Booked as a venue for my sister's 40th birthday at fairly short notice for 14 guests. Discussed requirements with Nicki over the phone regarding food/dietary requirements and opted for a cold buffet. She was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when on the night there ended up being more people than booked for. She offered suitable suggestions to make sure everybody was catered for and we just paid the extra at the end of the evening. A lovely place, good food, and friendly service.

Me and my sister went for the Tapas and Psychic night. The staff were amazing as always and the food was absolutely delicious and lets just say we enjoyed quite a few cocktails. 2 ladies came to the table and done our tarot readings, which was astounding to say the least. Can't wait to come along to the Psychic Cafe event over the next couple of weeks.

Came for an afternoon tea. We tried to order the deluxe but you need to order it in advance, but that isn't in the menu or online (and the menu actually asks that you upgrade to it!). Staff were very friendly but they were out of a lot of items, including caffeinated coffee. Got a standard afternoon tea and the scone we got was raw on the inside. We took it back and the waitress said that it had happened all morning, so stop serving that batch? It then was quite a while until A replacement came, which wasn't warm so it wasn't like we had been waiting for a batch to finish cooking. A bit odd but the staff were really friendly.

I visited The Exchange for my birthday with a group of friends on a Saturday night. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by smiles from the staff, the welcome is warm and friendly. We sat at a round table which was nice and meant we could chat with one another easily. I had Aperol Spritz, my friends had Pornstar Martini, and Cherry Bakewell, others had the gorgeous Pinot Grigio Blush. We ordered Baked Camembert and an Antipasti board along with a selection of Tapas (shown in my pics) which included Minted Lamb, Prawns and Chorizo, Breaded Chicken, Garlic Mushrooms, Tomato and Chorizo, Sweet Chilli Chicken and Sweet Chilli Vegetable Skewers. Everything was delicious! We has a wonderful night and will be back! Thank you!

Being in one of the more attractive buildings in March town centre, this restaurant stands out as being of quality. Comparatively speaking, perhaps it is. I only called in for a coffee at lunch time and didn’t get to see a food menu, but the surrounding were nice. It could probably do with a splash of paint inside and some touching up in places but it’s not too bad. The staff were pleasant and I was offered a loyalty card, which is a nice bonus.

Friendly service, good ambiance, and a varied menu of food and drink. My sisters and I went for a regular afternoon tea, a vegan afternoon tea and tapas dishes, all of which were delicious and fresh. The mojitos were a little disappointing and appeared to have been made from a mix, but this is quite common in a non-specialist venue and did not spoil the meal. Would visit again if in town.

Enjoyed a very pleasant evening with great food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly allowing us to take our time choosing and gave recommendations. Some items on the sharing platter weren’t available but substitutions offered were perfect. Portion sizes were just right, we chose 2 dishes per person plus desserts and all arrived well cooked, nicely presented and at the right temperature. Great drinks menu too we really enjoyed the cocktails and the gin menu is very extensive. Background music was just the right volume and not intrusive into our conversation. Will definitely be back.

Ordered Americano coffee which was very weak, we ordered coffee as we've found their tea previously to be too weak so next time we'll say we like it strong which will hopefully make a difference. The food was OK. The issue for me would be the cleanliness of the toilets. For an eating establishment these are appalling - the ladies porcelein loo bowl either needs a new one or an extremely deep clean.

Everything was perfect on the night, the food I had requested was neatly presented and plentiful, my table decorations and balloons had been displayed and my guests glasses were topped up frequently. I had ordered a musician too for the evening and he was well catered for. All my guests commented on how relaxed a venue it was. Came for afternoon tea with a friend both of us have little ones cue trying to get up the steps into the place with buggies not easy. Room set out very nicely was expecting high things very disappointed when the afternoon tea arrived, smallest sandwich triangles I have ever seen with limited fillings, when put together made a sandwich and a half, two small ramekins with about 5 crisps in it, grapes to share for two ppl we counted 7 small grapes definately passed their prime. Scone was lovely and warm asked for strawberry jam given raspberry went to change it was told they don’t have strawberry (why offer it if it’s not there?) don’t just assume raspberry is fine as could be allergic to it to top it off two small portions of chosen cake which had obviously been in the fridge a while. Tea was ok but had to ask for milk, All this came to £27.40. Not worth the price we paid won’t be going here again.

Reception was good but the waitress wasn't aware what was booked even though it was reserved and paid for in advance. There was a surcharge for the use of china but it was hit and miss. The food was so so, chocolate cake was dry and all you get was one slice of cake whereas in a traditional afternoon tea you get a selection. The finger sandwiches was a little stale. Service was slow and it wasn't that busy. Had I known the prices in advance I would have gone else where. Shame really as I think it could have been quite good.

