Under new management since August and the young barman has put so much effort into enticing people to this lovely old Inn. Venue hire, pool tournaments, live music, poker nights and accommodation, it's a great place for a pint and to spend time with your mates!

We went to the Earlham as part of a party attending a wake. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff lovely. The buffet provided was excellent and when an enquiry was made concerning gluten free food some was immediately sourced from the Blackhorse across the road even though it hadn't been specifically ordered. This is definitely a venue we will be back to eat at next time we are in Norwich

Had an unplanned visit here after a walk over Needham Lakes on a very warm day. So a cool drink and food was certainly welcome. We had two small dogs, so we had to sit outside. That's OK, a nice day and plenty of tables outside, and a large grassed area up the steps beside the inn. Inside the inn it looked clean and the staff were friendly, quite a good selection of drinks. Food selection was good and they had a few specials, what we ordered was brought to our table outside, quite trek for the server, up the steps but they were obviously used to it the way they managed to traverse the steps with a large tray full of food and condiments. Delivered with a smile and made sure we had everything we wanted. Food was tasty and good temperature, plenty of it as well. In all a pleasant visit, prices reasonable and compares well with similar establishments. I would visit again but I would expect for the less able, they would need to be inside or on the one table I saw at ground level. I didn't see a wheelchair access but there may have been another entrance I didn't see. The entrance we went in had steps and would have been very difficult to get a wheelchair through, there are also steps to the toilets.

When ordering was told 20minutes but once paid it kept getting longer and longer ended up being an hour! Food arrived stone cold and cream on drink had completely melted. Won’t be using again .

Firstly the food was ok, lovely home made chips, but the pub was filthy. We were the first there when it opened that day, didn't look like it had been hoovered, food all over the floor, dirty chairs, dust everywhere. I hate to think what the kitchen was like if the pub area was so dirty. Also the dining area was very dark and dingy, service wasnt fantastic either. Doubt i'll be returning.

Visited the Kingston Arms a couple of weeks ago, I noticed there was a new member of who I think is also a local because I recognised him from when I've been in a few times before. He was so miserable, and absolutely stank of BO as if he hadn’t change his top in a while or washed. I have a very sensitive stomach and safe to say I didn’t want him handling next drink or me getting near him to smell it again so went elsewhere after. Shame as the pub is a favourite of mine when I visit Cambridge.

Never been to this pub before it was a wonderful experience. Everything was fabulous, the atmosphere, the food ( Sunday lunch), attentive and friendly staff, really couldn't fault it. The roast was top notch, a hearty plate full, and desert of brownie and ice cream just finished it off splendidly. Couldn't praise this place enough, will definitely return.

Had breakfast today at Ashlyns farm, very disappointed with the quality of the food, ordered poached eggs with feta cheese, crushed avocado and chilli tomato chutney. The poached eggs were served like hard boiled eggs, and there was about a tea spoon of chutney, I sent the eggs back and got my plate returned minutes later with under cooked eggs full of water that made my toast soggy, and for over £14.00 it was very disappointing. Over priced, low quality food, will not be returning or recommending. Spend your money elsewhere and avoid.

We visited on a Saturday evening with a reservation for six. Initially, we were seated in the bar area, which was quite noisy due to a live act — something we weren’t informed about beforehand. After about 45 minutes, we requested to be moved, as we had come primarily for dinner rather than a lively bar atmosphere. Fortunately, there was plenty of seating available in quieter sections, so it was unclear why we were placed in the bar area to begin with. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. It took well over an hour to come out and all of our meats were ordered medium but arrived well done, with the chicken noticeably burnt. Interestingly, the only dishes we enjoyed were likely pre-prepared items like the pie and lasagne. Considering the prices, the overall value was disappointing. I can't knock the staff though they were polite and attentive. All in all, not the best experience and probably one to avoid if you’re after a relaxed dinner with quality food.

This is without doubt the worst dining experience I have ever had. Upon arriving my sister in law had a very inappropriate comment made by the waitress regarding my brother. Then after waiting for 15 minutes someone finally came to take our order but she didn't even bother to stand up to take the order she sat down for the entire time. then when the food did arrive after a long wait all the portions of pasta were different sizes and my fiancé got maybe half a teaspoon of crab with her crab linguini. We also ordered some truffle fries which they forgot so I had to remind them and then when they did arrive it was just fries with Mayo drizzled on top not truffle fries at all, when we took it back the staff behind the bar told us "it's coming" to which I said "no it's here and its still wrong, please take it off the bill" then when we got the bill they tried to charge us anyway and they also tried to add their own tip! Disgraceful. Avoid.
