The best restaurants serving British food in Nottingham East Midlands

We have been coming here for many years and have had some wonderful times. Unfortunately this was not the case on our last visit. The whole vibe of the place has changed. It was very chaotic and the food wasn't good at all. Spoilt our evening.

First time visit, excellent chips and peas and donner kebab

Lovely customer service from the ladies. No one likes a last minute customer but we’re happy to serve even though they were ready to go home. Served throughout with a smile, didn’t even charge me ! Will recommend to everyone as it’s my go to, if you’ve not been head down and support !

Nachos were disgusting. No sign of any beef and salsa tasted of vinegar. Will not go back.

When a great night out, the service is excellent.

Lovely cheese scone, lovely coffee.

Good good chocolate and excellent freshly prepared lunch. The cheese is of top quality too. Also the only place where we found a good caramel syrup.

Decided I would give this place a try today. Never have I been so angry at receiving a cob. First the price was far too expensive. This is also based on getting two bacon and two sausage. Ya know, like allllll cob shops. No no, not this place, this place has the cheek to charge you £3.90 for a cob that has one slice of bacon, one egg and a teeny tiny little sausage patty. They must be working on 200% profit margins. I will never be returning and I will make sure anyone who comes on our building sites won't be going either. Absolute piss take.

The staff in here are the best! Always friendly and chatty and a positive experience, I love coming in for my coffees

Great place with fresh food(fish and chips is a must try !) and friendly service..can't go wrong !
