Chose to go here as they allow dogs inside and was nice to see the 'help yourself' station to dog bowls, water and a treat jar. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff.

I visited on Sunday 23rd June when there was a bar quiz on but would not be returning to eat in the restaurant again . You have to go up and order and pay for your food with only one person behind the till and with a que standing behind you as it was a quiz night . I ordered three tapas and one was the calamari and that not only looked disgusting was not fresh at all and the potato brava had no taste as well as the prawns were barely warm . They brought the good out only 5 mins later so all the food is just reheated !My partner ordered the chicken burger with fries and this was also bland too .with stale straw and really tasteless fries.All the food is of poor quality and not of any great presentation as there is no pride in this cooking and worse it cost £13.95 for such rubbish food with £9.25 for an Aperol . This restaurant only appeal the surroundings it looks nice inside but the food is TERRIBLE..and has you have already paid at the beginning not so easy to complain when I found my prawns were cold they made me feel like I really put them out to go and get me a hot portion … really drop the attitude.

Poor customer service. Family of four (two small children) in a queue behind another couple. Couple got seated at a four seater table despite three two seater tables being available in the immediate area. Got looked up and down at as if there was some sort of problem, "oh, there's four of you?" Quick look over shoulder, "oh, probably a 15 minute wait". I noticed a few seats in the lounge area and asked if we could sit there, which we could. A group of five was next in the queue behind us. They were immediately seated at a six seater table which highlighted another six seater table next to them. My partner asked to be seated at the free table and we was told we could. The lady was clearing the table and returned several times removing all the plates. We then waited another ten minutes but nobody came back. We had already decided what we wanted in this time and wanted to order using the app but we needed the table number so moved across to the vacant table. As we was ordering our food, the manager came over and basically told us off as if we were naughty children saying that we should wait for the table to be wiped down before we are seated. Being the customer, we were fairly shocked at this and didn't know what to say. He then very abruptly said "well, do you want me to wipe the table down or not?" As if we should have already moved out of his way. Overall, the staff at Prado Lounge displayed very poor managerial skills in terms of seating people at adequate tables. Were then very slow cleaning a table to the point where we thought they had finished and were then very rude to us after we had sat at the table in question complaining that it hadn't been cleaned as if it was some how our fault. Ultimately, the mistakes and tardiness of the seemingly inexperienced Prado Lounge staff resulted in my family and myself being criticised. It's a shame as we have had good experiences here before. Generally the food is pretty good and comes out quickly which is what you want with two small children but this latest visit would make me think twice about going back there.

Very disappointing waited ages for an overpriced hot sandwich which came out lukewarm and had the onion in that we requested to be removed! Staff didn’t even ask if everything was ok in fact did not say a word when removing plates! Won’t be returning

I can understand waiting to be shown to table but after standing for over five minutes and be completely ignored with not even a simple “someone will be with you in a moment” we went elsewhere. Not acceptable, very disappointed. Custom lost

Oops, I forgot to review Prado Lounge, Sudbury... which is a shame as they deserve their customers. Our order was taken quickly, we sat in the big, comfy window sofa and were served our good sized and hot drinks of hot chocolate, Cappuccino and Latte... all very nice. The atmosphere was busy but not excessively noisy and all three of us agreed we'd call by again next time we're in town. Thanks team Prado!

The cowboy smash burger was awesome and so was the Vegan Caribbean cauliflower curry! 100% recommend . Great service and very quick.

I visited with my family for lunch and was so disappointed. The prada lounge has really gone down hill. It’s a shame because the staff that serve you are really lovely and welcoming. I ordered a chicken dish and it was awful and tasted of nothing. So I reordered another meal costing me double and that wasn’t any better. My sweet potato fries were not cooked properly so I literally gave up in the end. My son’s pizza had way too much cheese on it that he was picking it off. My husband fish finger sandwich was a struggle for him too as it was awful. I complained to the manger and he said he would reimburse me but he never did. We won’t be visiting again.

Not the best. I love the haloumi burger and so that was what I was looking forward to. My partner had bombay chicken burger. Unfortunately we waited 35 mins for the food to come out. I upgraded my chips for sweet potato's but the upgrade never came. Got chips instead. Told the lady not to bother changing as we were starving, and I would be happy for them to just refund me the upgrade I paid. No one returned to me to offer me the upgrade money back and I couldn't be bothered to have to ask again. Chicken burger severly over cooked. Not the best.

