍

Absolutely awful, over priced, full of Eastern Europeans that stare at you on entry deep fried rubbish left hungry would not recommend and would not ever go back !

Stopped here with my friend for drinks rather than food. Lovely coffee and hot choc. Really friendly chap here, cheerful and chatty. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our drinks were great and the food being served to other guests looked lovely. Prices all reasonable. Clean toilets. Would come again.

I had fish and chips here this afternoon. It was absolutely delicious and not overpriced whatsoever, and the staff were very courteous. Ignore the negative comments, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Popped in for a quick tea before travelling home. A little dark and sparse inside, but welcomed promptly. Had sausage and chips and ham sandwich and chips on side. All fine, but didn’t think ‘ this is tasty’. Nothing wrong, but in a competitive market with lots more on offer, I’m not sure I’d visit again.

Great quality food, partner quotes is as “best panini” she’s had! The staff are amazingly friendly and attentive. Fairly empty as first thing in the morning, so was a lovely chilled atmosphere. Will definitely be back again.

I am not going to lie. When I think of Pie and Chips....this place is what I think of. This is the standard against which all others are judged.

The pricing of the food was quite fair, offering good value for money. The portion sizes were adequate, ensuring that customers got their money's worth. Even the kids' meals were generously portioned. The fish was delicious, with a crispy batter that added a satisfying crunch, although it was a tad oily.

Visited for breakfast with my two young girls. Ordered an an adults breakfast and 2 kids meals one tea and 2 soft drinks. Came to £33! Place is ridiculously expensive. Should have gin to beefeater or Spoons. Food was poor too.

Been up Great Yarmouth for a week whilst on holiday, tried a few different places that sell chips, these were definitely the best chips we could find, came back again the next day for Full English, did not disappoint! Staff were pleasant, and good customer service, the place was a little empty considering it was dinner time on a weekend, but that means means we got served our food quicker! Prices a little expensive, but within normal range considering it’s beach front location, but the food was worth the price! Will definitely come back again!

It's an okay place to eat I have been coming here on and off for over 10 years I just recently visited this place with my family and was very shocked at how downhill it's actually gone there is a table full of paperwork and a right mess that looks like it's the owners table and does not look good for customers to see. The staff are friendly enough I was surprised how empty it was for lunchtime it used to be very busy here. The staff was on their phone most of the time when customers were in the restaurant. The toilets are clean and the food is good the chips were very lovely I don't think I would come back for a while and if I'm in the area I would probably go somewhere else sadly.

Only 2 tables occupied when we arrived and it's been 30 minutes since we paid and are still waiting for our food. Not good. I could have made breakfast quicker at home. All we have ordered is 2 bacon sandwiches and a full English breakfast

Great food at reasonable prices. Service wasn't overly quick but at least the food was freshly cooked. Sadly it lacked a little atmosphere. 🤓

1 star is still to many for this place. Spent just over 30quid with NO drinks and was served next to nothing. The sausage egg and chips was 6.90 and in my opinion the worst dish I have ever been served. The cook claims the sausage was from a butchers however I would gamble money to say they were bookers cheapest or from jjs food delivery service. And let me tell you they were absolutely disgusting. Avoid at all costs, its was dead quiet when we visited and I can see why. Please see photo attached of nearly 7quids worth of food.

Brilliant breakfast and polite service .

We enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast and a mug of tea. Lots of space inside and my Mum appreciated that they weren't playing any music! Quick and polite service.

Visit great Yarmouth and after looking at several options we choose to go to la palms cafe. The price was high though near the sea it’s to be expected, we order a hot dog and chips and cod and chips, the food took awhile to arrive which wasn’t great but the hotdog and chip were average for fish and chip shops, the cod however was clearly reheated and didn’t taste fresh. This was the main reason for the three stars the only other issues was the unprofessional manner staff chatted behind the counter. Which didn’t make for a pleasant experience. Would we eat here again probably not

Was recommended by a family member. We live here but had never visited. Being first day of Easter holidays thought it would be a busy lunchtime but it wasn’t. Found a nice big table to accommodate both pushchairs we had. The table felt sticky so used a wipe and the wipe was black after one use. We had to use 4/5 and that didn’t get all the dirt up. The high chair used was no better so I refused to put my baby in one. It was also freezing inside that we all sat in our coats eating along with some of the others in there. You could see your breath it was that cold. We ordered fairly soon after arriving and it took FOREVER for the food to arrive. When it did it was brought out one plate at a time. The food was ok, edible. The staff weren’t overly friendly, no hello welcome or help yourself to a seat and where you order etc. I certainly wouldn’t eat here again and I don’t think the others we were with would either. The one who recommended it was with us due to the fantastic omelette and chips he normally has and even he said it wasn’t very nice this time and wouldn’t go back again. And he used to go fairly often. I’d rather go to The Hinchinbrook a couple of doors down, better service, food and it’s warm!!!!

