Great meal. The waiter helped us put together a lovely combination of dishes. Particularly liked the Railway curry I would strongly recommend it. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable.

Had a takeaway which we collected and brought to the office. Various dishes ordered and everyone was hot, spot on and no left-overs. We order most Fridays and they have yet to disappoint! Highly recommend all their breakfast dishes - tried them all over time!

Called in for an afternoon cup of tea. Very friendly locals and very welcoming Landlady. Tea was lovely, presented exceptionally well and good value for money. Will definitely return and I can highly recommend.

Went with family and friends. Sunday roast was decent, lovely lamb, beef and chicken. Massive Yorkshire’s with loads of gravy with more offered. Scent roast potatoes which is always good at a pub and decent fresh cooked veg. Even the Brussels sprouts were good which was excellent. Staff generally very friendly, manageress seemed faulty stern but clearly runs a tight ship. Prices competitive. Difference between this and 5 stars is nothing to do with food and service. Down to fact that if you have a baby or toddler the changing facilities are less than basic! Something they really could do with sorting.

If you want good pub grub then The food in this place is better than anywhere in the local area! A month ago my wife and I decided to try the food after the pub changing hands. We had the burgers 🍔 and the dirty fries 🍟 we have been residents of Coates village for 30 years and both grew up in Whittlesey. What you get here is the only thing within 40 miles that would rival anything decent burger and fries from London (I mean, American style)! I’ve severed some hi end establishments over my time with meat as I was a butchery manager that worked for jimmy Doherty (Jamie Oliver’s mate) for a number of years and I’m ecstatic that I have this 200m up the road! The service was spot too!! Hats off too chef at the vine!! This guy know what he is doing 🎩👍🍔🍟

When i visited this Lovely Inn of Joy and Great Atmosphere, i was Welcomed very Well by the Landlord/Landlady who really looked after me. They had a very Good Beer selection and a very simple menu with simple dishes on offer. I sid not have any Food this time. Just fancied a Good pint to drink and just relax. I chose a Pint of Abbot Ale. It was poored for me very Well and paid a very reasonable £ 4 ish pounds for my pint. I went and found a table to sit at. A very Good old English Pub and Restaurant in Whittlesey. I really Enjoyed myself and the Ambience. Friendly people as well i had Good conversation with. Went in to get something to take away but stayed and had a very enjoyable vegan breakfast. Good choice of meals and snacks. Very helpful, friendly service. Good atmosphere.

Poor management We went for a family meal to celebrate a birthday. Whilst paying for the bill, one of the members knocked their head on the low ceiling leaving them sweating, pale and very distressed. The manager was not to be seen on sight however albeit this, the two young bar staff were attentive and helpful. When the manager arrived, the lady responded saying it the low ceiling meets the health and safety requirements and there was nothing she could do about it despite claiming that the “🦆” sign indicated to mind your head whilst one of the members were sat with ice and a towel wrapped around their head in a lot of pain. Very disappointed with the way the manager dealt with the scenario and the fact that the young girls had to call a member of management to the scene suggested that no member was health or safety trained. Thankfully, he is ok however if the scenario was a lot worse we wouldn’t know what to expect has of he needed extra help.

This is a gem! The bar keep is very friendly and knowledgeable and I just love the cozy atmosphere. Drinks are great and did I mention the atmosphere?!! It’s what a pub should be…

I was visiting friends in the area and we decided to pop out for a couple of drinks and a bit of food; we decided on The Exchange as we love tapas. Well they did not disappoint, we thoroughly enjoyed all of our dishes and there’s something for everyone; the cocktails were amazing and very reasonable compared to where I live; if you are in the area it is a must!

Lovely warm atmosphere 👌 No; 1 Freshly cooked delicious crispy buttered fish with a golden chips and mushy on the side Yummy Taste was Amazing ! ! ! We came to eat after our Diving session and Service was Perfect 🥰and So Familiar We will definitely coming back again and again. 100% Recommendation !!! Decidimos probar el puente cuando llamamos al volante Inn, pero pareció cerrado? ? ? Encontramos una agradable bienvenida y un precio justo para las bebidas, pero no están ofreciendo comida de todos ahora. La tierra - señora nos dijo que podría haber un hindú para llevar en el lugar pronto, y nos dijo que nos gustaría probarlo si y cuando se abren. Por ahora recomendado para un pub local agradable.