Visited on new years day after a muddy walk around the water meadows. It was very busy and we were told there would be a 40min wait for food but, after being seated and ordering, drinks arrived almost straight away and food about 20 mins after. We had the smashed avocado and beyond meat burger, both were tasty and reasonable for the price. Staff were really accommodating despite being very busy, and also found a dog friendly table without a fuss. Overall is a reasonable place for informal dining, great that it is so close to walks and the town centre, as well as being dog and family friendly. Will return!

Been a few times now. Once with someone with specific dietary needs and they went above and beyond to assist Second time I went with work for a Xmas meal. Foods always been amazing. Fairly prices. Good service and clean.

The bar itself is very nice, friendly staff but the price of the food and drinks are very expensive. Over £15 for a burger, which , for that price I expected a lot more flavour. The beer was nice but again at nearly £6:a pint it make popping in for lunch a bit pricey.

Had the lounge eggs for breakfast plate was covered in water, then the egg white was not cooked properly everything else was fine , sent back for a new one egg came out then over cooked and the hollondaise sauce was almost sour which it was before, went home as didn’t want to complain twice and had the most upset stomach I am also 11 weeks pregnant so definitely will be avoiding from now on which is a shame as this was our go to breakfast spot

We arrived as a group of 6, with 2 babies and 3 dogs hoping to get some brunch. We had a long wait at the entrance after being told they were short staffed and we nearly left as then started to expect a very slow service once seated. However once they managed to seat us we did not have a long wait for food or drinks at all! Glad we waited! Was a great atmosphere for the family. Staff were very pleasant… and patient with our 2 one year olds toddling about the restaurant! (Sorry!) The breakfast I had was great, so surprised to see some of the other reviews. I had the Miami breakfast with chorizo and it was delicious. The only complaint would be the elderflower fizz I ordered didn’t taste of alcohol at all… but perhaps my partner ordered the wrong thing!

We had a breakfast our first and last visit, the breakfast came out within 5 minutes of ordering so not cooked fresh, it was swimming in grease and luke warm, worst food I have had in a restaurant, could not eat it, what a waste of money!

Used to be a great place for a drink and bite to eat however the recent drinks price hike and removal of the 2 for 1 cocktails before 8pm on a Friday has put me off spending my money at Prado. £5.60 for a pint of Estrella is just crazy.

Was in town for a wedding and stopped by for breakfast. We were met with such friendly service and delicious food. Would definitely recommend for a nice coffee and something more substantial to eat . They are also great for food intolerances so you can feel comfortable eating there.

As ever, the service was spot on, attentive and welcoming (particularly good considering how busy they were). I live close by so it's always my go-to place for a catch up with friends in the daytime (great vibe, cakes and tea/coffee!). I went with my partner tonight for dinner and we both ordered dishes we'd never had before. He had the Pulled Brisket (Chilli) and I had the Nasi Goreng (had no idea but it sounded interesting). Both dishes were fabulous, offering tastes we've never tried before. Really really well delivered, good value for money and because it was a 'Cheeky Mondays' deal, we got a free wine each! I’ve been here now about 20 times, and we always have a great e experience, pre COVID this place buzzed, post COVID it’s still is but with very safe caring measures in place, well done. Its businesses like this that can adapt and put positives on this awful situation deserve to be supported and thrive when we get back to the new normal. I normally go for the steak frites, beautiful, always good and they can produce a rare steak which I don’t see too often in other places. Today I went for the tapas, and again wasn’t disappointed, the meatballs were the star of the show for me, very Tapas bar standard in appearance and more importantly flavour, could have been in a back street in Spain! Prado lounge has been my favourite place for about 2 years now, the staff are amazing, they always know exactly what I’m after now and are so friendly, made many friends here, their covid safety has been perfect couldn’t fault them, I’ve brought family and friends here and always say it’s my number one restaurant, leeane always greets me with a smile, Megan and caylee and always lovely and make me feel so welcome when I visit on my own, feel so safe here and the food it amazing, couldn’t fault prado If I tried

Visited Prado Lounge with my husband this morning for brunch. Nice choice on the menu. We're not vegan or gluten-free, but they offered a decent range of options for those who do have dietary requirements. Covid handling was also appropriate. There was no bar service but you can order and pay via an app with minimal interaction with staff. Overall, would highly recommend. £26 for two decent platefuls of food and 2 coffees.

