Langtry's in Nottingham

Chicken and mushroom pie was great. My friend had Moo Blue (steak and stilton) and loved it. The pies are served on a bed of mash with plenty of gravy served separately. Only quibble is the lack of veg. Would have been nice to have some broccoli or cabbage and carrots to round it off. Otherwise, no complaints.

A lovely old boozer full of crusty old boozers.

Love this place staff are friendly and generally the ales are kept really well

Gran gama de Ales, etc. Menú limitado, pero era excelente comida y precios razonables. El personal era amable y el ambiente acogedor.

Made me spend ten minutes signing up for some app for a free drink. Finally got the app then he told me I couldn’t actually have the drink because there was a “problem with the app”. Why do you have posters up for it everywhere then?

Lovely place for lunch/dinner. Food was tasty! Live music later on created a fab atmosphere. I don’t drink but the cocktails went down well with my mates 😊

Went for drinks and had some nice cocktails that were all on offer. Speedy service too don't leave you waiting at the bar very long at all even when busy

Ha sido un asiduo de Lilleys desde hace varios meses y nunca he puesto un pie equivocado o una palabra equivocada, siempre trató al personal con respeto. En la visita con mi anciana madre Nochevieja nos encontramos con una clienta haciendo comentarios sobre mi madre cerca del callejón del inodoro. Se intercambiaron palabras entre nosotros y eso fue todo. Luego fuimos al bar y nos negaron el servicio. El funcionario se negó a escucharme explicando que esta mujer comenzó conmigo y mi mujer de 80 años y nos sacó por la puerta. Esto nos ha molestado tanto a mí como a mi mamá, ya que no hacemos nada malo solo tomamos una copa y luego nos vamos a casa. Siento que tuve que escribir esto ya que el miembro del personal no nos escuchaba diciéndole la verdad, se nos culpa por algo que no hemos hecho. Mi mamá tiene 80 años y ciertamente no salimos a tener filas. No había necesidad de tratarnos como criminales endurecidos como él.

Small traditional style pub in this city centre.Good atmosphere. Prices are good too

Beers good great atmosphere, live music, everything you want from a good pub. Haven't eaten there as yet so cant comment on the food, but plenty do.

Always rammed on a Friday night. Good beer. live music. Can't fault it.

6 of us called for a couple of drinks each before going to a restaurant near by . We managed to find a table so we could all sit together. The staff were friendly and polite , the atmosphere was very good . The prices were reasonable for a city centre pub . Would definitely visit again.

Vino a almorzar con colegas. No he estado por siglos, pero el pub ha tenido un cambio de imagen desde la última vez que vine y se ve bien. Muy bien situado, personal amable. Chica con el pelo rojo nos sirvió y era muy hablador y nos hizo una buena recomendación.

Después de haberme encontrado con más de una hora libre después de una reunión de negocios, me encontré con un encantador pub llamado Lillie Langtrees. Como bebedor de cerveza me gusta obtener una selección decente de handpull y este lugar ofrece opciones que rara vez se ven más. Cuidado por la encantadora Georgia, permitiéndome probar unas cuantas muestras, me decidí por un Lincoln Tank inicialmente seguido por el probado Tribute y London Pride. Como visitante bastante regular de Nottingham, siento que necesito llamar y probar los pasteles que se ofrecen la próxima vez.

Los baños para hombres necesitan advertencias de salud, gran pub con buena selección de bebidas y buen personal, pero los baños para hombres son impactantes el olor a orina y los pisos húmedos y el moho son increíbles la cervecería necesita hacer algo y rápidamente nunca comería aquí impactante

Good busy pub in the city centre

As soon as my friends and I sat down we were instantly approached saying we need to buy drinks if we are to stay. Less than 10 minutes later we was again approached with the same question. Making us feel uncomfortable. We decided to leave. Very un polite staff.

We had an excellent time last night for a 60th birthday. The atmosphere was brilliant. Lauren went the extra mile and made a big birthday really special. Thank you so much 😊 x

Nice traditional pub, good staff, and a nice clean pint, but unfortunately the ladies toilets were an absolute disgrace quite clearly they hadn't been cleaned properly in a couple of months.

It is a nice bar with a bit of history attached and a good place to meet up with friends or work colleagues. It often has live music in the evenings which can make it difficult to talk, but great if you want to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a pint. Plenty of guest ales on tap.

Excellent pub, well kept really ale from local breweries, great service.

Didn't eat so can't rate that. Otherwise great atmosphere in one of nottinghams oldest standing pubs love it.

Well, I've been coming into this pub since I was 20yrs old, that's 44 years, it's a good atmosphere 👌

The fruit loop playing the fruit machines all afternoon ruined our visit. Two other couples and a single man both left because of him. We were determined to stick it out as long as we could but enough was enough. He does this otherwise very pleasant pub no favours!

Visiting Nottingham for the day and found this little gem. Great little pub, team are wonderful. Would highly recommend

Welcoming, large selection of ales.

Good place to watch sports. Good range of ales and lagers. We booked a table for the fa cup final, good atmosphere,nice fellow punters and friendly staff.

Lovely place with very nice and welcoming bar staff. Unfortunately spoiled by "regulars" that seem to be able to get away with anything because they are regulars. The male bar manager has no diplomacy whatsoever and lets the pub down. I used to go every week but no longer attend after being pushed out by threatening behaviour from regulars that has been allowed to continue on more than 2 occasions with no action. Again, great bar staff but terrible Bar Manager who's borderline discriminatory in his decision making.

We would have gladly given this pub 5 stars until yesterday, we found this pub when looking for live music and we can at least highly recommend it for the music, but the service was exceptionally poor last night especially from the deputy manager, we chose to leave early before the set was done. and as we were leaving a separate group of people stopped us and encouraged us to make a complaint about him as they had also had issues. A real shame as we’ve loved coming here for the music, but not sure we will be back

Lillie Langtry's is a great traditional pub in a great location in Nottingham, with lots of bars nearby it is still in the traditional style with a good selection of beers we go to this pub in the afternoon mainly but it's equally as good at night 👍

Decent boozer. Can get rammed inside on weekends but also has outside seating. Decent range of real ale (5) and a boxed cider but it was a lillys flavoured type

A decent pub with decent beers. A traditional and welcoming atmosphere.

Meeting up with mates for a bit of a reunion in Nottingham, this city centre pub was the ideal location. In the early afternoon it was surprisingly busy, but had the relaxed ambience of a pub with contented shoppers or people out to lunch. The service was good and our beers excellent.

Had a decent pint of Neck Oil and the food was PieMinster. Service was great.

This is a CAMRA pub however in ordering we were told that they had never accepted CAMRA discount as a it was a 'spoons' thing. Staff rude with condescending manner. Drank in this pub for many years, may not be back.

Fantastic venue with a great selection of local cask ales. Very friendly staff. Was made to feel welcome. Dog friendly too.

Best pie and mash in the city hands down, great portion and really tasty. The staff are so lovely. Venue is a quaint little pub with a great atmosphere.

great atmosphere, there are loads of pubs around town but none of them as great, friendly and family enviroment like Lillie Langtry. I fully reccomend this pub, specially to watch the footie or Xmas time, they made the pub so warm and welcoming in xmas time.

I love this place. The food is great and the beer is exceptional!! If you like the real ale pub vibe and you're ever in Nottingham its well worth a visit.
