We came for a special occasion and Jessica was nothing but welcoming to us and so friendly. We 100% recommend slug and lettuce if she’s the server! Everything you’d want in a bottomless brunch, made conversation the whole time and was just lovely overall! Would suggest to anyone :)

I have to give a 5 star review for the service we received during our visit for the bottomless brunch! The food was average and the place was very quiet but I can't thank Mollie enough for the friendly, courteous attitude and extremely prompt service! Such a nice person which made our time there even better!

We recently had a meal here with our family, we have a very minor issue that Mollie the Manager resolved immediately. Will definately be returning as the food was good but the customer service provided by Mollie was worth the return alone. The pub seemed busy and lively which was good for our children as well.

Food is not nice dry and blad salad dry, no condiments so many menu items not available, cold place and cold food, 1 staff they had and felt sorry for her doing everything due to only 1 staff, mean customer service was not there.

Service was great. A little slow because of the number of tables one person was left to service. Lots of people in and quite rowdy.

Had such a great experience. We were served by megan and mario at the bedford slug and lettuce, both were extremely polite. We came for botomless brunch and they were serving the drinks at the perfect speed 🤍

After reviewing the menu settled on 5 tapas plates, unfortunately 2 of our choices were unavailable. Picked different items paid and returned to our table. Just sat down and was informed another of our choices was also unavailable. Very disappointing. When we enquired what part was unavailable was informed that it hadn't been prepared so would take at least 45 mins to prepare the flatbread and dips we wanted and they assumed we would want to wait that long. We asked for a refund whilst we looked through the food menu again. We finally settled on 2 main dishes instead, and paid again, unfortunately our refund for the "non tapas" will take 3-4 days to return to our bank so out of pocket just In time for Christmas. Amazing how it's always instant payout yet takes days to refund. The cocktails 241 promotion was a lovely idea especially at Christmas and the food that's we finally decided to order was tasty. The floor manager apologised and supplied a free drink for the inconvenience but I would strongly recommend you pick at least 2/3 other choices before you order.

Went in evening so was a drinking fest but service was very bad and it wasn't that busy either, wasn't let in by door staff until they wanted to even though it was only quater full 🤷‍♂️. Music was ok but standing waiting for 15 mins to get served was terrible even though it wasn't that busy. 4/10

I and a couple of friends attended for a bottomless brunch at the weekend. The place looks really Christmassy and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with good tunes and great cocktails. Evie was our server and she was amazing and friendly, answered any questions we had ... all round fab member of staff. Great afternoon, we will be back!

I am here at the moment having bottomless brunch and I had to write a review to say how lovely your team member Sophie is. A total credit to the establishment. Decor was lovely also

First impression was good as venue looked welcoming and was decorated festively. Empty but no acknowledgement from staff until we reached the bar. We had pre-booked so our table was reserved and we were directed to a booth near the bar with menus already available. Starter order was taken a few minutes later, but a drink order had to be reminded. The calamari starter was ok but sticky chicken skewers were not so good… two anaemic looking chicken fillets on a bed of rocket and toasted corn ( which was actually cornflakes) looked very unappetising and was very bland tasting without the extra pot of sauce included. Main courses - Burger looked good but as a burger connoisseur not in my top 10, the smothered chicken was disappointing, again anaemic chicken which questions the cooking process, 1 piece of streaky bacon and limited cheese covered generously in bbq sauce Chips and peas ok, very similar to a meal at Weatherspoons at half the price! Despite being the only customers 2nd drink order forgotten and had to go to bar to remind Won’t rush to go back!

Visited the Bedford S&L recently with some friends and was mostly served by a lovely young chap, Mario. His service was quick, he was super friendly and approachable and just made our experience much more enjoyable than other places we have previously been to! Would recommend

Last evening we went to this establishment for the first time with some friends as they have recommended to us many times. I have to say the food was amazing. Our server Mario was absolutely amazing. He went beyond our expectations, he smelled very very nice as my friends keep bragging about lol, he was very polite and a kind young lad to talk to, we had many laughs together. The cocktails he made were exceptional. Made our evening amazing. Definitely gonna come back soon. Hopefully the establishment will be busier as there weren’t many people.

It's a nice enough place, however, the service was slow despite the fact we were the only customers in there, and the cocktails tasted somewhat artificial in comparison to when we last visited year prior. Atmosphere is nice but the music too loud for a bar.

Molly is the loveliest server I have ever had! She is efficient and friendly and we didn’t have to ask for anything once! Would recommend 100%!

Me and my friends decided to do our first ever bottomless brunch but didn’t know what to expect. Firstly we was greeted and was allocated “Martin” as our personal waiter. Well he went above and beyond, he made our brunch better then we ever expected! We had THE BEST TIME thankyou so much we shall be back weekly ha! :)

I had a fantastic experience at Slug and Lettuce! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the creamy mushroom risotto, and the cocktail selection was impressive. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for a great meal and a fun time. Highly recommend! 5/5!

Nice place but very lazy staff at bar, waiting queues all the time, dirty toilets and same old music all the time when I been. Never stay too long, didn't enjoy the time

Food was really good as Brit was in the kitchen and every thing was spot on even with small adjustments to the menu , dani was our server for the afternoon and she was very attentive every drink was correct and came at a high standard as well as them arriving seconds within ordering them .

This is the second time coming to this slug and lettuce, 1st time was a bottomless brunch, service was extremely slow, and food was awful, menu was misleading regarding the pancakes which were clearly just brought from tescos next door, however on the way to Bedford Concerts thought I would give it another go. Wish i didn’t. It took 25 minutes to receive our first drinks which was a small glass of prosseco and a bottle of cider, this alone is awful, Then a lady 10 minutes later came and gave us a knife and fork while waiting for the food, and forgot to mention the 1 hour wait time on food. When we asked the next lady how long the wait time was she responded with “well if you ordered 30 minutes ago it’s probably another 30 minutes to go as you can see we’re very busy” no attempt for apology and no consideration whatsoever. needless to say extremely disappointed,
