I can't comment on the food as I didn't have any but the staff was nice, it was peaceful and not overly crowded.

The White Horse reopened yesterday after being closed for a few months. We stopped off for a quick half!!! A lovely welcome from Lianne, Bruna and Charlie, all happy to engage in conversation with us, dog friendly too. Lots of plans fo the future of our local pub and we wish them every success!!!

3 of us attended for mother's day roast dinner. Absolutely beautiful. We had the lamb, beef and turkey. Huge portions, piping hot and all tender and absolutely delicious. Veg was cooked perfectly, huge yorkshire pudding and amazing gravy. Great service, attentive but not rushed at all. Beautiful restaurant. Highly recommend.

Visited for a family birthday meal recently. Excellent old pub with plenty of parking. I had steak and chips, steak was well cooked and succulent, everyone else commented on how well the food was cooked, minor gripe was the chips could have been better. I was fairly quiet in the restaurant area and service was good and staff attentive and polite.

Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere

We had a family meal here for my nephews birthday and everyone was very happy. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff serving us were fantastic and the pub looks great and was very comfy and warm.

We held my mums funeral wake at the white horse today 25th Jan 2024 and I can fault them at all everything was superb the food was plentiful and delicious would absolutely recommend them thankyou so much for everything it was superb we chose the £19 per head menu and it was well worth it ☺️

Went in here pre-lockdown with my father for a Sunday Lunch. It was ordinary at best, and very slow service. TWO STARS. Thus when it came to my Fathers wake a couple of years later I was rather apprehensive. However they did us proud. We had the back room/restaurant to ourselves, the food was good, varied and plentiful, and the overall price was very good. FOUR STARS, so three overall.

Absolute gem of a place. Really friendly staff. Food is fabulous, and the place is super cosy with a real log fire.

Lovely feel and great atmosphere

First class guest experience. We went on New Years Eve to a dinner and a show with the incredibly talented Marc Bolton. The set menu was adapted to our taste without complaint and the food was delicious. The service from the staff was faultless. The decorations were beautiful. The DJ was great creating a great party atmosphere. It was a perfect and memorable evening for all the right reasons. Well done The White Horse and thank you.

Regular user of this pub for business meals and also Staff functions. Always an excellent service and food, and looking forward to the OSI Xmas meal in December

They never answer the phone so not sure how we are expected to make or query a booking. If you are not going to listen to the answer machine and call back you may as well throw the machine in the bin. Other than that a very pleasant place with good food and entertainment. Fantastic outside space with it's own bar.

Jason and Stuart are fab both friendly and helpful easy to talk to customers lovely friendly as well especially Sunita and Darren pub is really lovely very cosy with lovely open log fires plenty of choices of drinks altho they close at 7pm on a Sunday

A wonderful pub / restaurant which is an amazing find. The Sunday lunch was one of the best I've had. Excellent portion size for hubby and dad!! The service was excellent really friendly but not in your face. Already looking to go back on Thursday as another birthday treat. Hosted our engagement party here, we had an incredible evening, very accommodating and friendly team, 40+ people impromptu ordering food on a Saturday and it was no issue at all, thank you!

When we arrived midweek midday the car park was full and there were about 2 people in the pub. The atmosphere was quiet and the staff weren’t very sociable. The food took a while to come out.. we all agreed the quality and portion size you recieve it is not ahead of the competition in the area. We felt it was overpriced and would stick to just drinks next time. They really should consider reducing their prices. £18 for a small lamb burger is high end London prices

Went to see Rod Stewart & the Farces who were excellent. Sat outside in a Marquee was a tad cold.

We have visited this pub a number of times before and have always had a good experience. It is one of our favourite pubs to visit in St Neots. This was the first time visiting for a Sunday roast which was excellent! We'd previously visited on a Sunday when there was live music and thought they had this every week. So we were disappointment when we got there and this wasn't the case. One big thing that lets the pub down is only having baby changing facilities in the ladies toilets. It is very outdated and sexist and causes issues when my husband has tried to change our daughter.

Our first visit here and wish we'd discovered this little gem sooner. Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely setting. There wweresingers there the afternoon we went which really added to it. The kids had a great time making friends in the garden and playing on the bouncy castle. This will definitely be our first choice of pub from now on.

We used the White Horse for a wake. They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, right from booking and arranging through to the wonderful service on the day. The food was amazing, they catered for allergens and put on a great platter for our gluten and dairy free guests.

Fantastic pub restaurant staff very friendly and welcoming. Their entertainment nights are awesome.

Updated from 5 star in 2022. Prices 20-30% higher than last visited in 2022, food was fine but at the higher price needs to be great. Service was so-so, we were the only people in at 12:30 on Saturday so no excuse there. Pub still a third full when we left, suggests others have same view. Shame.

Came to see Ruby Rox and her support act Lia Gray. Both were fantastic.

Thursday evening visit, it is a nice looking old pub with plenty of parking. Dined in the restaurant area, but had to ask for a menu after 20 minutes sat waiting at our table. Seemed quite random who got menus and served first. We both opted for steak, which was very gristly, and quite watery sauces. The mushroom, tomato and chips were nice though. Overcharged by £22 when paying the bill, wasn't told the amount beforehand, just given the card reader. Fortunately, I asked for a receipt and looked at it before departing. Then had to explain what we had ordered so they could work out the correct bill. Overall summary, very poor, we won't be going again.

Blasts awful music across the entire neighbourhood 5 times a week, seems determined to annoy its neighbours. avoid.

We had a surprise birthday Sunday Lunch for my wife with family and friends seated in the outside private dining area. A superb time had by all with great food, wine and company. The service was outstanding, really first class! Highly recommended. Thankyou to all the staff for making it a truly memorable day.

