I have allergies but every singe member of staff i spoke with ensured i could be catered for. Friendly & welcoming. Joshua was very polite & attentive.

Came hear for birthday great time great food great waitress Maria she was very friend had had a good work ethic ( LET THEM WEAR GLOVES)

Popped in for lunch, didn't book but fortunately it was not busy. This restaurant can be busy and I would recommend using the app to book - very easy. The staff were great as always, Martessa looked after us perfectly, she always knows which wine and food we eat. She just makes the visit brilliant she is always so cheerful. The food was nice and hot and well cooked. The ribs were nice and my vegetarian dish of halloumi was perfect. I enjoyed the new addition of the sweetcorn bread and the sticky sweet sauce, but my wife found it a bit too sweet. We finished with the lemon sunday dessert which was a nice balance between sweet and sharp.

We came in on short notice for a family meal. The staff were extremely accommodating and Martessa was able to ensure any modifications to the menu were done perfectly. Also thanks to the chef who cooked it all to perfection.

We went for a meal last evening using a discount code. The restaurant was very busy and service was a little slower than usual but Still Very Good. We were served by Chels and she was Excellent. The food was really hot and very tasty and couldn't fault anything. A Big Well Done to everyone. We will be coming back Soon

Have eaten here many times with husband and kids for breakfast and lunch, always reliable. On this occasion came with wider family for dinner. We all enjoyed our meals. All nicely cooked and all plates arrived at the same time. The kids love the salad bar, bread rolls and drinks fountain. It's not haute cuisine but it's good reasonably priced tasty food and it's very child-friendly. The children's menu is particularly good I think. The waiting staff are all lovely.

Breakfast it self wasn't great found hair and milk in coffee was off but our waitress was amazing zoe and rest of the staff sorted it out right away and was really sorry

I would say we had an excellent meal, reasonably priced, decent portions, nice and hot, served in good time by attentive staff so a good experience with nothing to dislike. Except! It's a shame that parking control has been handed over to the notoriously rapacious scam artists that are Euro Parks. Worrying that a single dropped mistyped digit as you enter your registration on entry could result in an extortionate charge doesn't get the meal off to a great start. If non-customer parking is a problem ( and I've never had a trouble finding a place in the past) there are lots of ways to deal with it but to associate with a company that earns all its profits by unfairly issuing extortionate charges to anyone that can't read the tiny print on the notices or makes a simple error is in my view a mistake and reflects very poorly on your own business

We use to attend this restaurant regularly but haven’t been since the refurb. Sadly it has gone downhill. The salad bar has reduced and doesn’t have basic items like onions (but has pineapple). The meals were significantly smaller and bland and the service was very slow. Sadly we won’t be returning which is a shame but for the money we spent it definitely was not worth it

I enjoy going to Harvester as I love the salad bar and they do meals which are not unhealthy. I was in the area so decided to go to the Harvester on the edge of Bedford. It's on Riverfield Drive and just off Goldington Road. As you turn off the road you will see the Harvester. It's on the opposite side of the road to the Tesco Superstore. I've never been to this restaurant and received a friendly greeting from Chelsea who was also my server. The restaurant was clean and everything was well presented including the salad bar which can get a bit messy when lots of people are using it. Even though it was a lunchtime during the week there were still quite a few people using the restaurant which was great to see. My meal was really tasty and Chelsea was very attentive and not too intrusive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My family come to The Orchard about once a month. It is always a pleasant experience and the food is always tasty and plentiful. However the best thing about this restaurant is the quality of the staff. Martessa is particularly impressive and so friendly but they are all excellent. We will be back soon.

It was so lovely, the food and drinks were nice. Also good service, and we had a lovely times, thanks to our waitress we had who goes by the name of Jess, she was really lovely and helpfull HAPPY DAYS . I would not mind going there to munch lovely food again. (Facilities) They were maintained well.

Not particularly impressed by the service. The waitress didn’t seem to have any spatial awareness, knocked my jacket on the floor off the chair, handed my colleague a menu passing it just across my face and leaned across me to pass the same colleague the bill. The food was ok, but nothing special. When we tried to pay, we went to another waitress to ask to pay as our one was busy, she didn’t even look up from picking up menus to look at us. Terrible, won’t be going again.

went for my mothers birthday today and it was excellent, our waitress Zoe was fast and friendly and the food was delicious :) will be coming again

Our waitress was Beth and she was abserloutly amazing. Always asked if we needed anything and didn't hesitate to get us what we needed :) . The food was nice and juicy . Gave a 4 star as where we sat was crowded and very loud . There was a table with a young child who let their young child walk on the table run round and spit . Not pleasant but with the staff and food was abserloutly lovely x

Beautifully decorated pub with a great layout of tables. Menu is good with a wide selection of options. Our waitress Martessa was brilliant, so friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. Helped us with our menu choices by explaining various dishes suitable for my dairy intolerant daughter. Food was lovely & came really quickly. Free salad bowl with every main meal too which was a bonus. Highly recommend this beautiful pub for a lovely meal.

