We have lived in Arlesey for 27 years and the standard of food we have bought from this take away is consistently very good. The proprietors are always welcoming. We as a family rate them very highly.

Amazing quality fish always cooked fresh to order with large quantities of chips. I have people coming to my house from 20 miles away just to taste the wonderful fish.

Recently moved to the area and took a chance on trying fish and chips from here for the first time and they were absolutely delicious!! Crispy batter perfectly cooked cod & chips highly recommended!

Excellent service order rang through ready for collection 30 mins later Fish and chips were delicious as always are - although we were in Arlesey this time - we always travel here from our village and this is best fish n chips in area

I can honestly say that this fish and chip shop is amazing. Fish is beautiful. Chips perfect. And so hot also not greasy. Well done.

Chips greasy, fish grey and watery, and to add to the mix, while I was waiting for my food to be cooked, the arrogant owner managed to put down every local takeaway and restaurant business in the area. Great community support during these difficult times....not. I would never step foot in the place again - unless I wanted to catch up on all of the local (but started by the owner) gossip.

On a reccomendation from a family member, I though I would trek over from Letchworth to check this place out. I'm pleased I did - fantastic fish and chips and the owners are brilliant. Friendly, chatty and their service is awesome. The best chippy in the area for me.

Lovely staff behind the counter. Very friendly and conversations whilst I waited. Large fish and chips and a curry sauce ordered.. Fish was cooked fresh to order which is lovely.. Chips are very good and the curry sauce is lush! Will definitely be going again!

In September 2019 the LivingLife delivery boys hit the streets of Arlesey and with over 2600 homes and dwellings it’s a gruelling day of delivery. To refuel, we visited Arlesey Fish & Chips, a place we had heard great things about. There was a small queue when we arrived (always a good sign) and we were soon greeted by the owner Dragan Marjanovic, who runs the business with his wife Mirjana. Our orders were swiftly taken, both of us opting for medium haddock, chips and curry sauce. Whilst we waited for our food to be cooked, we looked at the array of award posters adorned across the walls. Most recently the shop was awarded the ‘UK TOP 60 Fish & Chip Shops’ by the National Fish & Chip Awards 2020. Quite outstanding really, something that Dragan is very proud about. We were very impressed to see that everything was freshly cooked in front of us, the fish dunked in batter and straight into the fryer, fresh chips as well. Once our food was ready and wrapped, we said our farewells and headed off and found a nice bench in front of the Arlesey Resource Centre which is where we sat and scoffed our dinner. So, what about the fish & chips? Considering we ordered medium, the fish was huge and tasted amazing, faultless in every way, and came with perfect chips - nice and hot. Most importantly the haddock was cooked just right, perfectly fried with crispy batter, but also the fish was nice and moist with just the right amount of flakiness. We were hugely impressed. Dragan certainly deserves his award. The shop is open 6 days per week, both in the evening and at lunch time (closed on Sunday). Telephone orders can be placed (07733 117899) so that you can simply arrive to collect your meal when it is ready. They also cater for birthdays, parties and events, and are well renowned for providing the fish & Chips supper at the annual Quiz Night at Etonbury Academy. A familiar landmark on Arlesey High Street, with some great reviews on TripAdvisor, Arlesey Fish & Chips certainly is a great place to get a delicious take-away!

Amazingly good chips, you get a good size portion. They do a nice veggy burger as well. The Owner is very friendly and welcoming, will deffo use again

We recently moved to Stotfold which has two fish and chip shops, unfortunately neither are very good. After finding the Arlesey fish and chip shop it is the only place we will go despite having to pass two fish and chip shops on the way. The fish and chips are the best we have ever had and it is not surprising that they have won awards for their food.

It was very quite and good village a few years ago, now it is getting development, moving toward town rather than a village.

Me dio el pescado y patatas fritas desde aquí en muchas ocasiones y cada vez que la comida siempre es deliciosa, el precio es razonable y siempre te saluden el momento en que entras. Si necesitas algo que hacer con patatas fritas es el lugar a donde ir.
