Brilliant hen party for my daughter , staff were amazing very helpful, food kept coming and alcohol, nothing was too much trouble real party atmosphere

I went out with a friend last night, one of the security guards asked for my ID so I gave it to him, he proceeded to BEND and FOLD my ID. He’s lucky it’s not broken. it wasn’t until I mentioned about it he gave it back to me - the other security guard did nothing like that to my mates ID - I don’t understand why I got this treatment.

We came here to celebrate a birthday, with 17 friends and family. We walked into the maddest bingo event ever, and the energy just carried on into the club later on. The music was on point, the dance floor was banging and the bar service was excellent too. An outstanding night, still being talked about.

Old-fashioned rooms, but there is an elevator and a bar on site.

Is ideally suited to the 18-35 age group.

I attended the Mariah Carey bottomless brunch at Hertford cinnabar on Saturday 16th December with some of my friends. “Mariah” was fantastic, as was all of the lovely food and bottomless cocktails, bottles of Prosecco, beers and a few shots too. The guy in charge, David was amazing! He really looked after everyone and made sure we always had enough drinks & food. He was very professional and a credit to cinnabar. He was also really good on the decks!!! The bar staff were also amazing. Happy & welcoming. I can’t remember the lady’s name with curly hair (I called you Janet Jackson) but you were so lovely; thank you! Another shout out to the door staff. Adam and two other guys. Again, so good with everyone and really professional. And lastly, the Dj who played before David. Your music was sooo good!!! I have been to all 3 cinnabars hundreds of times. We booked the Cocktail Masterclass for our Team, Christmas night out. It was so much fun. We got to pick 3 Cocktails and all 6 of us made and drank 3 each. The Shots Tom made for us in-between were really nice too. The whole team loved it. We will definitely be booking another! Highly recommend

Great establishment! Sadly, Rude, and unprofessional staff member who completely ruined our evening (blonde lady/ host). Booked a table before it got busy and returned later, to which she demanded we pay £350 or she would give to someone else because it was now busy. Very embarrassing situation, and very unprofessional behaviour. Her customer service, and attitude on life needs complete realigning. With great displeasure we declined and entered normally. Another staff member (Alicia) later gave us the able (which is a row of seating as you enter), not a booth or anything special or what you would refer to as VIP. In all my years, this was definitely not VIP. We spent £300 with Alicia but would never return again sadly. Can’t help but comment that the blonde lady was under the impression that maybe thought we couldn’t afford it because I was black. Furthermore she is a representative of the venue and should not be rude or talk down to people. There’s definitely more to life. We are business executives despite her demoralising behaviour. Very very sad.

My daughter and her fiance were at cinnebar on Saturday, 3rd December and were having an enjoyable evening but some one decided to ruin their evening and drug one of their drinks. My daughter's fiance ended up in hospital in a bad way and they have both been very badly affected by the experience. Please be careful everyone, keep an eye on your drinks.

Overpriced food, adequate service, no going above and beyond for the client. A service charge automatically added for a party of 2 people without telling us beforehand. I was definitely not wowed 😕 Won’t be visiting here again.

Booked on like for Father’s Day breakfast for my son granddaughter husband and I, so easy had reminder on day, arrived at 9.15 lovely friendly greeting at front of house, shown to our table which was in the window on a beautiful sunny day in hertford perfect 🥰 ordered food waitress was so lovely to my granddaughter🥰 food was excellent hot and not a long wait on a very busy day for them, husband had bubble squeak skillet yum,eggs benidict excellent and Bels pancakes we were told was the best 5 star service 5 star review!

Lovely brunch - the bacon and sausages are amazing. Friendly service from the waitress, Alexa, who was really nice. Would definitely recommend this place for food.

Went in for breakfast today and the breakfast wrap was delicious! And they're dog friendly too which is amazing :) Will definitely be returning

Mate robbed. £10 to get in and not be able to move or breathe. Drinks are too spenny. Every gross guy in Hertford is in here and the DJ BUTCHERS so many good songs and the rest cater to a very specific cokey.

