Cafe Continental in Great Yarmouth

So disappointed in this place now Used it a lot a few years ago when the original owners ran it Now it is run by other members of the family Two rounds of plastic cheese on toast slapped in whole rounds on the plate no garnish no finesse Small cappuccino finally found the coffee 3 quarters of the way down and the cost £11 What a rip off the place was nearly empty that says it all Always full before first and last time in a lot of years that I have been there never again

we have been here a couple of times for lunch,,we ate here this week before coming home.. I had the vegan burger with chilli, it was amazing, my hubby tried it and said he wished he had chosen it...The service is fab and friendly..Food is fresh and is very clean place to ear...I will be returning

Well, what can I say..it’s not often I give such a positive review but this needs to be done. I’m a bit of a foodie and I have to say the setting, atmosphere and overall dining experience was really good. We had the full english and the poached egg on toast but WOW!!! It was exceptional and really surprised me, I wish I’d had dined here yesterday instead of the Alexandra. I could have easily had two and the freshly squeezed orange juice was to die for. Best thing I did in Yarmouth was visit this gem 👍

after coming back into Yarmouth in the middle of the afternoon decided we just needed a snack.we had a cream tea for 2 of us and the scones were fresh and tasty. I have been for an early breakfast just after 8 in the morning on a Saturday and the breakfasts are good value

Llamado con amigos para el almuerzo. Había mucha gente, pero el servicio era bueno, pero no tan amable. El menú era vasto y raciones y la calidad de la comida era muy buena

Visited today. Good food and prompt,pleasant service, reasonably priced. Only gripe is that in hot weather, the glass partition is opened and the cigarette smoke from the outside dining area comes flowing in. It's a bit strong sometimes. It would be nice if the whole place were non smoking.

Nice, large, popular cafe. Pleasant, speedy service. Nice place to have a coffee or something to eat and watch the world go by.
