Really lovely food and service, we had a wonderful lunch, lovely homely decor and welcoming. Highly recommended the place!

What a wonderful place. I’ve never been to a tea room. My friend invited for her 40th celebration. It’s so Preety fun warm and friendly. I’m lucky to have a great friend who works here. The gals we do lovely and welcoming. Food is yum. I’ll be back again soon. Thank you. ☺️

The room upstairs can do with improving. Kowt pubs are moving away from the classic pub concept and embracing the cafe / restaurant plus venue solution which is child friendly and child inclusive . They should consider this too.

I didn't stay in a room, but I had Christmas dinner there. It was very tasty and wonderfully presented plus excellent staff.

The best pub in the world probably, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere and even better beer. Libby the assistant manager always greets us with a smile and a perfectly poured pint.

We wanted a quick and easy lunch with the grandchildren and came to this restaurant as it was close to the Beam theatre where we had tickets for a show. We had sandwiches which were delicious with no skimping on the fillings. The service was friendly, accommodating and quick. We certainly will return.

Popped in for lunch and my partner chose “Wings, bites and strips” only £7.49 for three options and never seen so much chicken. Served quickly with a smile and very tasty. I ordered the new “Sticky Korean Fried Chicken Bowl”. Only £10 with a pint of really lovely JBH ale (so nice I just had to have another one). Large helping of really tasty chicken in a lovely spicy sauce sitting on a plentiful supply of chips. Hope this dish becomes a permanent fixture on the menu.

Whitney Houston bottomless brunch - singer was amazing and we were so well looked after by all of the staff. Really friendly fun afternoon

Awful Bar. Paid for a round of drink and then was asked to pay again. i showed the rude bar staff proof that the money had been paid but they still refused to give me my drinks unless i paid again? Discusting. I paid twice hoping the first payment wouldn’t come out of my account but nope, they took double for 1 round.

Dreadful cakes dreadful atmosphere! Ordered 3 cakes and 3 teas, Victoria sponge was dry and all the filling had seeped into the sponge! Looked like it had been sitting on the counter for weeks. We asked to swap and exchanged for Biscotti Cheesecake, honesty not much better, very artificial, not fresh or home made, after eating my daughter had stomach cramps and then an upset stomach! The Bakewell was dry and tasteless, not good at all ! Asked for 3 teas, gave enough for 2.5 teas so had to go back for water top up and needless to say 1 weak tea as watered down! An awful venue, how hard is it to provide fresh cakes, 3 full teas!!!! Don’t waste your time or your hard earned money!!!!