First time visiting this Harvester and were impressed. Very welcoming and clean and tidy. Good good and well stocked salad bar. Service very good.

Oh dear me. Birthday meal for the family. Arrived 12.30- only had mains because it was an early lunch, yes we had salad, which could have done with a restock and bred buns were non existent. We sat waiting and waiting for our food and with a two year old in tow that was like an eternity. The food arrived at 1.50 wow- how is that even acceptable. Mine was totally cold. Chicken cold peas cold potato watery and you guessed it- cold. My son had scrambled eggs which was cold. Toast was not toast it was bread and it was soggy. My sisters chicken wasn’t cooked and she waitress chantel said ‘I promise you it’s cooked’ clearly seeing it was pink. Asked us how our food was at the end of the meal so what was even the point of asking us. My husband ate his because he was so hungry but said it was dry over cooked and cold. All in all service was poor. Food was very poor and we won’t be going back. Don’t take bookings of 9 if you can accommodate and provide the service and set a standard to make people return.

The restaurant looks much improved when we visited. Our waitress Chelsea was extremely helpful, friendly and polite. The salad bar wasn’t fully stocked up and the 1000 island dressing was empty and no butter. Our main meal food was extremely tasty and well presented.

Martessa was an absolutely amazing waitress. The food here was cooked to perfection and the drinks were on par, I would definitely recommend this place.

Not crowded even on Sunday lunch. Lovely staff. The food was very good - better than most other Harvesters and the salad bar was kept full. Deserves the 5* rather than 3* I give most Harvesters!

Prompt service, maybe a little rushed? Martessa was very attentive and offered to help my mother who has mobility issues. Food was OK if a little overpriced. Would go again.

A bad experience this time sadly. A mix up with the drink I ordered but was rectified, my main turned up 10 mins after the rest of my table due to a pastry issue and was served with cold fries instead of a jacket potato...

We waited longer than was acceptable for our disappointing breakfast, which included a very small portion of baked beans, bacon that was barely cooked, stale toast that resembled bruschetta and before we even started to eat our cutlery had to be changed as it was...

Been there with big groups of friends for dinner. Nice, cosy and big place. Plenty of seatings inside and out. Vast options for dinner variety from veggie, vegan to meats so do the drinks. Service is top class and very friendly staff. Love their help...

Disappointed with the lack of salad on the salad bar was told they had run out. Had to ask for some of the “sprinkles” to be filled because they were empty. Our meals were nice but the best thing about our visit was our waitress...

Visited a Saturday without a booking. All of the staff are an absolute credit to the Harvester. They were all really friendly and helpful. The food was good too. Overall, excellent time.

Had a lovely meal with the kids at Bedford Harvester. Received a voucher via email which gave us 50% off the main meals which was great. Chelsea served us and she was very friendly and professional. All and all a good experience.

Dad and I had a fabulous lunch of garlic bread and garlic mushroom starters, Dad had a chicken bacon and cheeseburger with fries and my simply chicken with sweet potato fries and green beans were all delicious. We drank alcohol free Old Mout cider.All served up in a clean and vibrant room by our lovely ever smiling server Martessa. Service was spot on, definitely be back

Went in on Sunday March 2022 for Mothers day and the food as usual was very good and cooked well. Our waitress Sharon was excellent and thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. Very kind and pleasant and excellent service.Generally this restaurant is always very good and have not had a bad meal here.

Martessa was very attentive, polite and excellent with my granddaughters one of which was celebrating her 7th birthday. Martessa went the extra mile by putting a candle in my granddaughters dessert and singing happy Birthday to her which was a lovely touch.

Went for Sunday dinner with my partner and Amy was amazing despite us not booking and found us a table. Then Brandon came over and was so happy and so cheerful taking our orders and made sure we always had what we needed. Had the sirloin steak which was fine, the peas were undercooked, the “dirty” fries had hardly any cheese on and the fried onion was very greasy. Informed Brandon of this and he was more than apologetic. The service from Amy and Brandon was 5/5.Food was 3/5 unfortunately!

Had a lovely lunch after a hard fought rugby match with my son. Service from Sharon was amazing. No sign of Mandi though....... on a Sunday aswell 😉