Sent bacon back as it had been cremated toast toasted one side beans luke warm sausages pre cooked luke warm replaced bacon with apologies from chef I told them perhaps he should return to mc Donald's for training as he would be a good burger flipper as a chef all this after waiting 45 minutes for food crap

Food was perfect as always, arrived really quickly but at the same time we didn’t feel at all rushed. All staff were lovely and attentive, and Andy the manager was very helpful. Will definitely return again and definitely recommend to anyone. You can’t go wrong with a visit to Prado lounge, they have good food and lovely drinks for any time of the day!

I felt the need to leave a review because I haven’t seen it in many places, but the cleanliness alone was amazing! We were greeted and seated, any table that left was cleaned immediately, social distancing was easy to do. Most comfortable I’ve felt in ages whilst out! Yummy food and friendly staff!

My family and I absolutely love this place. The food is always spot on, service fab and atmosphere faultless. It is so family friendly (and dog friendly - BONUS!) not to mention they do a quiz night every Sunday from 7pm, £1 each to enter and winner takes all! It’s such a good evening and a lovely way to end a week. Thank you Megan!! We will always recommend this place and continue to come back always.

Nice location in the middle of sudbury town centre. Mainly burgers on the menu which were OK but nothing to write home about. Freindly service from the waiter and social distancing measures in place. Would probably visit again at a later date.

Have been here twice, tables cleaned and staff guide one away from tables that have ot been sanitised. Menus are used once and disposed of. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating and forms to fill in with contact details The coffee and food are good too. Well worth a visit.

Firstly, all the bar/waiting staff need to be congratulated.. friendly and competent on a very busy Tuesday during 'eat out to help out' I must admit, when I saw how busy it was, I thought our lunch would take an hour to arrive, however, the kitchen staff were definitely on the ball also as it took 20 minutes maximum.. and was nicely presented and tasted really good The place was clean, and very well organised for the current social distancing rules.. I visted Prado on a Monday after noon after a really good experience at Edmundos in Bury. My friends and I like coming here as they have a great vegetarian and vegan menu. Overall we were a bit disappointed. My friends vegan BLT was really tough, she could barely bite through the meat alternative, she had the same in Bury which she said was really nice and not tough at all. I had the Halloumi burger and chips which was nice but only luke warm. All the rest of our food was nice though and we benefitted from the 50% off scheme so we can't complain. We ordered via the website to save queuing at the bar but when we tried to order dessert the website crashed and we had to go to the bar anyway.Also, everything was extremely sticky. I assume its because everything is being sprayed and wiped more for hygiene but it wasn't pleasant. The floor was filthy too and more attention is needed around sweeping the floor after a messy table has left, I didn't even want to put my bag on the floor.It's a shame more attention to detail isn't made as I feel Prado has a good niche in the market for offering a good choice of veggie and vegan food.

Visited with my husband,have enjoyed eating in here before. But tonight the food was awful. My chicken was burnt and the whole meal was cold and congealed. Hubby's burger no better, same burnt chicken and cold. Just about inedible. Also I understand things are tricky right now because of covid 19 but although venue was not busy every table around had dirty glasses and plates consequently people couldn't sit anywhere. Really disappointed, eat out to help out? Not here again, will avoid .

the service on the phone was brilliant, food tasted lovely as usual but I’ve never ordered a takeaway from here before. I was shocked about the small portions you get considering how pricey certain things were like the side dishes. I had a few sides which were around £4.95 And I got barely anything. I felt as if I payed a lot more then I actually got considering the portion sides are ok during a sit down meal in Prado! Never the less, the food was good just wish I got more for what I payed for.

Took my grand children in here and sat at the front of the building. Unfortunately the 2 men we sat near were using four lettered swear words and we had to move. Why did these men feel they could F and blind in front of a 6 and 7 year old I don't know. Did complain to staff and just as they were going over to ask them to stop they got up and left. Must say that the member of staff was apologetic but just felt it should have been noticed before I did. Anyhow, this put me off the place and we left. Consequently I couldn't tell you what the food is like and I don't intent to go back to find out if this is the type of clientele that frequents the place

Great quiz nights, a lot of fun for £1 and the pronunciations get better each week. Friendly staff and good food for a Sunday evening. Worth a go for good prizes