Food is very bland and overpriced for what it is. Food is on par with Wetherspoons (Wetherspoons may actually be slightly better) and is a lot cheaper. Service was fine but the chairs have to be the most uncomfortable I've ever sat on, no cushion left in their chairs.

Had a very nice brunch with friends. The food was excellent and Alexa looked after us very well. Would recommend to anyone looking for great food

Very disappointed, booked a table. Which cost over 300 pound. To then be told we have to pay a £10 cash entry fee on top. There was 16 of us so this has cost us another £160. I have never in my life been to a bar booked a table and had to pay entry fee on top. A night out has cost us over 400 pound. The service was terrible took them ages to bring the drinks out. Would not recommend this bar to anyone. RIPPING people of.

Chairs were dirty when we arrived. Leftover scraps from whomever was sat-down before us. I went with a group of vegans and the waitresses provided dairy butter‽‽‽ They messed up all of our orders. They feigned a weak apology, but they didn't offer any solutions to resolve it. When the rest of the drinks and food arrived, they again gave us the wrong things. But at this moment, we couldn't be bothered to make another complaint so we didn't say anything. Of the 8 items that we ordered, only 2 things were correct. They then added a service charge on top of that automatically. So we ended up paying for stuff that none of us wanted. We are all young millennials who understand that service work is tough. We don't want to make a fuss in public, because nobody wants that type of attention. So that socially forced us into a really awkward position. Would not recommend this to anybody. I empathise with them, but the Staff clearly need more training, especially when dealing with customers with dietary restrictions. Not safe at all. I am willing to give this place another chance (maybe, far in the future) but clearly at present, hygiene and respecting people's allergies are not a priority.

Where to begin!!!! Let's start with the suspicious cash only entry fee of £10 pound after 10pm which isn't mentioned on the websites when booking a table... or the said table that was booked wasn't actually available as it had been given to other people despite the booking clearly being on the system.. or maybe the very rude bar staff who looked like she wanted to kill someone because we ordered 2 pornstar martinis, she didn't say a word...not when taking the order or taking my money.... there is one upside. The hostess was very friendly. When she realised she had given our table away. She worked hard to rectify it. However the staff seem to lack from there. Nobody working, just standing around talking giving people dirty looks. I'll stick to elsewhere in future

Wasn't a great experience! We couldn't hear each other at all, the football was on at a extremely loud sound and are table was right next a speaker and screen. We were trying to have a nice hen do/ dinner but we couldn't even speak to one another. The bride's meal came with a rock hard bun (which was inedible), the server offered to get her "new one", when he returned it just a new bun (without the sauces/dressing), meaning the rest of the meal was cold (one would have thought they would bring a new whole meal) She had to put the cold vegan burger in the bun herself and the chips were really cold at this point. She as it was cold and had waited a long time, the food was inedible. The server said they would give her a different meal and gave her the menu so that she could pick something else. When we finally got their attention to order her new meal, they went of and then came back and said the kitchen was closed? We actually had to go to pizza express to get a take away pizza and sit on the street because they were closing! The waiter told me before we left that he would give us free drinks and free shots but only gave us shots. Over all, we were very disappointing.

Good service , pleasant waiter. The food wasn't up to much, I had Halumi wrap and it wasn't cooked well . . A 10% service charge was added onto the bill .

Lovely breakfast and honest staff.. We overpaid on our bill and they refunded the difference. Their chips are particularly moreish too.

Called in during the day for coffee and a quick bite to eat. Food was good and staff very pleasant. We chatted to another couple who often come in the evenings and spoke highly of this venue so we will be trying a late visit next week.

Lovely room, really clean and nicely styled. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast available in the morning. Unfortunately the club downstairs is quite loud and even worse are the people on the street shouting, swearing and fighting. Would be good to provide earplugs.

