Brewers Fayre in North Kesteven

Haddock, chips and mushy peas…sooo good. Chips, which are usually just a filler were lovely and crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Light batter on the fresh haddock, massive portion, perfection ! Husband had the beef pie which he really enjoyed and bonus was a 40% discount voucher which they had sent for being a Bonus Club member. All the staff were great and the place spotlessly clean. Thank you.

Had a meal here with my husband last night and we both ordered sirloin steak. Couldnt have made a better choice. Tasty food which was cooked to perfection. Staff friendly and attentive. Can highly recommend it as it was the nicest steak and best service we've had in ages!!

Arrived for lunch without booking. Met at the door by manager Alan who juggled a few tables and got us a table . The customer service at the restaurant is 1st class. Friendly and efficient.Alan went out of his way to fit us in . We ordered 2 carveries and went to get them . The chef at the carvery counter is a friendly gentleman, always got time for a chat as he serves a 1st class carvery. All staff at the bar are friendly when ordering food. If brewers fayre have a league table, this restaurant of there's should be top of the table. Great food and great staff. Well done to all. Be proud to work in such an amazing place. 10/10

We were a party of 9 and pleasantly surprised. The food was very fast. It arrived hot and plentiful. The waitress service was very good. The value was excellent. We will definitely visit again.Thank you.

Visited here while our car was being serviced. We had meals from the 2 meals for £11.99 menu. I had gammon and my husband had lasagne with a side of chips, we also a latte (free unlimited refills) and I had a j20. It came to just over £21.00. Absolute bargain. The food was lovely, could not fault it at all and the staff are polite and efficient. Only one thing which was a very very slight whinge, was the hand dryer in the ladies, it kept cutting in and out and I gave up in the end. Overall, a lovely visit.

I came in with my niece for a drink and was served by Daisy B, who was very helpful.We had the totally tropical and mint and lime mocktails which tasted great.

We went booked in for a meal first the man at the entrance desk was very welcoming showed us to our table explained what was not available (only couple of items) then informed us where to order. I went up to order lady very pleasant ten minutes later food arrived again waiter pleasant. The food was excellent piping hot well prepared. When we were finished unlike several other restaurants our plates were cleared and we were asked would we like pudding our answer was no thanks as we were full but next time we must try to leave space as they had a nice selection. The toilets were immaculate and the restaurant immaculate. First time in there it won't be our last. The staff were all welcoming and polite and friendly Recommend 100% our steaks were the best we've had for a long while

We went as a family trip for Fathers Day buffet breakfast and just want to comment how great the team were. It was so busy, and food needed replenishing often but nothing was too much for the staff on shift. Thank you for a lovely morning and start to the day. The team are also extremely allergy aware which is great and makes you feel at ease with knowing which choices are safe for your dietary needs.

Lovely breakfast, staff are very welcoming. I bring the children often and they are always treated with open arms by the staff. Will definitely be returning again this weekend as we have an early start so we can fill their bellies. Brilliant start to the day.

We came here last week as a family of 5 after a very busy start to the day with different appointments for all of us. Decided we deserved a treat as hadn't ate out in awhile and landed on this local restaurant. Quickly given a table near the play area which was a blessing as we could still see the kids without listening to the screaming. If you know you know. The play area was the saving grace here as when the food arrived it was awful. The kids pasta was just microwaved frozen meals with the bowl full of water from the ice melting. The mains for me and the wife was a standard beef burger and a lasagne. The lasagne was just another microwave meal and the burger was that dry I can see why they offer refillable drinks. Think if we ever go back it will just be for a trip to a play area as the food is just not up to scratch.

Another lovely family meal . This was a large group and we were well looked after . Very good friendly service and food . Lovely welcome at the door and seated with a smile .

We had a lovely time here as a family, children loved the soft play and we loved the fact we could watch them while relaxing having a drink. Staff were very friendly and accommodating my daughter has an allgery and they made sure everything was correct and safe for her and checked food we ordered was suitable. Shall definitely return again!

Even after returning the gammon, and asking for it to be put back under the grill, it still came back pink and undercooked.

We booked the festive menu and was not disappointed! In our group of 7 the prawn cocktails, soup and Mac and cheese bite staters went down well. Then mains- 5 turkey dinners and 2 festive burgers! Everyone enjoyed their mains and the burger was divine! Then onto dessert- a few too stuffed but the Christmas pudding and Sherry trifle sundae were yummy! The service was excellent and the little details like crackers made us all smile. Thank you.

We booked for 5:30pm arrived early. Greeted by a pleasant lady who advised us there was a 30 minute wait upon ordering. We sat down chose our food and went to order. The order went through at 5:27pm. At 6:25pm we asked where our food was, we were told that they were very sorry but there had been a mix up with tickets and they were playing ours next and it would be 5 minutes. 6:40pm I asked again! Hey presto, meals finally arrived. I asked for no peas on my mixed grill, it came swimming in peas. It went back so they could be scraped off. It came back swiftly. I pick up a chip it bent in the middle. The crispy beer battered onions had obviously been dipped in the beer for to long as they to were soggy. The eggs looked like they had been cooked yesterday. The manager came and looked agreed and comped the whole meals at the table. That was very nice of her. But I was Hungry. I ended up with a bacon sandwich at home. So much for a pleasant family meal. The cutlery that came with the grill still had someone’s else’s egg on the top of the knife. Quite frankly I will never eat in this awful restaurant (ha, Chef Mic!) again.

this place really fills you up. i had 2 plates of full english breakfast and that afternoon i was full to the brim. good value for money, under 16's eat for free

Served the kids raw sausages with their sausage and Mash choice. Sent it back, they reheated the sides (beans, corn on the cob and gravey and brought out the same plate with now over cooked and sausages like rubber. Our mains were below average too, the chips were either reheated or left on a hot plate, the salad was pathetic and the smothered chicken was tiny, a mess and dry. Won't be returning.

Hubby and I popped in for an evening drink as we had eaten elsewhere earlier in day. Welcomed by Dee the manager who was nice and friendly. Throughout the evening we did notice Dee "was on it like Sonic!!!" Welcoming customers,clearing tables and keeping an eye on the staff. Just how a manager should be. We have visited quite a few Brewers Fayre restaurants and this by far was the cleanest,tidiest and friendliest. So much so we booked a table for the following evening. This time we we welcomed and seated by Steve. He too was friendly,helpful and efficient . Our steaks were served to our liking and were presented and tasted very nicely. All staff were friendly and polite. Already looking forward to our next visit in near future when we are in that area again

Called in over the weekend for dinner. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy. Quick service at the bar ordering, food turned up quickly. Great meal, tasty, hot.... definitely recommend

We visited shortly after 8 am and arrived to an empty restaurant. We opted for the £9.99 deal, as much as you can eat, both continental and hot food included. The lady said that the hot food was being brought out as we arrived and would not be too long. I was expecting piping hot food but the eggs were stone cold, the mushrooms were quite hard, the tomatoes were cold and the bacon looked barely cooked. We ended up eating toast with the beans and sausages and a few croissants with tea and that was quite nice.... I probably would return but would visit later. Not bad bar the cold items.
