We were staying at a nearby campsite in winteringham And we booked a table here for 8 of us We were very impressed with both service and the food. The waitress and barmaid were very attentive and the food was really lovely We had the steak And wine Deal the wine was very and the steaks were cooked to Perfection ! The deserts were also great value for money too Thank you

Love this restaurant so much ! Stunning views of rhe glorious grounds . Elegant decor and amazing food and service. It’s also great for afternoon tea ! The pink lounge is so pretty ! I got married there in 1999 . Branston Hall is a very special place in my heart .

Food very tasty, friendly atmosphere, interesting deco. I highly recommend visit this place.

We were staying locally. Wasn't keen to go initially after bad experiences in Brewers Fayre outlets. Glad we did, Nice pub quiet on the evenings we ate there. Pleasant surroundings clean and staff were great. Dishes we chose were new to us and really good value.(smothered platter with 8 oz steak) Drinks were reasonably priced too. Food arrived quickly after ordering. Well worth the visit. Thank you.

Popped in as we were looking for Sunday lunch. Unfortunately we live an hour away otherwise we would be back! Lovely food and great pub. Google maps directions are terrible though!

Our first visit very impressed with the quality of the food and service. Lynn our server looked after our needs very well.

We visited for the first time today for Sunday dinner and were not disappointed. We were met with a warm welcome as soon as we arrived and shown to our table where our drinks order was taken in a timely manner. The menu was varied and delicious: I had the pan-fried sea bass and my husband had the burger. Our kids had the children’s menu which was equally as good. We were served by Freya and Erin who were both polite and efficient. We will definitely be calling again 😊

Siempre disfrutamos de visitar y disfrutar de la comida. Recientemente tuvimos el almuerzo en la tienda de la granja cafetería / restaurante que era excelente. El servicio fue amable y rápido. Mis únicas quejas fueron el café, yo tenía un blanco plano que era débil y no realmente hecho como un blanco plano debería ser, y los precios son altos cuando se compara con otras tiendas agrícolas similares, es decir, Chatsworth por lo demás muy bueno.

Absolutely woeful. Started off with two dirty glasses. But that was just foreplay. Rib Eye Steak was desperate - when I sent it back I was offered a complimentary desert or drink. My partner ordered medium/rare fillet steak. It was burnt to a crisp. Furthermore accompanying corn on the cob must have been slow boiled for a week as it turned into mush the moment you sunk your teeth into it. Without doubt, one of the worst food experiences ever. I would not send my enemies there.

First time visit and very impressed. Had lunch which was delicious, freshly cooked, hot and nicely presented. Lots to see inside and lovely healthy plants for the garden outside . Will visit again as the breakfast menus looked good 😊

Great breakfast and service excellent, food good value as well. However…..£3.69 for ‘tea for two’ one cup each and one tea bag! Takes the shine off the visit completely.

Bueno... por dónde empiezo. La posada White Horse tiene una entrada contigua a Donde nos alojamos en los retiros de Liv, así que pensamos ir a comer para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi marido. Pedimos nuestra comida a las 5. 15 pm para 4 de nosotros... esperamos tomando una bebida encantadora y relajarse. Mientras esperábamos otros pidieron comida y nos dijeron que hay un 30 minutos a una hora de espera! (No nos dijeron nada) esperamos una hora y pedí una actualización que dijo que los nuestros eran los siguientes. Le pregunté si podíamos tenerlos en cajas para llevar, ya que me dolía, ya que hacía tanto frío que todos seguían dejando las puertas abiertas. ¡No ha dicho ningún problema! Esperábamos media hora más... ¡todavía nada! Dijo que me diera diez minutos... miré mi reloj y dije que ahora hemos estado esperando 1 hora y media. Dijo que lo siento, que seremos tan rápido como podamos. 15 minutos después recibimos 3 cajas de comida. Le pregunté si las 4 comidas estaban divididas entre las cajas y ella dijo que solo había pedido 3. Le dije nuestra orden exacta y ella dijo ¡oh, te tengo mezclado! Pedimos nuestro dinero de vuelta y nos fuimos, ya que estábamos decepcionados con todo, especialmente el servicio, ya que podríamos haber salido con nuestras 3 cajas y tener la comida incorrecta!

Doddington House itself was under refurbishment, but that didn't matter. Not sure where the Afternoon Tea is happening normally (as the tea-room parking was opposite the house (other side of the road) , but the entrance was not in the house. A more recent building at the side, where the farm shop, café and their parking are located. No problem. We were welcomed friendly and guided to our table. A pleasant atmosphere, with a simple, but nice decoration. Enough space regarding Covid measures. When entering we were asked if any diets had to be taken into consideration. And yes, 1 of us is vegetarian. So a Vegetarian menu was added. We were offered some time to have a look at the menu. It mentioned several AT-menu's (bread, cakes and scone, with tea or coffee. For the vegetarian one, humus was used (in stead of meat). Everything was served shortly after ordering, together with a big pot of fresh tea. We opted for the traditional Afternoon Tea Menu's. A lot of food, good food. The ladies asked a few times, in a friendly, not imposing way, if everything was OK and if we wanted another pot of tea, when assuming it was getting empty. We, appreciated very much. We will surely return. As mentioned thee was a lot of good food, the scones were really nice, with cream and jam. And we were offered a box to take left-overs home. Thank you very much. A nice experience.

Muy buen pub local que sirve muy buen almuerzo del domingo, toda una joya de un pub en un pequeño pueblo. Obviamente un lugar popular como restaurante totalmente reservado para el domingo, así que tuvimos que comer en el bar. Sabroso almuerzo tradicional de domingo con porciones decentes, con carne adicional como extra pagado. Dos pequeñas quejas, que podrían ser fácilmente subsanadas. En primer lugar la comida se enfrió bastante rápido, aunque era un día frío y no muy cálido en el bar. Tal vez calentar más los platos antes de servir sería bueno. En segundo lugar, la mesa era pegajosa, pero quizás eso fue porque comimos en el bar, de cualquier manera no es demasiado difícil limpiar bien las mesas. En general sin duda recomendaría.
