On my recent visit to Bedford, I stopped off in Elstow to see the Abbey and Church. Whilst visiting the church, I popped in to the Tea Garden for some afternoon tea and a buttered scone.

The Kiosk in the Park serves perfect coffee and hot chocolate, their almond energy balls are delicious. Always a good atmosphere and pleasant staff, in particular Trevor.

We had a well cooked, well prepared meal presented ready for us to take across Bedford. The owners were pleasant, polite and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal which saved my wife cooking,
We have lived in Arlesey for 27 years and the standard of food we have bought from this take away is consistently very good.
The proprietors are always welcoming.

Unfortunately delivery was made half an hour before I requested. Almost stone cold, unpleasant batter on the fish which I'm guessing is cut price oil and unpleasant cheese on the chips. The fish itsel
Beautiful building in the heart of Bedford.
Lovely inside too and a quirky back garden/smoking area, retaining original features and low ceilings. Its not ample but lovely a cushy.

The staff were very helpful , however we were never asked if we wanted a pudding so we had one at home!