Had lunch is secret garden as main bar appears to be closed lunchtime during the week. It is a nice covered area with plenty of seating. Can’t say the welcome was over friendly but it was efficient. Struggled a bit with menu which we found was a little under whelming for our tastes to be honest. The meals were good and the haddock very nice in a light beer batter. Not sure if we got the buy one get one half price, but if you go ask them to explain the offer as I did not book the table and have only just seen it advertised on web. At £135 for 4 I don’t think we did.

The best food around ! My sunday beef roast was amazing and the best vegetarian roast ever! Service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming. The food was delicious. We stumbled across this place by accident, and we will definitely return.

We came for a special night with all of the starters/mains being lamb based with some amazing food and would definitely be worth another visit. The landlord and the rest of the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient

I've had a sunday roast and it was beautiful. Want more. I had my 60th birthday party there . With about 15 of us there. Stewart and Karen, the land Lords gave us all a fabulous time. My birthday was memorable thanks to them. Thoroughly recommend the white horse.

Lovley pub, great atmosphere, great staff, great food and bear. Stayed at local premier Inn , so good ate and drank here both nights that me and my wife stayed at local Premier Inn, definitely recommend it👍

Bar staff, waiting staff and manager are super friendly and so helpful but sadly food was not very good, seemed rushed and not much love put into it. BBQ Ribs were very dry with no sauce, pork belly starter was cold and so was the roast. Cocktails were delicious and the barman making he cocktails is great!

Had a lovely mothers Day meal with my mother in law, food was delicious the staff were very polite as well,also had a gift of a polyanthus, too.

Cracking pint of Guinness after work

3 of us and a small dog. We visited last Friday, with a very warm welcome & that wasn’t just the fire. The main barman (possibly the landlord) was so proud of the food & menu he knew what to suggest & he explained how fresh the food was. All of us had a lovely 2 course meal & couldn’t fit any more in. It’s a beautiful looking pub & friendly staff. Would recommend 100%. Thank you.

Came here for a work Christmas Party, it was in a marquee which was absolutely freezing. I was suitably dressed for winter and yet had to keep my scarf and coat on as it was so cold. They turned on some heat for a few minutes at one point, but then it quickly got cold again. I had soup to start just as I wanted something hot to eat as I was so cold, which was quite nice, the bowl was huge if you had the time to use the smallest ladle to pour it into the bowl, my partner had the terrine, the bread was extremely thinly sliced and it was unclear if it was for everyone or just to go with the soup. Main course had 5 choices, the turkey/nut roast side ran out of plates so I went to get some more, the plates were very hot considering guests had to hold them with their bare hands, no napkins provided at the buffet table to carry them. My partner had the beef stew which only had carrot and beef in it with one dumpling and really runny gravy, not what I would call a stew, he was told he could help himself to roast potatoes, but they were with the turkey table with the utensils near the staff member so didn't feel he could help himself when she was using them to serve others, would've been better if there were some with the other table. I had the turkey which was OK, but for those that got roast potatoes near the bottom of the chaffing dish they were soggy rather than crispy. Dessert we had Baileys profiteroles (not overly tasting of Baileys though) and mincemeat frangipane, that didn't taste of almond at all, but I only had this so I could have the hot custard as I was still so cold. We left after we ate so unsure what the evening entertainment was like. Service could of been better with more staff serving the main course buffet so there wasnt such a queue, food was OK, but portion sizes very different depending on what you chose to eat and heating needs improving so it is more comfortable. Parking was very limited we so had to park down the street, would've been good if there was a sign to say it was full as many cars drove in then had to try and turn around to get back out to park elsewhere

An absolutely fabulous restaurant. The food and atmosphere is just pronominal. The roasts are to die for, highly recommend. Just wish staff where a little more attentive, only offered us drinks when we first sat down and they seemed very rushed. Like they didn't have 2 mins for you, had to flag them down for drinks. Food came out quickly and hot. Would still return, amazing food!

Nice old pub ,17th century good cask ales and good selection of larger friendly staff ,but me being a tight arsed Yorkshire man the beer ain't cheap, but still good...

We stopped here one Thursday evening as we were passing through, and I have to say, it was really excellent. The food was very good and on a Thursday you get a free carafe of wine with two main meals, and the wine was pretty decent as well. Highly recommended.

Fabulous pub and restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is always prompt. Lovely waiters and bar staff. The management goes out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. They have a large marquee attached to the pub which they often have live bands on, cinema nights and they host weddings.

Always a winner. I have been eating and drinking here for years. You can't go wrong.

As always a fantastic family Sunday Roast here last week. The food and atmosphere is always great and live music is always a massive bonus. Fair play to the staff it was very hot on Sunday.

The place went down hill before COVID . Have been twice since and guess where it's gone . So so disappointed. Both meals brought out wrong , event going on that was so loud we couldn't hear each other in the restaurant. Was not even told the event was taking place when we booked .

Not been here for many many years, since moving away from the area, however decided to eat here with my parents on a Saturday evening recently. It was a great choice. The place was buzzing, the staff were exceptional, draft beer was excellent, and the food was good too. Will definitely come back again next time we're in the area.

The White Horse has a beautiful garden at the back with plenty of tables. we ordered the Meaty sharing platter which contained an amazing hot scotch egg along with an assortment of meats. it was good value and delicious.

I wrote a review a while ago after having a very nice Sunday Lunch . We returned a couple of weeks ago and this time it was not very good at all . From arriving early we were over 3 Hours the wait was awful...

It took a bit long long for the food to arrive (45 min) but everything looked amazing and it was really good. The deserts were amazing in both taste and a nice quantity. Good service as well. Edit: I have been again for lunch this time in May 2022 and the food (main) and desert were awesome. 😍
