Service very slow,,15min before we were offered a drink,,but Service after that was excellent..

Nice pub with a good service. Beer selection could on tapbe improved.

Came here a few nights ago for Chelsea vs Liverpool Carabo Cup game, absolutely amazing atmosphere, cheap drinks and friendly staff. All in all, a very inviting pub and if you look for a place for a quick bite and/or to watch any sport, they usually show it on their screens that are in every corner of the pub!

Awesome city centre pub and so dog friendly, serving a small range of cask ales, I highly recommend the resident beer, Tribute from St Austins, which on Mondays is reduced to £2.00 a pint!

Visited here 3 adults 2 children, had spent a couple of days in Manchester. On the way to east Midlands Airport we stopped for food. A quick summary. Frozen chips. Battered fish from a packet ( Iceland esque) cold nachos. Burnt fish, burnt scampi. Just can't understand or believe some of the favourable reviews this place has got.

Very disappointing. Ordered a sharer and two mains...the sharer came out with the mains not sure why a starter was sent that way. I ordered a burger which was OK but the lettuce was limp and the portion of chips was laughable and cold. Condiments were brought to the table... obviously not been kept in the fridge as we're warm and the mayo had split. My husband ordered the mix grill....the menu states gammon steak...it was obviously a slice of bacon as it was that thin. The steak was ordered as medium rare, it was well done on one side and rare on the other and very chewy...cheap steak. The chicken breast had clearly been cooked in a microwave as it was tough, rubbery and the only saving factor was the sauce with the sharing chicken wings that it could be dipped in to give flavour. The egg was hard... I feel sorry for the chicken that laid it as what a waste. The peas had a plastic taste and the chips were cold. The girl at the bar drawing on blackboards needs to watch her language also as many times was heard using the F word....delightful. The pub look inviting from outside but would certainly never eat here again as the food was abysmal.

Great pub in the centre of town check out the Lilley's cider just wish they kept them in the fridge

Mixed staff ratings to be honest, most of the staff are really nice but there is a couple there who seem to go out of their way to feel offended at the smallest of jokes , the food if nice and the pub itself is nice and clean , a bit of music wouldn't go a miss but over all a nice place 😀

Love the loxleys, great for a drink after work, food is phanominolal. Will definitely be coming back for more. Staff are very friendly and will have a laugh. Lovely selection of drinks would reccomend lily's mango

Thought would try somewhere else other than the usual so went to loxley first two times breakfast was the best I've had went last week jan 5th and was the worst,paid for a large breakfast,went with my daughter,sausages were burnt,bacon was the same,hash browns soggy n then the man who brought it out said sorry got no butter for the toast,left feeling really disappointed,don't know if i will go back incase same again........hi I rang today but the man who answered said sorry I have no idea who it is you need to speak to I explained it said the owner and he said sorry I cant help but I dont kno who!!!!!

Food was fine, nothing really wrong with it but there's nothing to rave about. Also didn't have a fair few things available from their menu so was overall just a bit underwhelming really. Nothing terrible, and definitely don't think others should avoid, just not really an experience that leads me to want to go back

Great pub for the football, nice atmosphere and staff

Hearty pub with loads of different seating options from traditional restaurant seating to tall bar seating and booths with TVs in each if you want to watch the football. I went on a Wednesday which is the special for a 'Pie and a Pint'. The hunters chicken pie with mash was a great portion and really hit the spot. I would compare the system if the pub as almost identical to a Wetherspoon. On the day I went it seemed a little under-staffed as most empty seating was not cleared and wiped down. But that is most probably because it was the day after Christmas. The staff was friendly and we'll presented. Good food and standard drinks on the menu.

Had a great meal with nice calm atmosphere ideal place to go and have a nice night. The barman was absolutely perfect, so polite and pleasant, thankyou Jessie. The rest of the staff were amazing too. Chef did a good job!

Professional service. Perfectly cold lager is served here. Comfortable seating in the corner with wall covered by clocks. Interesting place. Good location. Close to Old Market Square.

What a lovely spot. Stumbled in from Faradays, screens everywhere, the best customer service, especially from Max.

England Vs Scotland was a brilliant atmosphere, service was amazing from both Lauren and max!!

Within minutes of taking order our food was here amazing friendly helpful staff food was amazing and desert was to definitely go again very happy customer returning again soon.

Staff made me feel really welcome after a long train journey. 5m walk from station near tram and bus links. Dog friendly inside and out. Water bowl and treats extra touch. Great to relax and plenty of space. Booths and tables. Great to get away from the hussle of the busy treets. will definitely come again!

Great place for some pub lunch. Slightly on the expensive side but you get a good plate full. We ordered the steak as a medium and unfortunately they arrived well done.