Worst venue in Hertford. Was charged £10’entry with a table booking then told I couldn’t come upstairs To the private party I was attending. Probably ok if your staying at the hotel . Drinks are over priced. Do not come Here for a special trip unless you’ve never been on a night out before

Came in for lunch on a Saturday, ordered 2x salmon and cream cheese open sandwiches and a portion of chips. We were brought over a miniature slice of burnt toast each with a spread of cream cheese and some salmon. Our chips we ordered the same time but came 10 mins after which were actually fries and were so greasy and sloppy. Very disappointed, will not be returning.

As a group of 3, we enjoyed a Breakfast. All the food was perfectly prepared and presented, and very nice. You will pay a high price for the quality, and £10.00 for a full English is high. The coffees were also very good. £40.00 for 3 people !

dont get out much now but a get togther with friends was needed went to hertford as we hadnt been for a few years came across this place looked busy so went in can see why now as food was good but the coctails were on point ended up staying most of the night as somehow it turned into a club whilst i popped out the back for fresh air. i see they now have one in my hometown hitchin so hoping for the same as journey home will be quicker.

We had a meal here a few years ago and it was a very good experience. On a return visit to Hertford we decided to go again but were very disappointed. The service was terrible and the food just passable. In addition, they seriously overcharged for 125ml glasses of wine (very nearly as much as for 175ml glasses) and when we complained, all they could offer was 'we don't set the pricing policy'.

First time having food at Cinnabar as I usually meet friends there for coffee during the day. Had an early-ish evening dinner & the food & cocktails were delicious. Popular place for the younger set later on.

Tapas food here is good but the service is slow at this venue. We'd been before and had the same service experience but thought we'd give it a second go in case it was a one-off, but unfortunately it wasn't. It took a while before anyone came over to take our drinks order. Ordered 2 gins from their menu that was supposed to come with fruit and certain tonics - no fruit and the wrong tonics provided. Waited a while then to have someone take our food order. Food was very tasty. Seems to me they really focus on the bar area more than the restaurant section as I guess that's where they make their money.

We stopped in Hertford for breakfast and the Cinnabar was the first place we came across. Really more of a club and entertainment venue but they have a dining area downstairs at the front and it was reasonably busy. The food we had was very good and quite classy. My Chorizo Hash was delicious and the vegetarian breakfast was also good with a good vegetable pattie and great toast. Portion sizes seemed fine to us and the standard of food better than many places we have eaten. Service was a bit vague - we had to chase down someone to pay

Had a business meeting and arrived early so popped in for a breakfast. An excellent cooked breakfast, so often something that is disappointing, this certainly wasn't!! Perfect poached egg, lovely sausage and bacon, and a nice coffee to go with it. Friendly staff as well. Highly recommended.

We had our birthday bash here and had 20 friends for dinner. The hertford guys looked after us so well. Food was awesome. The restaurant turned to club and we rocked till close time. Awesome. Thanks Dan, Ben and team!

Friends staying over for the bank holiday weekend and decided to treat ourselves to breakfast out. Overall left Cinnabar feeling disappointed, overcharged and somewhat under nourished.

Limited menu on happy hour cocktails. Never seems to be any atmosphere. Always empty. Get served quickly.

I can not praise this venue enough. It’s great for private hire, we threw a bridal shower in the mezzanine lounge. The kitchen are very accommodating especially with dietary requirements (plenty of vegan options) They make the best cocktails especially the French martini. Ben & Dan were great to deal with and made sure all of our requests were fulfilled and ensured our event went smoothly. Sam went above and beyond to make sure we were all having a great time and that all of our guests had drinks and food and even took some amazing group shots. She also put her extra special touch by adding sparklers and helped escort the bride upstairs for the big reveal. We will definitely been holding future events there and returning to explore their menu.

Really enjoy the breakfast here. Good eggs. Lots of space to bring a buggy. Only issue I have is that staff could be a bit more attentive. I spent a lot of time trying to get their attention or going up to them at the bar while they all chatted to ask for drink, place food order, get the bill and pay.