The worst attempt at a restaurant I've ever had this misfortune to dine in. Food was bland for the best meal, inedible for the worst. The side salad included the core of a tomato and the stem of a lettuce - which the cook argued was the tastiest part of the lettuce!! No wonder you have to pay up front, as I suspect many would not hand over their hard earned money for that rubbish.

Really nice quality food my breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had, my husbands fish and chips was the best he had had in a long time :)

Cappuccino was so weak it tasted like milk. Latte similar and served in a cup though a latte glass was being used to make it. Two roasted panini's were made in part baked french sticks??? A panini is a dense sourdough not a white bread. In door hygiene rating says 5, insect control turned off, no gloves or hair nets in cook or wait staff, very much doubt it would be 5 today

Stayed in Yarmouth over the weekend of 10th to 12th June 2022. We had breakfast here for the 3 days we were there. Lovely staff, great food, we sat outside as it was gorgeous weather. I would recommend and will certainly go back.

Portions were tiny and overpriced. Wanted to charge for ketchup after spending £25 on two breakfasts and a cheese sandwich. Find a different cafe, any positive reviews will be family members. Honestly worse cafe I have ever visited

First time I went there I got a food poisoning from re cooked mushrooms and then went there again in august and you could smell either the garbage or the toilets. Don’t fancy going to this cafe again

This place is without dought the worst value for money eating place in yarmouth you have to pay for sauces and the servings are meagre and the flavour of the food not good save your money and find somewhere else to eat its very over priced

The meal was delicious, the breakfast was cooked throughout, and no complaints. The only downside was that there was no vegan butter. However, I will give them credit as they did look to enough they had not had any in their restaurant. I feel the pricing is reasonable and id defiantly go back again. I had not seen their masks. However, they were screens that protected them and us. The only reason for minus one point is that they lacked a vegan option. Once that issue is sorted, it will definitely.

Returned here after year absolutely love this place we met the manager Gino very friendly and welcoming gentleman food was priced reasonably as always lets see how it tastes.

We visited here for a change to our routine. The Fish and Chips were excellent value. For nearly £7 each we all had a medium cod and chips. Well worth every penny. 😋👍🍽

Please keep walking to the Hinchen Brook. They want you there and care about the food and customers. As for this place, there is zero customer service, it was as if they didn't want custom. The food was overpriced and very poor quality. Toilet was dirty and hand dryer didn't work. Please save your money.

Had a breakfast plate over run by beans. Bland taste

A Friday evening at 6pm we wanted a quick meal before a long drive home. This eat-in or out restaurant / Fish and Chip shop was a great find. The menu is varied and all the food (burgers, nuggets, "Foot-long", jacket potato and apple pie) was presented nicely, the cod and chips was very good. The service was prompt, the staff friendly and prices very reasonable. The establishment was clean, including the facilities. I would recommend eating here.

We stay in Great Yarmouth every summer and if you are on a budget as a family, this is the place to eat. Extensive menu with lots of choices. Food cooked fresh to order, fantastic fish and chips, great kids meals and the best jacket potatoes!! Very friendly young staff and newly refurbished clean toilets. We go back every year and definitely recommend.

We came here in June 2021 and were impressed with all aspects of this cafe.... we visited in August 2021 (4th) to find the quality had slipped, and the attention to detail was lacking. I'm hoping that the increase in prices is being used for the staff. Clearing tables when one of us was still eating, not good eticate. Not very impressed I'm afraid

Food is average hence the average 3 stars. Salad was basically kebab shop salad but was nice enough and I had the soup of the day which was cream of chicken and was without a doubt out of a can, it tasted like Heinz at least so was decent.

Extremely slow service. Waited 25 minutes for a bacon sandwich and beans on toast. Barely anyone else in there so no excuse for such slow service. Place looked like it could do with a good clean, sticky tables and menus. Only reason we didn’t leave was because we’d had to pay up front. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the young girl who served us was very polite.

My family have been UK holidaying around the Yarmouth area for years, it must be 15+ years and every year we go here for food. The premises is of a very good size, offering easy accessibility for disabled person's, as well as having seating outside. The menu is of a very good size with multiple options and if you would like to add or remove anything, the staff are more than happy to help. Once you go in and sit down where you like, a member of staff comes to your table and greets you, also giving the correct amount of menu's and advised where you go to order. When you are ready you go to the till area, and place your order obtaining any child drink from the fridge located next to the till. Once placed they tell you the price and give you a plaque with a number on it as well as sorting any hot drinks there and then. As the kitchen/cooking area is insight, it is great to hear them and see them coming the food as it is all made to order. When your order is ready, one of the staff collects the food from the pass and if your plaque is visible they come and deliver to your table, if not they will call your plaque number and then bring the food over. All required cutlery and serviettes are also brought to your table with the food order. As always someone will always come and check your order and food is alright!! When you are finished someone will come and collect your plates and waste, normally about 10 minutes after you finish. If you then decide you want more you can then do the same again. When you leave, the staff are always polite and say thank you, good bye and enjoy the rest of your day. 💯% recommend this place to anyone who visits Yarmouth as it has never let us down or left us feeling disappointed.... service has always been 100% on point and the staff always polite and friendly

