Love this restaurant so much ! Stunning views of rhe glorious grounds . Elegant decor and amazing food and service. It’s also great for afternoon tea ! The pink lounge is so pretty ! I got married there in 1999 . Branston Hall is a very special place in my heart .

This is a great place to go whether as a couple or a group. We went as a party of 10 to celebrate my birthday. Service was excellent, menu extensive and Paul, the chef, took our order, offering recommendations when asked. We all had 3 courses and everyone loved their meal. It's our favourite place to eat. You have to try it - but book to avoid disappointment

Food very tasty, friendly atmosphere, interesting deco. I highly recommend visit this place.

We came to The Homestead as the restaurant we went to that was attached to out hotel couldn't accommodate us, so we were pointed in Homesteads restaurant, this turned brilliantly we were taken to a table quickly, the waitress Lynn was extremely lovely, smiling and welcomed us, our drinks were served quickly, and Lynn gave us the time to peruse the menu, we ordered and the food came in good time, the food was great. I had steak and ale pie with a fantastic gravy, I actually asked for more gravy and this came quickly the three of us said we were so glad to have ended up here, in all great service, lovely food and a good price we had 2 corse special which was £16.50, what a result

I took my partner out here a few weeks ago and had the best time. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely stunning. I was served by Karina and Sam, who were absolute stars. This time around I had the plant based burger, such a gem to see good vegetarian options. I will definitely be returning ☺️💙

Pedido desayuno a las 10: 20 pero aún no había llegado a las 11: 00, hora en la que la gente que había llegado después de nosotros estaba siendo alimentada. Hablé con un supervisor que dijo que la cocina no había recibido la orden de la caja! Volvió directamente a la cocina para pedir los desayunos que llegaron en unos diez minutos. Nos ofrecieron bebidas gratis en compensación. Es la compensación más barata que se podría ofrecer. El desayuno estaba muy bien, pero no me gustaron las salchichas Lincolnshire, que quizás era solo mi gusto, pero las salchichas vegetarianas se homogeneizaron sobre procesado algo. La tostada estaba buena pero mi pan parecía tener una corteza salada. No hay mucho problema con el desayuno, pero un poco extraño con la mermelada. Teníamos algún tipo de explicación para el retraso debido a donde nos sentamos, pero solo se puede pedir en la caja, no donde nos sentamos, y los problemas de comunicación entre la caja y la cocina. ¡De todos modos todos los demás a nuestro alrededor estaban siendo alimentados!

Came here for dinner on Saturday. Restaurant was very busy but staff were amazing. AJ was fantastic took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. BBQ meat sharer was to die for, the beef was juicy and tender. Kids had “chick and mixes” which were great value for money. Service was quick despite how busy it was. Will definitely be returning!

Booked a xmas lunch months ago. 90 mins before our sitting, I got a phone call to say they would not be able to fulfill the meal because Whitbread had had spillage issues at their warehouse and it was affecting the whole of the country! Can't believe that a company the size of Whitbread did not have a disaster recovery plan to enable them to meet their commitments at such a special time! At the very least Whitbread/Brewers Fayre should be offering free meals to all those poor people let down by this shameful fiasco!

First time visit and very impressed. Had lunch which was delicious, freshly cooked, hot and nicely presented. Lots to see inside and lovely healthy plants for the garden outside . Will visit again as the breakfast menus looked good 😊

Great breakfast and service excellent, food good value as well. However…..£3.69 for ‘tea for two’ one cup each and one tea bag! Takes the shine off the visit completely.

We were staying at a nearby campsite in winteringham And we booked a table here for 8 of us We were very impressed with both service and the food. The waitress and barmaid were very attentive and the food was really lovely We had the steak And wine Deal the wine was very and the steaks were cooked to Perfection ! The deserts were also great value for money too Thank you

We went to White horse holiday park in Mettheringham near Lincoln. I took both my daughters (15 & 10) and it’s such a peaceful pretty location. Well decorated 2 bedroom lidge with hot tub & central heating! Spacious bathroom with lovely powerful shower. Nice and clean. Curtains in every window. Comfortable bed. Extra bedding if needed (but it wasn’t warm enough)! It is extremely remote …. About 20 mins from the shop so make sure you take enough snacks. There’s a bowling alley 20 mins away (Hollywood bowl) a mini golf and axe throwing, escape rooms & warehouse near lincoln which was fun (25 mins ish drive)! Enjoyable stay, comfy & clean. Food was good at the pub (white horse inn) Thai & English food with a pool table.Good selection of spirits, beers & wines too … enjoyable atmosphere. Good amount of crockery and cutlery, washing up Liquid, dishwasher tablet, tea towel etc …. Didn’t need anything other than food and drink. We enjoyed our stay. Thankyou.

Doddington House itself was under refurbishment, but that didn't matter. Not sure where the Afternoon Tea is happening normally (as the tea-room parking was opposite the house (other side of the road) , but the entrance was not in the house. A more recent building at the side, where the farm shop, café and their parking are located. No problem. We were welcomed friendly and guided to our table. A pleasant atmosphere, with a simple, but nice decoration. Enough space regarding Covid measures. When entering we were asked if any diets had to be taken into consideration. And yes, 1 of us is vegetarian. So a Vegetarian menu was added. We were offered some time to have a look at the menu. It mentioned several AT-menu's (bread, cakes and scone, with tea or coffee. For the vegetarian one, humus was used (in stead of meat). Everything was served shortly after ordering, together with a big pot of fresh tea. We opted for the traditional Afternoon Tea Menu's. A lot of food, good food. The ladies asked a few times, in a friendly, not imposing way, if everything was OK and if we wanted another pot of tea, when assuming it was getting empty. We, appreciated very much. We will surely return. As mentioned thee was a lot of good food, the scones were really nice, with cream and jam. And we were offered a box to take left-overs home. Thank you very much. A nice experience.

Decidimos probar el Carnicero y Bestia para el almuerzo dominical de esta semana y fue una gran elección. La cena de ternera era realmente deliciosa y la hamburguesa clásica y patatas fritas con un tazón de ensalada de col se veía increíble y aparentemente sabía muy bien también. El asado vino en un plato cubierto en su mayoría de carne con un enorme pudín de Yorkshire, patatas asadas y bola de relleno. Un tazón de verduras frescas cada uno y una gran jarra de salsa cada uno. Nos trajeron una botella de agua que se rellenó si era necesario. El personal y el gerente son un grupo encantador y amable. Con todo vale la pena el viaje para probar el almuerzo del domingo y no nos decepcionó. Desafortunadamente no tuvimos espacio para el postre, pero tal vez la próxima vez 😀
