I had read very good reviews about this restaurant but was disappointed. It was a chilly evening but there was no heating. We ordered olives for starters but they never arrived. My husband had the roast lamb which he said was good. It was accompanied with roast potatoes and veg. I ordered pan fried cod which was cooked with a variety of beans and not accompanied by anything. I was astonished by how small the piece of cod was and it cost £26 which was £2 more than the roast. We both had cheesecake which was very bland. Not a good experience.

The best restaurant for me and my family! Healthy food and very delicious! The taste is incredible and what we like it the most is the freshness of the food ! We go there very often even if we have to pay more for our meal is worth it because it's fresh, delicious, clean restaurant ! We didn't find any other restaurant nearby like this one!

I paid a visit to this pub on my travels and found the staff were inviting and friendly, a good selection of beers and food available, great atmosphere and very nice decor, ample parking available would highly recommend it to all who visit.

popped in on Christmas Eve after enjoying the carols in the precinct which was a vibrant affair, had a pint in the village bar, vibrant and full of life and Christmas joy. then made the mistake of visiting the White Horse. The landlord was very drunk and surly to me. the regulars were, as always crowded at the bar near the entrance which always make anyone intimidated when coming in to the public bar, Mark made it clear I was not his friend, he didn't like me and told me it was my fault the pub was closing down on Christmas day as I and other villagers didn't use the pub enough. oh, the pub is open today, but will i go in... probably!

A proper pub. Friendly staff and regulars, accommodating and uncomplicated atmosphere and cracking food. What more can you ask for? We came with a dog and baby and everyone was catered for. If you're looking for silver spoon service, this isn't the place for you. If you want good food, drink and a comfortable space to relax, it's perfect. We'll be back.

My wife and I booked a two day stay to celebrate a special event that included Spa treatments. The welcoming atmosphere that was extended to us from the moment we booked in, continued throughout our very enjoyable stay. The extremely generous accommodation provided within the Siena Suite was on par with many London premiere hotels that we’ve enjoyed in the past. The generously proportioned and beautifully decorated room was matched by a clean, modern bathroom with very generously proportioned bath and open style shower. The Beef Wellington that my wife chose was beautifully prepared and was flavoursome and my Tomahawk Steak dish was perfect. The chef and team are to be commended for creating a really personalised meal for us which, when combined with the canapés, champagne and wine, left us feeling extremely spoilt. The subtle, yet attentive service we enjoyed, not only at the restaurant, but at each of our Spa sessions, has left us committing to returning in the future. Our thanks to the Manager, Jacqui, for moulding a multi disciplinary team who treated us with a level of service that many other establishments would do well to emulate. The Italianate setting that the premises are modelled on reminded us of our stay at Lake Como, with perhaps a slight adjustment of the external temperature and whilst there are more, minor, additions to the landscaping still planned by management to complete the ambiance, we had a really enjoyable stay.

The Mill is siuated just out of town overlooking this beautiful grassy floodplain of the Stour. They have a very special outside aspect with the first floor Terrace that overlooks this beautiful expanse of grass and the Sun comes over and presents a beautiful sunset where you can chill out and have a drink or eat dinner. The first room they tried to give us were separate and outside the building They called it the cottage but it was just this building down the steps and was musty and overlooked the car park we wouldn’t of stayed there - we asked for a room in the Mill proper and they gave us this beautiful room on the second floor overlooking the pond with the swans and everything , couldn’t have been nicer The rooms are kind of Ye Olde with beams, et cetera I’m really nicely appointed. The buffet breakfast full English et cetera was really nice all the things you might expect and they make the eggs fresh for you.. the restaurant is nice with all the beams and stuff and the food is very good a little pricey but we was on a birthday treat. You could walk into town from there so it was a good situation and we had a very nice stay there two days.