Good reasonably priced cafe has a large menu to eat in or take away indoor and outdoor seating.you can get breakfast lunch and tea or just drinks and snacks

Clean with friendly staff. Food was very nice and freshly cooked. There were 10 of us and we didn't wait too long for our meals. These ranged from omelette, breakfasts, baguettes and jacket potatoes. My only little complaint is paying for sauce sachets. I think they should be free.

After long journey we went to Las Palmas for breakfast, the place was packed and only seating outside was available, surprisingly we were served very quickly even though it was full, we both had Set 1 breakfast which was delicious and good for value, staff friendly and clean toilets, will definitely come back

As we walked in we were told by the girl on the till there’s a wait for food. We said that’s ok as only wanted a drink. She said to take a seat and menus would be brought over. We sat, menus brought over and we were told to order at the till!!! We were just at the till and told to sit!!! Why they couldn’t take our order the first time we were they who knows. Table was dirty and the menus not disposable ones. Whole place had a dirty feel about it. We left and went somewhere else.

My wife and I recently stopped here for an English breakfast , the staff were friendly and the food was ok for a beachfront cafe. The only thing that let them down was the first table we sat at was dirty and we had to change our cutlery as this wasn't clean.

So where do I start , firstly waited 20 mins for someone to explain how to order , the wifes meal was ok ,mine ,I asked for a normal steak and kidney pie and chips , was charged for and received their more expensive homemade pie , we was sitting by the window and the owner who was walking around with out a mask , walked past us went outside and spat on the floor between their outside tables , that did it for me I had hardly touched my meal I was totally put off , if the owner has this level of hygiene with covid19 about what example does he set to his employees , I'll never eat here again ,plenty of other places to eat

Desperate for a drink after a long drive this looked like an ok place. Charged £5 for two coffees of dishwater standard. A bit grubby inside so sat out the front.

We were looking for a fresh cod and chips from a chip shop, this we did not find.Tasteless fish, chips over greasy, my daughter had a jacket potato with cheese which she didn’t enjoy she says it was tasteless with tasteless cheese, my 2 youngest had chicken nuggets and chips, both didn’t finish their food. I decided to try one of their nuggets to discovery the cheapest tasting chicken nuggets I’ve ever tasted.Also disappointed regarding the no thick milk shakes, even tho on the menu this was a let down for the kids.

I came here as a family of 4 for lunch and coffee. The coffee was horrible, instant and out of some sort of urn. We watched one of the waitresses pull her face mask down to wipe her nose with the hand, then pull it back up and continue serving customers food. The other waitress wore her mask around the bottom of her chin, not over her mouth or nose. Tool forever to get served, and their cake cabinet consisted of a few cakes in plastic wrappers, which they were trying to charge nearly 4 quid for. Bruised and limp salad served with the panimis. Dark and gloomy atmosphere, wish we'd gone elsewhere.

Bad attitude of staff,half mug of tea,plastic cheese used in panini and cheese on toast ..flavourless and not very toasted. Long wait for easy order. In empty restaurant. Also had opted out of 'half price monday..only found out on scrawled note by till...real shame.

Never in my life have I felt the urge to take out life insurance after a meal until now. This is without a doubt the worst cafe in England and I firmly believe that. The burger was coated in grease and lightly marinated with the sweat of the fry cook, accompanied by chips that were solid enough to have sunk the Titanic. To top it off they actually charge you for sauces so you should make the most of the diluted squirt of tomato ketchup you are forced to pay for. Save your money for the deep fried mush across the street instead of taking years off your life at this place.

I think these people are missing the point of what Las Palmas should be. I've lived there for a while since I'm Spanish, let me tell you this. From the service and the food, these people don't value their business. First of all, the weitres just stays there, she can't even clean a table when a customer leaves, or ask customers if they would like anything at all. Being pretty isn't enough, good customer service is. So training 0. Ordered some Cod with salad, Cod was so fried that I must asume that the oil was 2 months old, and as for the salad, no olive oil, no salt, nothing. Almost like taking food out of Co op and just starting eating without any preparation. Not to mention some of the staff sitting down on their phones which for me, is a sign of lazynes. Now I am no owner of a restaurant, I can tell you from experience this isn't one. People are unqualified and unmotivated and the food wasn't good in fact I tasted the fish and left the plate full, Cuz its just not a good service of someone who loves their business. This LasPalmas place has great potential, if put in the necesary work. And yeah, visit the actual Las Palmas to get an idea.

Alway head straight here when I get to Yarmouth. Love it
