Lovely warm atmosphere 👌 No; 1 Freshly cooked delicious crispy buttered fish with a golden chips and mushy on the side Yummy Taste was Amazing ! ! ! Chippy Sue's in Whittlesey serves up some of the best fish and chips around. The fish is always fresh with a perfectly crispy batter, and the chips are golden and delicious. The staff are friendly, and the service is quick. Great value for money—definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Absolutely love the chips from chippy sues, the best I have had in a very long while! Great menu with lots of choice and always very polite and friendly service. I just wished they opened more days!

So disappointing. £20 for hard chips and burnt fish. If I was local I would've returned and requested a full refund. Appalling quality. Would not visit again.

It’s okay, the waiting area does look like it could do with a good clean. My sausage and chips was average, I ate it all, chips had quite a few bits of batter in them, the on wife’s Pie was microwaved a bit too long. They display a food hygiene rating of 3 which is average, I’d agree with that.

My daughters swim nearby and this place is amazing. Freshly cooked, great tasting food and excellent value for money. If you haven't tried it, you need to. Friendly service with a smile!

So nice to find a chippy that uses beef dripping. Reminds us of Yorkshire. We moved to the area last year but only discovered this chippy by the lovely smell while out walking

Thanks to the "you-know-what" order are taken by the front door where only staff are inside the premises. Despite this the system they are using works really quite well and isn't that much of an inconvenience to customers or other people on the pavement. Food was cooked to order, piping hot and really nice quality. Better was crisp with a pleasing texture and the fish (Haddock in my case) was tasty and well cooked. I don't remember anything exceptional about the chips, had better but had a lot worse elsewhere. Staff (owner?) were friendly and helpful.

Had battered sausage, fish & chips. The sausage was ok. The fish was flimsy, skinny, greasy & soggy and also weirdly the batter was a dark colour. The chips were all stuck together and had loads of black ends. Ended up throwing the majority of it away. Disappointed

Excellent flavoured Curry sauce and the Scottish fish cake is fantastic as a bonus this chippy is managed by Sue and her very Efficient/Professional team.

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had..... Ordered a take away of cod and chips. Fish was dripping with fat and grease and full of bones, watery and undercooked disgusting mess. Chips were cold and also dripping in grease. Absolutely vile. DONT EAT HERE..!!

Fish was ridiculously soggy. Batter was like wallpaper paste. Full of bones and undercooked and full of water. Chips were cold, F****** disgusting.

A really friendly and clean chip shop with far more than just fish to go with chips. The chips are well cooked and my wife tells me that her vege burger was the tastiest she had tried. I had a haggis (Black Pudding had run out) though I could have done with 2 however they are cheap enough so next time I will. Also look forward to the corned beef fritters. I also noticed smokies on the menu, they are one of my favourites, I may even get some fish one day. Go there, it's well worth it!

The food is good but the portions sometimes can be small. That's the only issue though, food cooked to order so always fresh and chips are tasty.

Although we don't have fish and chips regularly Chippy Sue's is by far the best fish and chip shop in the area and, believe me, my husband and I have tried a few over the years. We find the staff to always be extremely helpful. All of our orders have always been freshly fried and are still piping hot when we get back home to Thorney.

Mate stopped today got bag of chips they were slightly warm tasted disgusting !! How many times can you reheat chips !! AVOID AT ALL COST !!!

This is the best 'chippy' I have been in for ages. The shop always seems to be open and the food is well cooked and presented. The staff are very pleasant and they offer value for money. Keep up the high standards - and unlike others, keep open so we can eat when we want to unlike the rest who allow us to eat when they want to open.

Friday girls came to our house 3 wanted fish and chips so I went and fetched them from Sue's, the others wanted Chinese so The Silver River on Eastrea Road did theirs.

Chips were ok, but the fish was terrible. The batter was actually burnt - black in places, smelt awful wen unpacked, and the fish itself was very overcooked and chewy.

By no means a bad chippy just nothing special.

Staff were youngsters and excellent. Quick and very cheerful .chips, fish and other produce are all cooked fresh and obviously in clean cooking fat. The result being non Greasy products that tasted delicious

Where I come from in Lancs we have award winning fish & chip shops so that sets the standard for me. However, I must admit this chip shop would give them a run for their money. It's all about the batter for me & cod was freshly cooked so batter really crunchy. Excellent chips & generous portions. I will definitely be a regular.

This is a great little chip shop,I think it has the best chips for miles around,very good service, good portions (kids chips is normally enough unless you are very hungry) they also do battered quorn sausages for vegetarians 😀

Popped in heard the food was good and yep it certainly is. Fish nice and fresh and the chips are excellent. I will certainly use them again.