Today a group of approximately 30 of us arranged for a casual Christmas morning tea and cake in the upstairs restaurant. Around 17 of the guests were children, one of which has allergies to milk, eggs and nuts, this was catered for very well with a few adjustments to the great value childrens afternoon tea. As always the tea, coffee and cake was lovely, staff were very friendly and very accommodating of our unusual booking. The festive afternoon tea and mulled wine was a nice treat. See you again soon...Angelique, Denise, Michelle & Maurice x

This is our second visit, the first being great. Again the staff were professional, welcoming and friendly. The menu is interesting as is the wine list however it was let down by poorly cooked food. Lamb was so underdone it was effectively raw and inedible. Portions are a little uneven e.g. large amount of mash potato. And presentation was a little haphazard and neded more care.

Visit as much as possible wether it's a coffee and lunch during the day or a cocktail in the evening. Best looking place in town and by far the classiest 👍🏻

Stumbled upon this Bistro while trying to find somewhere to have a celebratory drink before dinner on a Friday night. Even though we live in March we hadn't heard of its existence as a Bistro, just as a tearoom, so decided to go in and have a look. I'm so glad we did. On entering the wine/cocktail bar we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to a table and relaxed seating area. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco with some olives and bread and thought we'd have a look at the menu for the Bistro while we were there, just for future reference. We were impressed with the menu, which was varied, together with the specials, so we decided we'd give it a try. Luckily a table was available and we were shown upstairs to a nice quiet table by the window. We both had a starter, a main course and shared a cheese and biscuits, which was washed down with a bottle of Rioja Crianza. The food and wine was excellent and the waiting staff very pleasant and efficient. At the end of the evening the owner Nicky came to our table and enquired whether we had enjoyed our meal and we had quite a nice chat with her. We had a lovely relaxed evening and are so pleased to have found somewhere in March that can fill the void that has been left since the unexpected closure of The Plate and Porter Restaurant. We will definitely be returning, in fact we have already booked for a wine tasting next Friday evening, to which we are already looking forward.

We booked to dine here and on arrival were shown to our table and were immediately told of the specials of the day. After placing our drinks order we were given a small dish containing some homemade bread. Very tasty. Our meal order was taken by friendly and helpful staff who addressed any questions we had about the menu. A very warm and friendly atmosphere, which in our opinion, defines what a bistro should be. At the end of our meal, Nicky, the Bistro's owner came to our table for a chat, which we thought was a lovely touch, chatting about our meal experience.

Great steak, great owner, great service. Highly recommend. Something new in an area where there isn't much else too offer! Good things and only getting better.

My fiancé and I visited the exchange for the first time on Valentine's Day and we had an excellent time. The food was cooked to perfection, the staff were very helpful and the place had a great atmosphere. We sat up on the second floor and even though it looked like it was full, the staff couldn't have done enough for us. The food and drinks were reasonably priced, which was a nice surprise at the end of the evening considering the other half likes a wine or 3, and the steak I had was one of the best I've eaten! We will definitely be revisiting again soon!

Im a big fan of the family run Cafe D'licious as a stop off point for breakfast. Great consistent quality food. Lovely service. I recommend. It is also on the national sustrans route through Wisbech and makes a conveniant stop off point from where travellers could enjoy a bite to eat and explore Wisbech's vibrant history (Thomas Clarkson Memorial, Wisbech Museum, Octavia Hill Museum, and Peckover House).

If you want good pub grub then The food in this place is better than anywhere in the local area! A month ago my wife and I decided to try the food after the pub changing hands. We had the burgers 🍔 and the dirty fries 🍟 we have been residents of Coates village for 30 years and both grew up in Whittlesey. What you get here is the only thing within 40 miles that would rival anything decent burger and fries from London (I mean, American style)! I’ve severed some hi end establishments over my time with meat as I was a butchery manager that worked for jimmy Doherty (Jamie Oliver’s mate) for a number of years and I’m ecstatic that I have this 200m up the road! The service was spot too!! Hats off too chef at the vine!! This guy know what he is doing 🎩👍🍔🍟

Went with family and friends. Sunday roast was decent, lovely lamb, beef and chicken. Massive Yorkshire’s with loads of gravy with more offered. Scent roast potatoes which is always good at a pub and decent fresh cooked veg. Even the Brussels sprouts were good which was excellent. Staff generally very friendly, manageress seemed faulty stern but clearly runs a tight ship. Prices competitive. Difference between this and 5 stars is nothing to do with food and service. Down to fact that if you have a baby or toddler the changing facilities are less than basic! Something they really could do with sorting.
