One star customer service Visited this spoons and ordered the Sticky Korean Chicken with fruit coolers. The drinks came out very quickly, the waitress didn’t even say anything just put them on the table and walked off. Around 15mins later our food arrived, again plonked on the table with not a word said, one of the dishes was cold. I went upto the bar, the barmaid ignored me so I had to say “excuse me this food we have been served is cold” her response “cold is it …!” Whilst rolling her eyes, I asked if I could have an apology the waitress said “sure” in a sarcastic reluctant tone and walked off. I complained to the deputy shift manager who was very apologetic and replaced the food and offered a complimentary dish on the house. Unfortunately the experience of this delightful waitress has put us off this spoons. Not 5* expected but manners cost nothing, it’s understandable sometimes food gets cold and things happen but to be so abruptly sarcastic and rude has put me off. Other reviews very similar.

Very friendly staffs with good service. Good place to go with family, friends as a dog friendly cafe. We had been there twice when we traveled to Cambridge.

Don’t let the comfy interior fool you, the landlord and landlady have a history of throwing people out and my friends and I fell victim to this, the drinks are good but the service is terrible, we were thrown out over something that didn’t involve us and the landlord came up to us swearing and raising his voice at us almost shouting about something we didn’t even know happened. I live locally and hear tails of this happening often. Terrible service

visited this cafe recently for a late lunch. ordered an eggs filled roll. the bread tasted stale. it was dry and chewy. it was replaced by staff. as it was later than usual lunch time and egg rolls sold out it was replaced with a tuna filled one. the filling was fine but this bread was also dry and chewy. it was revealed, by a staff member that the rolls are frozen, then defrosted in a microwave . i was shocked! the very basic requirement of a cafe is surely fresh bread

We called in here for some tea and coffee while we were waiting for a museum to open. I waited in the queue and found they had no tea and didn’t take cash. My partner came back after trying to find somewhere to sit. He definitely advised against staying here when he saw the unclean state of the tables. I wish we had read Trip-advisor before venturing in.
