Went with family and friends. Sunday roast was decent, lovely lamb, beef and chicken. Massive Yorkshire’s with loads of gravy with more offered. Scent roast potatoes which is always good at a pub and decent fresh cooked veg. Even the Brussels sprouts were good which was excellent. Staff generally very friendly, manageress seemed faulty stern but clearly runs a tight ship. Prices competitive. Difference between this and 5 stars is nothing to do with food and service. Down to fact that if you have a baby or toddler the changing facilities are less than basic! Something they really could do with sorting.

Having phone to book for 7:30 and being it would have to be 7:15. We therefore rushed to get ready and arrive just before 7:15.We got drinks from the bar expecting to be shown to our table, but no with no apology or explaination we were left standing there like lemons for close on 30 mins before being shown to our table. The food was OK, but you could have got similar quality at Wetherspoons for less than 1/2 the price including a free drink!!!

Pub is a bit out of the way, but well worth a visit if you live in Peterborough, Whittlesey, March or the surrounding villages. The bar had a reasonable choice of quality real ales.Good honest home cooked food at a respectable prices.Service was great and good mix of being on the ball but not too over bearing.Would go back again.

This pub is in the middle of the fens,11 miles away from us though the back fen roads, after going past it for the last 20 some odd years, we went in. You know the saying " never judge a book by its cover " well never judge a pub from the outside, omg, it is the best food we have ever had, Everything from the home made chips to the sauce on the steak was just perfect, the home made hunters chicken was just perfect. we have eaten at many pubs, restaurants etc, and none will beat this place, Mr and Mrs A Wade, Ramsey Mereside.

For a while I'd been looking for a pub in the area that serves up proper, home-made food and on the off-chance I found the Three Horseshoes. My wife and I had driven past it on several occasions, noticing on Sundays especially that the car park was always pretty busy, but had never stopped to check it out. Thankfully this particular Sunday we decided give it a go and boy am I pleased we did! The food was superb, I've not had a Sunday lunch from a pub on par with this for a long time - the selection of roasts was good, being able to choose from slow cooked lamb, roast chicken, beef or pork. The meat itself was very good, very little fat and cooked just right. Alongside that there was a hearty selection of veg served (again cooked just right), fresh roast potatoes, good thick gravy and most importantly THE most awesome Yorkshire puddings ever - these babies were massive and totally home-made, the entire meal didn't have anything from a frozen background in sight as far as I could tell. There was the option to have a starter but I held back from this, although it sounded good I wanted to save myself for a pudding. Again, I'd say the puddings were home-made, certainly the bread and butter pudding I had was and my wife's lemon sponge was nice too. The food is only half the story though, the staff were friendly and very welcoming, we had my young son with us at the time and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal and the attention received. All in all the value was great, two courses for the Sunday lunch that we had was £12.50 each, on advise from the staff my son had a side plate and we made up his lunch from my wife's and my plate - there seriously was THAT much of the portions that we all had plenty. I really can't praise the meal and service enough, it was that good and we'll definitely be returning in the future.

Have had the pleasure of eating and drinking in this Village pub a few times. Is run by a lovely couple called Tim & Mel. Waitresses and barmaids are really friendly and will go out of their way to people enjoy themselves. The sunday roasts are FANTASTIC and HUGE and great value. The desserts are to die for!!! The menu has a really good choice, caters for everyone and everything is home cooked. Have ate in a large group here and just as a couple and each time the food has been excellent. Would HIGHLY recommend this pub if you enjoy home cooked food and a great service for a great reasonable price.

Im a big fan of the family run Cafe D'licious as a stop off point for breakfast. Great consistent quality food. Lovely service. I recommend. It is also on the national sustrans route through Wisbech and makes a conveniant stop off point from where travellers could enjoy a bite to eat and explore Wisbech's vibrant history (Thomas Clarkson Memorial, Wisbech Museum, Octavia Hill Museum, and Peckover House).

If you want good pub grub then The food in this place is better than anywhere in the local area! A month ago my wife and I decided to try the food after the pub changing hands. We had the burgers 🍔 and the dirty fries 🍟 we have been residents of Coates village for 30 years and both grew up in Whittlesey. What you get here is the only thing within 40 miles that would rival anything decent burger and fries from London (I mean, American style)! I’ve severed some hi end establishments over my time with meat as I was a butchery manager that worked for jimmy Doherty (Jamie Oliver’s mate) for a number of years and I’m ecstatic that I have this 200m up the road! The service was spot too!! Hats off too chef at the vine!! This guy know what he is doing 🎩👍🍔🍟
